In parts of the library there are numerous seating areas where large, puffy arm chairs are arranged in small groups. The soft firelight from a nearby fireplace warms the students who are reading quietly with a book in their laps, some close their eyes hoping to get a few minutes of rest before their next class, and other's simply chat in soft, hushed tones. | |

Clifford gave a sigh of relief, it seemed like she had calmed down, for now at least. What was with girls and their mood swings? "That's okay." He grinned. "It must be hard work being nice all the time, but you really are good at giving advice." He looked thoughtful for a moment, thinking about her offer. Grinning he shook his head. "You know, I get enough of that from my own Mother.. I dont need it from anyone else. The sneaking up on me is okay."

Clifford remembered the incident with Cora and nodded slowly. "Yeah.. I think she probably would. Evangeline does have abit of a temper on her at times." He grinned fondly, he wouldn't want her to have been any other way. He sat thoughtful for a moment before looking back up at Olivia. "So.. how was your walk with that guy? What was his name? Ben?"

Clifford looked a little shocked, he hadn't really been expecting Olivia to show an interest. "You do?" His face brightened up. "That's cool. Did you know I'm Chaser on the Slytherin team?" He asked proudly. He immediately wished he hadn't mentioned this, after all, the team hadn't done very well this term.

Clifford's face dropped a little, as he remembered the previous matches. "Don't worry, you didn't really miss much." He shrugged. "Our Captain had a broken arm and couldn't play.. it was a bit of a disaster actually. But hopefully next year will be better."
