Ponessa's laughter faded softly. "Actually..." She bit her lip, still smiling. "I do study occlumency and such....but that's not how I know your name." Her smile came back. She loved puzzling people by telling them their names when she'd never met them. "I have very good hearing, I'm very observant...very curious. I like to know things." She'd left out alot, since she was a bit unsure about this girl. "I assure you, I know nothing more than the simple things about you."

Diabolica smiled. At least Ponessa didn't know all the details of her life.... she wondered if she knew that she was a Parseltounge, and that was why she looked a bit nervous, even if she was smiling. "Well, that's at least good...one person shouldn't know another person's whole backstory....unless they are related....even then not all secrets should be shared," Her eyes glinted in the dark of the corner. "But I guess we're all distantly related.......well, it's nice to meet you Ponessa, I've only met two other Ravenclaws before, mostly I only know Slytherins, but the Ravenclaws seem to be nice...." she smiled and extended a hand.

Ponessa still had one arm around ryan, but clenched the other hand briefly. She'd always been a bit of a germaphobe, but shook her hand anyway. "I quite agree. But, then again, it is it depends only on how much one knows before one can place trust, eh?" She chuckled, she was talking in riddles again. "Sorry...bad habit. I'm really not as untrustworthy as I seem, i'm just..." She searched carefully for the right word ".....quiet." She put it rather bluntly.

"Ah, so true my friend, so true....you don't seem untrustworthy to me," Diabolica said. "To most people, anyway, I seem like I could never be trusted, should never be trusted......to me, you seem just like any other person meeting another person for the first time. But, yes, me.....that's part of the reason why I have select few friends.....I think I give some people the creeps, the way they look at me in the hallways, you'd think I was going to whip out my wand and preform the Cruciatus on a first year...." she shook her head wearily. "So yes, I only have a few freinds....but they're good ones. I think it's quality, not quanity, that counts." She smiled.

Ponessa nodded. "Indeed. Well, you seem alright to me...What amazes me is that I feel no sixth year/ first year awkwardness." She looked to the side and tilted her head "Then again I am awkwardness." She chuckled.

Diabolica laughed. "No way," she chuckled. "I'm way more awkward than you.." she stopped and thought about it for a moment. "You know, the fact we're arguing over who is more awkward is awkward...." she laughed.

Ponessa did not reply at first...If only she'd seen the way she is in the common room. "Actually I was trying to reduce the awkwardness of it...." She became a bit confused with the situation and stopped talking here to prevent any more confusion.

Ryan turned to look at Ponessa, who seemed to be having a cosy chat.
'Er, help?' she asked impatiently, although with a weak grin on her face. There was a sudden strange sensation, much like the one she had experienced coming out of the Hospital Wing - she had suddenlt felt alright again. Of course, that was followed by feeling worse, but Ryan had remembered something, and was too anxious to check it out to care. She walked slowly, almost mechanically away from Ponessa, and flung herself down quickly with a new book - Maguses, by some unknown author. She got to the chapter on metamorphmaguses.
Ryan sat there, reeling. Everything was becoming clear now - her mother had been a metamorphmagus. And her father - her father was prejudiced against them, the very reason he had let her grow up while teaching her about metamorphmagi as "them", never "metamorphmagi" or "you". Her father had driven his wife away with his prejudice - she remembered the looks a group of Slytherins had given her earlier, when the streaks in her hair had changed colour - and she could be going the same way.
'I've got to leave...' Ryan whispered. Her voice was unsteady, but sounded quite sure. She stood up. 'I've got to leave,' she said, a bit louder, before racing off.

"Ah, well, sometimes it's hard not to have a strange conversation..." Diabolica said wisely. "Sometimes things just slip out, and, even if it is a bit strange, it's usually who you really are inside....unless it's something you said completly on accident. Happens to me all the time....it's completly normal to have an strange chat.....starts with 'Hello' and ends with saying each other are strange....yes, that's a strange chat..." she laughed.

Chris looked at Mia. He was mesmerised - she was just too beautiful.
He scribbled something more on to his parchment and then turned back to her.
"So, Mia", he said. "Who's your lucky guy?"

Mia looked up and blinked. This guy was fast! "No one, at the moment," she said, still looking down at the parchment. She looked at the girl sitting next to him but didn't say anything. Maybe she was his girlfriend. Oh, well.
She looked outside, it was the perfect day for a Hogsmeade visit. "Aren't you going to Hogsmeade with your, um, friend?" she asked him.

Ponessa jumped a bit as Ryan broke away from her. ".....alright." She turned to Diabolica with a bit of a confused expression. ".....Indeed." She was thinking of a hundred different situations at the moment and tried to swallow all of what had been said.

Cressida Lupin yawned tiredly as she entered the Library. She sat at a table and pulled out a book on Werewolves. Then, before she could even begin to read it, she fell asleep.

Chris looked at her in surprise.
"No one?", he asked in surprise and then thought to himself, 'Yes! Thank you god!'
When she mentioned Sana, Chris started laughing.
"Oh, sorry about that, Sana's not just my friend", he said grinning. "She's my sister!"
He turned to Sana.
"Hey sis! This here's Mia", he said and then turned to Mia. "Mia, meet my dear loveable sister - Sana."
He wondered whether she might have thought otherwise...

Sana poked on his nose gently with her quill while he laughed.
She turned toward the girl named Mia, Mia??sounds like meow..she thought.
"Hi Mia, glad to meet you" she smiled at her pleasantly and continued,
"Yeah I'm his dear loveable sister and he's my dear loveable jealousable brother" she laughed,
"Right, Chris????" she winked and trying to control her laugh.

Chris grinned at Sana.
"Yeah, I'm jealous sometimes", he said.
He turned back to Mia.
"Well, there you have it - she's my sister. I know we don't look it, but we're actually twins. It's just that I'm metamorphmagus. And that helps a ruddy bit lot", he said and sniggered.

" A metamorphmagus?" Mia said, brightening up, "That's so cool!" she exclaimed. "I've tried a few experiments at it my self. So far I've only managed to change my eye color," she sighed. She changed her eye color from green to a lovely blue shade and then back and smiled at the two of them.

Sana nodded at Chris and looked around to make sure Madam Rowena was not there.
"Yeah, very precious nature of Chris. You know, I like it, actually" she beamed.


"It's okay" she replied at Mia.

Sana watching Mia with utmost curiosity. Because by the way of Chris's look, realising she could be the one whom he met in the Owlery on the other day.
The girl seemed quite nice and looking good too.
Actually she didn't move so close with any Slytherin girl so far.
"Oh, Thank you. It's my Dad's choice. He always loves the short and sweet names" she smiled and reached into her Bag.
she took out some Chocolate frogs.
"So Mia, what about Chcoloates. Help yourself. I bought them yesterday in Honeydukes." she held his chocolate filled hand towards her and Chris.
"I have your fav. item too Chris" she giggled at him.


"Chris's right. We're identical twins. So we need some kind of change to our appearances. Me too a metamorphmagus but I dont have much interest on that. I'm pretty satisfied with my own appearance, what do you say?" she asked at both of them who were listening her long talk.

"I like short and sweet names too. My parents named me Amelia since we're part French but I like Mia better." she said, nodding.

Mia accepted the chocolate from Sana, "Thanks. Chocolate is my life! My mom keeps telling me off for my chocolate fetish, she's really health conscious and stuff, but I say chocolate is healthy!" she said smiling and taking a bite of the chocolate frog. "I couldn't go down to Hogsmeade this weekend. All this home work really gets to you," she said glaring at her quill and parchment.

Mia nodded at Sana, "Your really pretty" she said. "I think I don't look too bad," she said, answering Sana's question with a shrug. "But I wonder," she said looking at Chris, "I hope this is your original appearance" and grinned.

Chris looked at her with a smile. He took his chocolate from Sana and then turned back to Mia.
"Good to see that you both are getting along well!", he said.

He turned to Mia.
"Yeah, well, I don't get to go down to hogsmeade too much either. Transfiguration is back-breaking, but then, sometimes, sweet lil sis here helps me with my homework", he said and winked at her.
He bit off a bit of his chocolate.

"Well, techinically speaking, I don't have an original appearance, but then I could make this original if you like it", he said. A moment later he realized what he had just said and immediately pretended to be scribbling notes on his parchment.
After a moment more, he couldn't pretend anymore, so he turned back to Mia.
"Well, that about my appearance, but yours I like. You look gorgeous", he said and then turning to Sana, he said,"She is, isn't she sis?"
He turned back to Mia.
"Well, I guess you must be hearing that all the time though."

Sana was determined to finish her homework in between their Chat. She looke up at Mia and said,
"Yeah I agree with you Mia. By the latest studies, chocolate can reduced the risk of Heart problems. Dont get surprised but I'm an avid follower of Muggles. Their Newspaper flashed this news some two months ago, I think."

Before Finishing her chocolate she was unrapped another.
"I never missed my chance to go to the Hogsmead. This time I have had a good company. Yeah do you know Ryan the Gryffindor Quidditch captain?" but soon she realised that it was not the best moment to mention him in front of Chris as she bit her lips.
She slighly blushed at Mia's comment about her.
"Oh, Thank you so much!! I knew about that by the glaring of boys" she winked at her not knowing what would be the girl's reaction.

Sana nodded at Chris's statement,
"Yeah, I did for him, Though I'm not like Hermionish..but I love to do for my dear sweet brother" she was packing up her things.
When Chris asked about Mia's beauty,
"Oh..yeah! She looks gorgeous. I can see that in your eyes Chris." she giggled, finished her pack up.

It wasn't as though he hated the guy, he did like him. The point was, he didn't want competition...
"Yeah, Ryan's great to be around with", he said to Mia. "Are you on the quidditch team by the way?"

Mia just smiled at Sana's last comment. Not really knowing how to react. She needed some fresh air - it was getting hot!

"Yeah, Quidditch players are fit and they need tobe. But that doesn't mean others are not upto their level" she looked Chris in the corner of her eyes, making sure he ramained in the same composed mood.
She continued,
"Okay guys, better I gotta go. I feel so sleepy and tired. So have a great time" she smiled, deciding to leave them alone since they were in a great rhythm.
"All the best Chris" she whispered in Chris's ear as she stood up.
