"Yeah, I can relate," Excelsior said, rolling his eyes. "There are certainly other things I'd rather be doing than studying, but what can you do? Believe it or not, I have actually participated in some class discussion and homework the last few days, shocking isn't it? I guess I must really be bored." He sighed and started combing through some dusty looking books. |
Evangeline stepped into the library, her bag slung over her right shoulder. Her dark hair was down and she seemed to be struggling slightly with the weight of her bag. When she finally reached the library study tables Evangeline stopped surprised by the sight she had in front of her. Grinning, she made her way to the table where Sarah, Excelsior and Clifford were. "Now isn't this surprising" - she smirked at them sliding her bag onto the table. She smiled at Sarah and Excelsior and turned to Cliff. "How is your arm?" -she asked him raising her eyebrow. |
"Hey there, Evangeline," Excelsior greeted, surprised. It truly was uncanny how Clifford and Evangeline kept materializing around him everywhere he went, and now Sarah seemed to be part of that group, too. Crazy and uncanny. "Now our little group is complete once again. It's really funny, isn't it, how we always seem to end up all together somehow? Like there's some kind of strange magic involved in this that we don't even know about." |

Sarah chuckled. "You really must be bored,"Sarah said to Excelsior. "I cant imagine myself sitting in a room, dicussing well-you know what I mean,"Sarah shrugged, bitting her lower lip. "Oh Hey Evangeline,!"Sarah greeted the Slytherin Happily. |
Clifford grinned at his friend. "Are you serious? You're actually here to study. Never thought you had it in you, mate." He said raising an eyebrow, he held up the book he was reading, making the cover visible. "I'm only here for the Quidditch section." He turned when he heard Evangeline's voice. "Now, I'm not suprised to see you here, Eva." He said smirking, he instictively raised a hand back to arm. "It's okay.. I've got a bit of a nasty bruise though.." |
"Wow," Excelsior commented in appreciation, smirking. "If this is what happens when you get involved with a girl, I'm probably better off on my own!" He winked in Sarah's direction. "Now, would you do a thing like that to a boy?" |
Sarah laughed and then caught Excelsior's eye. "Yes!"Sarah replied grinning. "Thats how we should treat you guys,"Sarah joked, closing her book. |
Evangeline nodded at Excelsior. "Maybe there is some kind of magic involved" - she shrugged sitting next to Cliff and smiling back at Sarah. She shook her head grinning and looked at Cliff. "And you call yourself a Quidditch player" - she sighed playfully. "You can't even handle a small bruise" - she smirked before turning back to Excelsior and chuckling. "I'm with Sarah in this one" - she told him winking at Sarah. |
Excelsior looked at Sarah in mock horror. "Women," he said in a slightly amused tone. "I see your point, Clifford. Can't live with em, can't live without em. What can you do?" |
Clifford shook his head and put down his book, he had a feeling his wasn't going to get much reading done. "I've had far worse injuries, you're right. I think this one hurts more because it came from you and not a bludger.. you know, the shock and all." He grinned and looked back at Excelsior. "See, I've been right all along." |
Sarah grinned at Evangeline. "Men!"Sarah teased Excelsior back. "See now we have to keep yopu guys onyour toes, What say Eva?"Sarah looked at Evangeline grinning, crossing her arms. |
"True, but I'm sure it's all worth the pain," Excelsior said a bit wistfully. He was in a somewhat nostalgic mood today, a bit mellow. Hearing what Sarah had just said, he changed his tone. "Keep us in line? More like the other way around, I would say. You women are really hard to control!" He winked. |
Evangeline looked back at Clifford with a puzzled but look on her face. "I wonder what do you want.." - she told him smirking. "You're not trying to make me feel guilty are you?" - she asked him raising her eyebrow. She looked at Sarah and grinned. "I say that they keep complaining about us but deep down, can't live without us" - she told her smirking. She turned back to Excelsior. "We are hard to control? Maybe, but that's because we don't want to be controlled" - she told him with a little wink. |
Clifford shook his head, "Nah, I don't want you to feel guilty, I'm just making sure you are prepared for revenge. Because I'm gonna get it.. soon." He turned away from her, a smirk still on his face. He looked back and forth between Sarah and Excelsior and couldn't help notice they seemed to be getting along very well. He raised an eyebrow at Excelsior before looking away. |
"Yeah, I'm starting to learn that," Excelsior said. "Being around all of you is teaching me so much stuff I never knew before. This is really the first time I've really been around kids my own age, so I find the whole thing kind of - amazing." Excelsior had never really found out for sure if Sarah had a boyfriend or not. He was too shy to ask her that question yet. |
"Ah You did not just say that,"Sarah looked at Excelsior in mock horror now. "I say You guys complain a lot,"Sarah grinned, winking at Excelsior as she brushed her hair back. |
Excelsior laughed. "If we complain, it's onlly because you women have driven us to it," he said playfully, winking. |
Evangeline smirked. "Oh, I will be ready for revenge. Don't worry" - she told him with a little wink. She looked at Sarah and Excelsior and smiled looking at Cliff's book. Looking up she saw them exchanging winks and leaned closer to Cliff. "Do you think we should leave them alone?" - she asked him in a low and playful tone looking up at Sarah and Excelsior |
Excelsior heard what Evangeline said to Clifford. Startled, he said, "No, no, everything is cool." He paused for a moment, thinking. "But maybe you guys would like to be alone?" |
Clifford's stomach gave a small flip as Evangeline leaned closer, he had grown used to this and managed to ignore it. He looked back at Excelsior and Sarah, they seemed to be arguing playfully. He turned back to Evangeline, and lowered his own voice. "Are you crazy? This is great! I don't want to miss it." He whispered in her ear. Clifford smirked at Excelsior and shook his head. "Nah, we're okay here." He said louder now. He glanced at Evangeline before tipping his chair backwards. |
Sarah had heard Evangeline and too.She blushed a bit."No way, stay!"Sarah told them, agreeing with Excelsior."In fact I have to leave now, Have to send mum a letter,"Sarah smiled as she got up and waved them goodbye. "Bye you guys," |
"Nice talking to you again, Sarah," Excelsior waved and smiled. "Enjoy the rest of the day." He was actually relieved. He was uncomfortable with the way things seemed to be headed. |
Evangeline giggled when Clifford whispered in her ear. "Hey, that tickles" - she told him still giggling. She looked up at Excelsior and smiled. "Cliff's right. We're okay here" - she told him. She waved goodbye at Sarah and smirked at Excelsior but said nothing. Instead she turned to Cliff. "I think I scared her away" - she chuckled. She turned again to Excelsior. "Sarah's great, isn't she?" - she asked him trying to make it sound like a casual question. |
Excelsior couldn't think of anything to say at the moment, he only sat smiling and thinking. The last thing he wanted was for Sarah to be scared away, had he done that? He hoped not, he really enjoyed her company. |
