YES! The book finally turned into the plaid footstool. Feeling proud of herself, Rapunzel plopped down onto the comfy stool and watched the other students. |
AJ sat there, thinking, for several moments before raising her wand. She cleared her throat, raised her wand into the proper position, pointed it at the toothpick, inhaled, and concentrated hard on the toothpick. As she spoke the incantation, "Fabricia drink umbrella!"a small smile grew on her lips, and she began to giggle, as the toothpick changed before her eyes and turned into a slytherin colored umbrella that one would stick in their drink at fancy resturants. She had one in her lemonade once. It wasn't much of a trasfiguration, but it did change, no-the-less. She raised her wand once more to get a more drastic change result. "Fabrica umbrella!" she said and flicked her wand, wondering if it would indeed, actually change. She jumped back about a foot as the little toothpick umbrella changed into a full sized one, fully open and everything. AJ was already off to the side, working better without others around her, and was glad, for otherwise, if she had been near people, the umbrella would surely have hit someone. |
Hmm. Maybe I can try something more complex. "Fabricia quilt!" The spoon gave little shake......and grew mini quilt patches all over. Oh my.She thought with an amused smile. Maybe I'm not ready for a quilt yet. How about.... "Fabricia cloth napkin!" With success, the furry spoon transfigured into a white cloth. |
Taika Ai waited for Jezzabell to respond, and while she did, she retrieved another wooden stick to pracitise on. She raised her wand and said, "Fabricia coral!" It would surely be more complex since coral was technically living, but she was hoping to at least transfigure it to dry coral; she was very homesick and would be more than happy to decorate her dorm with things that reminded her of her home. She waited, imagining a lovely bed of coral. She focused all her magical energy onto the one thought, hoping it would work. She opened her eyes and let out a little squeak of joy. It had worked. Sitting before her, small enough to fit in the palm of her hand, was a patch of beautiful, dried, blue-ish white coral. |
Emily was so thrilled to finally get to use magic. With a huge flourish of her wand she aimed directly at her little toothpick and said "Fabricia Chocolate!" She grinned as the toothpick transformed into a Hershey's Kiss. "Yummy" she said, picking up the kiss and popping it into her mouth. "Uck!" she sid, rushing for the garbage can. She leaned over the trash and spit out a chocolate-coated woodchip. "Okay, So, no more food." She said, laughing to herself. She set her sights a bit lower, and began practicing turning her toothpick into a piece of parchment. The spell still wasn't going perfect, but at least this time it wasn't ending up in her mouth |
"Fabrica hairbrush!" Jackie commanded, and there, on her desk, sat a wooden hairbrush. Jackie smiled with herself and tried another time. "Fabrica parchment!" A piece of parchment now replaced the hairbrush. |
Jacqui took notes on several parts of the lesson, then, as the practical part arrived, she shakily rose from her chair and pulled a bottle of ink from the box. Once seated, Jacqui felt a sharp stab of pain in her stomach she knew to be hunger as she sat the ink on the table. Thinking of turning the bottle into food, she said: "Fabricia food." Nothing happened. I probably need to be more specific, she thought. "Fabricia chocolate," Jacqui said. The ink bottle shook slightly, then turned brown, but it was still a bottle of ink. "Fabricia chocolate," She said. Something happened deep whithin the bottle, but as far as Jacqui could see nothing had happened. Once she felt it was safe, Jacqui poked it and found it was no longer glass. It was something slippery, something different. Something edible. Jacqui smiled and licked her lips, then picked the object up and bit into it to taste it. As the food melted slowly and delicously melted in her mouth, she knew she had just made chocolate. |
Sophie realised after almost everyone else was changing thier objects around her that she was supposed to be doing that also. She got up placing her wand on her blonde hair and took a toothpick from the desk. She stared at it for a moment her head on the side before drawing out her wand. She pointed at it then thought hard of a fireboltclosed her eyes... "Fabricia Firebolt" The tookpick quivered before it grew what seemed like two tiny twigs on the end. Sophie slouched a little before re-gaining her posture and concentrating as hard as she could, "Fabricia Firebolt" She leant so close to the object that it was touching her nose. There in front of her was a minituare firebolt. Raising her hand she asked, "Is it supposed to be the right size once you have switched it Professor?" She picked up her minituare broom and showed the Professor. |
If anyone knew Kennedy, then knew that her favorite food was chocolate chip cookies. If they knew her really well, they also knew that the thought of chocolate chip cookies was enough of a distraction that it could get in the way of her transfiguration skills. Deciding to use this moment to her advantage, Kennedy went up to the box and retrieved an small old timer clock and a small square of silk. Kennedy thought the items she picked sounded similar enough to what she wanted to transfigure them into that she shouldn't have too much difficulty. She set both items on her desk and turned her wand first on the clock. With the appropriate wand movement and firm incantation, "Fabricia chocolate chip cookie!", the clock was transfigured into a beautifully round, fragrant chocolate chip cookie. "Excellent!" Kennedy spoke, pleased with the look of that cookie. With her stomach giving a bit of a growl, Kennedy turned her attention to the piece of silk. Kennedy thought, Now for my beverage of choice to complete this mini-meal. Just before she was about to turn her silk into milk, she remembered that she would need to conjure it with a glass. That made things much more difficult. Remembering she had an empty potion vial in her bag, Kennedy retrieved it from the front pocket, set it on the desk and began rolling the small square of silk into a scroll. Next, she fitted the small scroll of fabric into the mouth of the vial, without letting it fall inside. She hoped that if she aimed her spell just right, the silk would turn to milk and fall into the vial. She muttered to herself, "Well, here it goes." Brandishing her wand and aiming it at the silk, Kennedy called, "Fabricia milk!" Thankfully, Kennedy was successful and didn't spill any milk. She had about half a vial full - enough to wash down that cookie. Kennedy was quite pleased with herself. Just as she was about to eat her cookie, she thought she might have to transfigure them back. She raised her hand and asked, "Professor, do we absolutely have to return the items to their original state?" |
Diabolica was glad she was going to finally be able to use magic again. She raised her wand, and , pointing it at her napkin, muttered, "Fabrica feather!" It didn't work at once. "Fabrica feather!" she muttered again. Suddenly, the napkin disappeared--and turned into a pitch black feather. Pleased with herself, she called out, " Fabrica book!" And, as she was expecting, it turned into a large hardback volume. She smiled. |
Nat looked around her, at all of her class mates having a go at the incantation and most of them getting it right in the first attempt. Nat's mind was so full at the moment, it felt as though it was going to burst with information. She looked at the tooth pick in front of her and wondered what she should change it into. Pondering for a moment, she felt like all her creativity had left her. Then, as suddenly as that, she had an idea. "Fabricia Book 7," she muttered to herself, hoping that only she knew what she meant. The toothpick gave a little shudder but stayed in its normal state. 'Just my luck,' she thought to herself, 'I'll have to attempt something else.' Looking around her for inspiration, she saw a Slytherin girl turn her napkin into a feather and though this might work for her. After a couple of failed attempts, she said in a clear, strong voice "Fabricia Feather," and finally it worked. I long beautiful peacock feather was sying on her desk, "finite" she said, changing it back and then tried a number of times to make sure she had got it and the first success wasn't a fluke. Happy with her progress, she waited for the next instructions. |
Hazel took an object from the box and placed it on her desk. She thought for a moment and then pointed her wand at the object. "Fabricia quill!" she said. Her first attempt wasn't so good as the object only had a pointed end like a quill. Not that I had expected it to work at my first try. she thought Once again she pointed her wand at the object and with concentration she said: "Fabricia Quill" This time the object changed into a quill. She picked up the newly transformed quill from her desk and grinned. |

Anthony looked at the object in front of him and then cleared his throat, smiling a bit. Other than DADA, and perhaps the dark arts themselves, Transfiguration was his favorite subject, and best. "Fabricia Cup," he said. It didn't work. He had done the spell sort of lazily. He repeated it once more, the smile not quite as large upon his face. This time it worked. Happy, he realized he was thirsty. "Aguamenti," he said, pointing his wand in the cup. It filled with water and he smiled, taking a drink. |
Jezz walked over the Slytherin that had just created a cup. He looked nice enough so she said, "Hi, my name's Jezz. What's yours?" |
Scott raised an eyebrow at what he had just been told to do and couldn't believe it,with a sigh he said "professor cant we do something a bit more interesting like....urr..study animagus i mean this is SO first year stuff" he said pulling out his wand and pointing it as the plates and shouting "Fabricia small mouse" hoping the spell would work and show professor pride was he was made of....but he was wrong, instead of the plate turning into a mouse it was now a very small, fuzzy brown plate with a little tail.Scott looked up at professor pride red cheeked "i...i.i...it ..urr....must be broken .."Scott said over a flood off mumbles and murmurs |
Carolyn started to flip through her textbook, in a bored manner. |
"Frabricia Quill." Megan said in as firm a tone as she could manage while pointing her wand at the textbook and waiting for the Professor. she giggled as quitely as possible when she saw that the Book has sprouted feathers. |
Jacqueline got out her wand and pointed at her yellow ribbon...hopefully going to suceed in turning it into a yellow butterfly..."Butterflytagius" suddenly the ribbon turned into a butterfly and flew on carolyn's head. "oh sorry carolyn" I said in a giggly voice. "accio Butterfly!" I said..a little to loud. "thats ok butterflys don't really bother me" she said bored like. The butterfly landed into my hand. "ribbontagius" I got the ribbon and put it back in my hair. |
Curt listened intently to the teacher. Transfiguration was by far his best subject so he was thinking this would come extreamely easy for him. He looked aroud and then took out his wand and pointed it at the textbook and said "Frabricia Quill" firmly and watched as the book instantly morphed into a very nice quill. "Nicer than my very own quill." Curt muttered to himself, with a smile. He had read way ahead in his transfiguration textbook, he was hoping to catch up with the Professor later and ask some questions. |
Emily decided to change up what she was making. Grabbing a handful of toothpicks she began trying to turn them into a leaf. Over and over again the toothpick became a leaf, but a wooden one. At first she was upset that her spell wasn't going right, b ut then as she continued, she began to like the wooden leaves. Maybe she could paint them and decorate her wall with them. She decided to try to make wooden leaves, because then at least she could think she was doing things properly; and she knew she could make wooden leaves. So she said the spell and to her dismay, a regular leaf appeared. "I can't do anything right!" she exclaimed, throwing the leaf out a nearby window. She would keep practicing; eventually the charm would come out right. |

Taika Ai smiled. "Oh, you're a first year too. Well, I'm certainly older than the average first year," she said, "and this," she pointed to the coral, "is coral. It's a rather rare breed though. It grows where the light is the weakest and it is the colour of the water when it meets the sky. My... people... call it the Sky of the Water.. that is when it's roughly translated." She smiled softly and put the coral in her bag and retrieved another wooden stick. "Where did you orginiate from?" |
Jake sat up in his chair and decided he wanted a red rose for Heather. He taped his ink bottle and said "Frabricia Quill" just for practice. The ink bottle did nothing except it's top turned into a quill head. He tried it again and said"Frabricia Quill" and it finshed and it turned into a quill! "Yes! I did it!" He said under his breath. He then tapped it agian and said "Frabricia Red Rose" and it turned into a lightly dew sprinkled red rose." Beautiful" he said to himself"Just like heather." He smiled. |
