In front of the front desk counter there are long oak tables, like the ones in the Great Hall, that span the length of the library. However, these are surrounded by bookcases laden with texts. Some students begin sitting down on the bench and taking out their homework ready to get started on their work. Others obtain large reference texts before settling down in their spots. Others have formed small study groups and begin conversing in a soft whisper about their newest assignment.

Ponessa bit her lip"...oh my." She contemplated the situation for a moment before withdrawing the wooden box again. She pulled out another bottle and a piece of cloth. She spilled out a bit of the emrald liquid onto the cloth and held it up to her nose. Hopefully this wouldn't take long, as she was getting a bit nervous.

Mia came into the library, clutching 4 huge books in her arms, close to her. She had to give those back but first needed some information for an essay. She passed table after table, not paying attention to the people sitting there. She took a seat at a table which was relatively empty. There was only a boy and a girl sitting there of what she noticed, she didn't pay attention to their faces or anything. She opened her book and started reading.

Star entered the library, a thick, dusty potions book under one arm, and several smaller potions book under her other arm. Walking over to a seat whilst trying not to drop them, she blew her long, straight, blonde hair out of her face.
Reaching a table, she put the books down as quietly as possible before sitting down herself and reaching into the small bag she'd got with her and removing parchment, quill and ink before flipping open the big book and beginning to make notes from it on the parchment.
