In a dark corner of the library there are a few students congregated in the shadows of the bookcases. Their voices are soft and they conduct themselves in a polite manner.They are simply those who enjoy the darkness. A few are doing homework scribbling away on parchment, a few sitting in the large arm chairs reading a book by the light of their wands. Sophia Black walked into the library and headed over to the library corners. There was not much to do, seeing that she didn't know many people. Actually, she didn't know any. Except maybe one or two. Oh well. It didn't matter. She was a solitary person. She'd always dealt with things on her own. Why stop now? She collapsed onto an armchair sideways and stared at the fire with her emerald eyes, all the while braiding and unbraiding her black and purple hair.

Belle tossed her stuff onto the floor by her favorite chair and plopped down into the chair. She stretched and relzed for a few minutes before pulling out her sketchbook and bag of pencils. She flipped to a free page and pulled out a regular pencil. She tapped the eraser against her chin, trying to think of something to draw.
