Jaimine grabbed the stone railing when the stairs shifted "Great." she moaned and continued her climb to the second corridor, slowly.

Shadow and Louis were still travelling down the hallway, continuing with their version of catsoccer. The toy kept making the noise he liked so he paused ever now and then to do a little tailshake and the catsalsa. He even tried his paw at a catwaltz. Oooooo, this would definetly catch the lady kittens. He would be the envy of the catworld. He continued the to chase after the toy, it making a sudden sound with every stair it hit.

Louis flinched as they arrived the staircases somehow, he hated those stairs. They were confusing and they move all the time too, making him always land on the wrong floor. The way his friend was dancing was making him meow some more. They were cool like that. Moonwalking backwards before launching himself at that noisemaker to kick up the stairs, Louis continued the pursuit as a few cases moved around making 'meow' in annoyance because they'd have to wait for it to stop to continue playing and kicking this thing all over the castle.

Shadow meowed in a cheering kind of way. Who thought Louis had mad catskills? Catdudes, look out! Shadow and Louis, the hottest cats are in town. He sat down on the stairs as the case moved. These things made him slightly nauseaus. Not to mention, the breeze ruffled his fur. I mean what lady cat would want to see us bad boys with ruffled fur. It's such a turn off. Finally the staircase came to a halt and Shadow pawed the toy down the rest of the stairs and him and Louis continued with their noisy, yet cool escapade.

Niky's blue eyes searched over the railing of the moving staircases and downward. Maybe on one of those stairs had Talan or Tyson on them. She had been searching for her boyfriend all day. She began to climb the stairs to wherever they took her, looking over the railing for him. Where could he be? Maybe he was at the library studying. But she had already checked there earlier...

Her attention was pulled as she heard noises and meowing. She raised an eyebrow and looked over to spot a fuzzy cat and a baby rattle. "Aww! Did you get lost little guy?" she asked as she picked up the little furrball in her arms and petted it gently. She had always loved cats, and she had always owned one until recently. Just as she began to pet the cat lovingly the rattle made a noise again, and she looked down to discover there was yet another cat.

She furrowed her brow. Wasn't that Lua's cat? "Fat Louis?" she asked, quite puzzled.

Oh was this joyful to Louis in many ways. Best toy, best friend. All they were missing was a cool car, no wait that was a muggle movie. Hopping excitedly after his friend kicking the noisemaker back and forth until a big figure approached and picked up his friend. Out of defence, Louis purred in loudly to warn her, but he was scared she'd take his noisemaker when she looked at it. Biting the noisemaker into his mouth he skipped away down a random hallway, away from this girl. Who seemed very familiar.

Shadow felt somebody pick him up from behind. He meowed helplessly. There was no way to get free. Oh no! It's the fuzz!, he thought. Desperate he, bit the person's hand, getting free and ran down out into a corridor and Louis grabbed the toy. He never liked being picked up by people unless his owner said it was ok.

Niky watched the cat on the floor carefully. It was thinner than she remembered, and truthfully, she was surprised it was still alive after all those spells Lua had placed on him so it coud spy. She tilted her head as if that was enough to recognize it, but she didn't get the chance to since it had picked up the toy and began to run away down the hallway. At the same time, a yelp fell from her lips as well as the fuzzy cat fell from her arms. She hadn't meant to drop him, but he had bitten her and she had been surprised. Plus, it hurt!

Slightly upset as both kittens ran away with their toy, she suckled at the bite mark across her knuckle that now seemed to be bleeding. She had forgotten how sharp cat's teeth could be. She turned on the spot, forgetting about Talan momentarily as she began to walk back down to where she had come from, opposite from the crazy cats and their rattle.

Gemma Jewels began her ascent up the stairs absent mindedly, not quite sure where she was going, but allowing her feet to guide her. Slowly, she extracted a book from her beaten up, hand-me-down, blue book bag which was studded with hair clips, expertly bended to resemble animals. A bright sparkly pink one, folded into the shape of a unicorn, was glued down in the center, a memory of when she had discovered she was a witch, and made her hair clips gallop across her room, the unicorn being the first in her odd hobby. With a faraway smile, Gem sat down in the middle of the staircase, quite forgetting where she was and why. The golden eyed Ravenclaw girl gazed at the book that was now nestled in her lap. Acromontulas: Deadly Or Simply Misunderstood? Having reached a phase where she found all animals who crawled and crept, there were several like books in her bag, and her mind had already consumed a good portion of them. Those hairy bodied, long legs, multiple eyes! Could a being get anymore adorable? With her usual bright, and slightly insane, grin, Gem opened the book and immediately became absorbed in the world of spiders.

Angel was walking up the stairs lost in her train of thought. her father and she were on good terms but the boy who had helped her achieve those terms was no where in sight. Angel didn't know what had happened to Alex or where he was and what he was up to. All she knew was that despite the short time she knew him she was missing him and needed him more then ever. She shook the feelings that clouded her mind away and continued up the stairs walking to where ever it was that those stairs lead. Her shoes barely made a sound as she continued up the stairs in a dreamlike state. Angel felt herself collide with something hard. "Ouch!" She cried as she hit gem's bag with her ankle sending it and it's contents down the stairs. She immediately took her wand out and waves it before things got spread out and sent the books and quills sailing back into the girls bag. "Sorry." Angel said sitting down on the step next to the girl and rubbing ehr ankle as it throbbed. "I should have been watching where I was going." She mumbled hoping the girl hadn't taken the accident personally.

Nick found himself wondering around the castle.Joes face imprinted freshly in his mind now.He heard his own voice yelling at her.He stomache lurched.He kept walking,zipping his black jacket over his green shirt,his jacket matching with his black jeans and enties.Only his dark brown hair stood out along with his light brown eyes.He shooved his hands in his pockets.

He kept walking,thinking,wincing from the pain.He looked up at a girl who seemed older then himself,yet nice.He hurried up the steps."You alright?"He asked both of them,forcing a smile onto his face.

Gemma turned the page eagerly, her face alight as she read about the Acromontulas gentle disposition. Her eyes glanced at the authors name and she grinned inwardly. Rubeus Hagrid was an expert and made a wonderful read, for he seemed just and true to all animals. The Ravenclaw Second Year did not notice a girl walking her way, and was still reading as her bag was kicked uncermoniously down the stairs. It was only Angel's words that snapped her out of her reverie. Immediatley, the clumsy girl jumped to her feet, the sudden movement causing her to fall down a few steps, and blushed. "Sorry for being in the way!" She apologized, her golden eyes sparkling and blinking a few times, as if suddenly noticing where she was. As the other girl apologized she shook her head quickly, causing her black and blonde hair to whip her pale, and slightly freckled, face. "No, no. I suppose I shouldn't have been sitting in the middle of a staircase," she pointed out happily, her usual jubilant smile upon her pale pink lips. She stood up, dusted off her over-sized skirt and gave the girl an unexpected hug, offering her a licorice wand, having no use for them herself, and loving to see other people happy. "I'm Gem Jewels," she greeted, giving the girl a tight squeeze. Suddenly, there was a boy beside her and she jumped up a foot, not expecting the sudden appearance. "Hello!" Her breathy voice reached each corner, though it was rather faint, and her eyebrows were almost hidden in her bangs, giving her he appearance that she had just seen a ghost. "I'm Gem Jewels," she repeated.

Angel gasped as the girl fell down some steps and ran after her reaching her as she came to a halt. "Are you alright?" She asked her wondering if the poor dear had gotten hurt after such a tumble. "Oh no it's ok!" Angel said shaking her head, "I should have been watching where I was going!" she said pointing out here error as well. She was taken by complete surprise as the girl hugged and simply returned the hug not knowing what else to do! She accepted the licorice wand and smiled kindly at the girl she thought her quite funny and easy going when she thought about it. "Thanks, I'm Angel Black, a pleasure to meet you Gem." She said to her and turned her attention tot he boy who had arrived. "Oh, I'm ok and I think gem is although I'm not really sure." She said looking at Gem adn then looked up at the boy again "Angel Black." She said holding out her hand for him to shake and waiting for him to share his name as well. Gem seemed rather excited as she introduced herself and Angel couldn't help but somehow forget about Alex for a short period of time as she sat around with students who were lucky enough in the sense that this would not be their last year here at Hogwarts.

Nick nodded at both of the girls,he smiled at gem,then at angel.His shaggy dakr brown hair fell into his face and he brushed it up,slightly embarrsed."Its nice to meet you gem,and angel."He said shaking her hand."Im Nick,Nick Forsher."He said and introduced himself.He smiled weakly,forgetting his outburst at Joe back at the wall.He looked down at his shoes then back up,"So everything is alright then?"He asked unsure really of what to say to either of the girls.

Ponessa came down from the seventh floor onto the staircase. "oooookay..." She looked down at the moving staircases and determined the quickest way to get to the ground floor. She twisted down the staircases and several floors down one moved beneath her. "Woah!" She gripped the banister as the staircase shifted. When it stopped she steadied herself and kept moving. She eventually reached the ground floor, her cloak flapping behind her.

Joe stood steady on the staricase as it moved. She looked around the deep well of stiars and saw Nick talking to a couple girls just below her. Her face was quite neutral as she climbed the stairs. the owlery was just out side this stair case. She didn't look back at Nick-- even though she wanted to say something to him- as she left the well of stairs. Part of her want to run back and tell him to follow her.

Gem smiled at the kind girl, nodding her head vigorously as if a muggle bobble-head on the dashboard of a vehicle. After a moment, she released Angel and pumped the boy's hand vigorously. As they inquired about her health, she merely giggled, shaking her head again, causing her hair to all around her face. "No, no, no! I'm fine!" In fact, she was quite used to it, taking several terrible falls a day. It was quite a wonder that she had survived thus far with only the memory of a broken ankle, and some romoured, brain damage though those closest to Gemma would argue that she was naturally a bit... odd. Suddenly, there was a vociferous croaking noise emitting from her stocking. Bulging from her Ravenclaw blue sock was a cantaloupe sized lump, giving her the appearace that she was attempting to grow a third leg. The odd pertrubance was soon brought out of the dark as her hands shot down her stocking and pulled out an enormous violet toad. "How are you, Mudiwa? Enjoy your nap?" There was an answering blink of the eyes and she nodded, stroking his skin. "Dreamed of teddy bears again. Wonder what that means..." She nestled her toad in her arms and scooped what appeared to be a ball of dust off of the floor. However, when the ball of dust gave a feeble hoot, it was made clear that it was indeed, an owl of about fifteen years. "Pip! How'd you get down there!" She explained, and the owl pecked her head affectionatley.

Antwone trucked up the moving staircase as it shifted from his destination towards the library to another corridor. Great! Now I have to wait. Ahead, near the middle of the staircase Antwone could see two Ravenclaw girls who were conversing between each other, one of which he recognized as being Gem. I haven't seen her in ages. Gem was a second year, and thus, had different classes from him so he did not get to see her much aside from the Great Hall and common room but she was not in either place for ages.

"Gem! Heya!"

Gem Jewels was in the middle of comparing Mudiwa's teddy-bear dream to one that she had a few weeks ago about flying monkeys when she heard another shout, causing her to pivot on her heel, and almost sending her crashing down the stairs again. For a moment, she studied the boy, smiling like a chessire cat, socializing not coming naturally to her though she was a most friendly character. After a moment, Pip gave her an encouraging peck and she snapped out of her vacant state. "ANTWONE!" She shouted suddenly, brightening up at once. She was always eager to see one of her own house, especially one of such a favorable disposition, but was in no way prejudice to other Houses. Somehow she managed to not fall as she rushed towards the First year, giving him one of her caring, yet slightly random hugs. "How are you? Are you liking Hogwarts?" She inquired, blinking a few times and twirling her hair ditzily around her pinkie finger. "OH! You made the Quidditch team!" She exclaimed, smacking her forehead, which probably wasn't the best idea seeing as she seemed to to need each and every brain cell to store the excessive knowledge she absorbed from books, Professors, and her insane grandmamma. "I saw you at practices but I've never congratulated you!" After a moment's pause she reached into her book bag and extracted a pink cupcake, studded with edible sparkles and adorned with a sugar unicorn. "Cupcake? I made them myself," she beamed. Gem loved to bake, though sadly could not consume any of her sweets, sense a dum-dum usually got her unsafely hyper. A cupcake would be a death sentence seeing as half of a chocolate frog on her eight birthday had gotten her to believe that she could fly, resulting in a broken nose that was promptly fixed by her mother.

Antwone almost fell back as Gem gave him a great big hug.

"Hogwarts is interesting enough, I'd say," Antwone began as he took her cupcake and ate it as soon as he received it. Hogwarts was certainly "interesting enough" but that was an understatement. It had been huge with many secrets and so many events going on. "I saw you made the reserves too. I got to play in the third session. Made the first goal and everything! Where were you at the game? You could have shouted pointers off on the bench like I did for the first two sessions."

Jai ran after Jack who obviously thought it was funny to steal her poster. She sprinted after him as he ran off the stairwell and onto the corridor, Jai stopped to looked where the kitten was going and wondered if there was a detour. She continued up but the stairs began to move. Her eyes opened with fright and she gripped the stone railing, the stairs finally stopped at the other side and she slowly made her way up and unto the other corridor.

Jack looked back an didn't see Jai following behind him, he put the poster on the floor and meowed loudly. Since she didnt appear he pick the poster back up and went down the hall

Gem was about to respond when a boy came dashing passed them almost bumping Antwone over the staircase.

"Well, that was rather rude," he said to the boy as he ran off, "Well Gem, it was nice talking to you but I must be headed to the Library to complete my Charms homework. I'll see you around."

“Nice to meet you to Nick,” Angel said good naturedly as the boy introduced himself. As he asked again about their well being Angel looked at Gem and nodded slightly, “Yeah I think everything is fine now.” She said as she watched the girl curiously. She watched her as she shook the young boys hand in a rather comical way that Angel couldn’t help but smile at; she had never met such an optimistic person before. “Ok good,” Angel said still keeping an eye on the girl in case something was still up. It was never fun to fall down the stone steps it was rather painful and the after effects were just as bad as the fall! Angel nearly jumped as she heard a croak coming at the girl’s feet, looking down at the source of the sound she realized there was an oddly large bump bulging out of Gem’s foot as though she had another limb. She watched her with interest as Gem reached down into her stocking and pull out a rather large toad. Angel blinked several times and looked at the girl in an amused way as she spoke to the amazingly purple toad and conversing with him a though she understood every ‘word’ he was saying. Angel had never met a stranger and yet very optimistic person before. Angel smiled widely and had to stop herself from laughing so not to hurt the girl’s feelings but what she found funny was not the girl or the toad but the tiny owl the young girl had just scooped up from the ground. “You’re owl is adorable!” She said to her as she moved forward to pet it with her index finger upon its small head. Angel nearly jumped a mile and this time fell down the stairs herself as Gem greeted the boy who had called out to her. As she tumbled down the first two steps of her fall she grabbed onto the railing to stop herself and sighed in relief as she pulled herself up again a rather nasty throb on her side as she made her way back to where Gem was standing alone once more with Nick nearby. Rubbing her side Angel looked at the two thinking about how lucky they were to be staying here longer when a thought popped into her head. “Would you two like to go to Hogsmeade?” She asked them, “Drinks are on me what do you say?” She asked not knowing why but wanting to talk to these younger students whom she knew she would never see again within a few months.

Stuart was running down the stairs as fast as he could. He was meeting up with one of his friends but he had fallen asleep in the common room. All of a sudden Stuart tripped on one of the stairs and started to fall. Luckily he was close to the ground floor but tht didnh't stop it from hurting. As he landed he heard a crack in his leg and was unable to stand up.

Cameron was just happening to be going down to his common room when he heard a noise. it sounded as if someone was falling down the stairs. Looking down he saw a boy laying down on the ground holding his leg. Running down toward him he got there. "Hey. So your not able to walk right?" he asked. the boy he wanted to help but had to make sure he couldnt walk before he did anything,
