Daphne took out her bright pink quill and began writing down notes in her neat cursive handwriting. she thoughtlessly ruffled then smoothed out her fluffy quill. |
beth was wrighting fast but she was putting a lot of deatail in her work |
Aurora took notes the best she could. He heart wasnt really in this class a whole bunch. But she tried her best. Kennedy was feverishly writing away. She was a much better note taker than Aurora ever could be. Aurora knew if she missed something that her best friend would fill in the blanks for her. Aurora looked around the room, still wondering why RIpper hadnt shown up. She could have sworn she told him that class was going on. He had been sort of moody recently. Oh well. She thought to herself and went back to the task at hand. |
Jennifer quickly scribbled down notes about switching spells. The first year didn't want to miss any thing. Even though her notes were becoming less and less legible as she went down the parchment, she knew that she'd still be able to read them later. |
Amy’s hand began to cramp from writing so she set down her quill and began to look around the room. Trying to make it not so obvious she picked up her quill again; however, not writing at the moment. |
Jackie, who had been quiet the whole lesson, jotted down her notes as quickly as she could, making sure she got all the necessary details that she needed. She stopped once she was finished and looked around the room, looking at how her classmates were doing. |
Qaz was jotting down notes, not wanting to miss a word. Coming from the Muggle world, she was afraid to speak out yet. Best to wait until she was more sure of herself. |
Lauren stopped recording notes as the last person to give a response finished speaking and dropped her quill with a heavy sigh. Her hand hurt: it must have been out of shape from the idle summer before term. She used her left hand to massage her right palm, then her right wrist. They felt stiff, and every few seconds an electric pain shot down from her elbow. She winced slightly and wished she knew a spell to relieve such discomfort. But Lauren refused to let her grades {or Slytherin's house points} suffer just because she was doing so, so she plucked her wooden quill from the desk and resumed writing down her fellow students' responses. She could only hope Professor Pride would give them an assignment {preferrably an easy one} and release them soon - she needed a rest after a long day of classes and bad luck. |
Tae wanders in. He looked around. First class at hogwarts. He was excited and nervous. He decided to sit with a group of gryffindors. He sat down and took out a quill and parchment and start to catch up with the rest of the class. |
Andy was still writing notes but she found this class very interesting. It was after all her first class in school. She wrote a few more notes and began to re-read them. "What is that," she thought. "Goss, I need to work on my penmanship." |
once again Scott was board on transfiguration he hated the subject and didn't know why he bothered taking it but since he was here he might alwell do some work,he picked up his quill and began to write looking around the room animals all in cages ready to uses, Scott was very temped to let the big snake at the back free and hopefully might make the lesson a bit more fun. |
Chloe started copying down notes with her pretty baby blue quil, she had thought that Transfiguration would be more interesting than just copying down notes, but maybe we'll do something exciting later on, she thought trying to stay positive. |
:: Al was concentrating on what switching spells would be useful for. She never actually used a switching spell, but they did seem to be something she would use in the future. It probably would help her get out of trouble someday. Another Slytherin sitting next to her seemed bored. She herself was a bit bored too, but lessons always did that to her. The slytherin boy kept glancing at the cages. Al nodded at him. Almost to say, "if you do it, don't get caught." Then she got back to her notes. Switching Spells: If you stole an item and someone was looking for it. Switch it to something else until they leave you alone. Switch your attire if someone is after you and you need a disguise. Al wrote on her parchment. :: |
Jezz wrote down her notes as fast as she could, hoping that she'd be able to read them later. Then she looked around the room to see how everyone else was doing. |
Ashley wrote down her notes. Concentrating hard she didnt want to miss anything. Switching spells would come in handy one day. |
kim , who had been quiet the whole lesson, wrote down her notes as quickly as she could, making sure she got all the necessary details that she needed. She stopped once she was finished with her notes. |
Carolyn raised her hand. "Say if you forgot your quill for a class, you could use a switching spell to turn, say your hat or a spare bit of parchment, into the quill you need. You can use switching spells to change something from useless (such as an empty soda bottle) into something useful. However, it's not supposed to be used to turn something useless into something you want. Like you want a new set of robes that cost a 1000 galleons, so you just use a switching spell on your old ones, that's just abusing your magic." |
Scott continued writing down the note but then saw that a girl was starting at him he turned to face her and answer " i really want to but i don't think i should i mean that would be SO slytherin wouldn't it why don't you do it "Scott said with a cheeky smile. Scott wasn't normally the one for thinking about something that involved getting in trouble frankly Scott didn't really care he would only go home then somehow get sent back again due to his farther persistent adduie to him getting out of the house while he did his "work" which Scott had no idea what it was but it involved a lot of men in oddly shaped masks. |
Dani walks in and sets down with wand out. |
Sarah stayed quite the whole time, taking a back seat, She scribbled her notes carefully not missing anything. |
Dani kept taking notes some times accidentally writting it twice. |
Sophie as usual was sitting at her desk under the window sucking a sugar quill. She listened to the Proffesor very carefully but her parchment in fornt of her was covered in little drawings and scribbles, nothing that would help her revise. This was a typical Sophie moment; She didn't write much but always seemed to do quite well in her tests despite having written very few school realted sentences the entire year. Right now she was staring out at the grounds wondering what she would switch. |
Casey wrote down everything that was said. She didnt want to forget anything. This was her favorite class and was glad she was taking it. |
Maya jotted a few key words with her brown eagle quill, with metallic-grey ink. It was pretty.. pretty expensive, too. It was imported from Italy and was about 3 galleons and 2 sickles for one bottle. And she had stocked up on it so she was loaded. |

"As for the rest of you, good answers! Now we will begin the practical part of our lesson. Please take out your wand and come retrieve a small item from this box." As she spoke Danni attempted to pick of a medium size cardboard box up from behind her desk. A pain shot through her side and she quickly descided maybe her wand was the best way to go. She used the wingardium leviosa spell so place the box gently on her desk. "The incantation is 'Fabricia' then the item you want to change it to. So... Fabricia Hot Dog!" At those words the name plate on Danni's desk turned into a hot dog. With a quite 'Finite' the name plate changed back, "Well off you go!" OOC: Sorry for the delay, my house has been rather crazy the past couple of days. |
