Belle yawned and looked back up at the ceiling, not really paying attention to what anyone was saying. "Pink? I want a blue one." She said, looking between the two boys. "Shayna, darling, come here." She said, stretching her hand out so the cat could see the treats in her hand.

Shayna pranced over to Belle hand and eat some of the treats, licking her hand, affectionately. She stretched and put her front paws on the chair, as if trying to get up in the chair.

"Want up here?" Belle asked the kitten and waited till Shayna 'nodded' before reaching down and picking her up.

Cora slipped into the library, wearing a white dress which, luckily, didn't clash with her excentric pink hair. She spotted Jamie, the older Ravenclaw boy who Bucky had introduced her to, and wandered over to him.

"Hi." She said, smiling, and sitting down in an armchair, waving at his companions.

Jamie glanced up at the newcomer. He blinked for a moment, trying to place a name to her. She looked familiar though he couldn't tell from where because he was sure he'd never seen anyone with pink hair until Bucky. And this girl certainly wasn't Bucky.

"Hullo," he said amiably anyway. He could use some friends for when Kemma and Juno were busy and all.

She certainly ddin't seem bashful.

Miranda made her way to the corners of the library, in search of a Charms book that she needed for some research before class started. Maybe it was there somewhere. Miranda passed a group of people in her search for the book.

Her black and red hair seemed almost one color in the darkness of this corner. Miranda made her way all the way down the row before she stopped and slipped a pair of red-rimmed glasses on her face. She scanned the titles of each book carefully, some of which she ran a finger across to double check. No results. The book was not there. Miranda sighed and decided to go back and search in another place.

She passed the group of students again, this time looking them over more carefully from the corner of her eye. She noticed one had a kitten. Miranda loved cats and she could not resist walking over to her and saying, "Your kitten is so adorable."

Belle put hers legs over the armrest again, completely ignoring the girl. She didn't get along with girls that well. She shrugged and looked over at Jamie, rolling her eyes a bit.

Shayna stared at the girl and meowed. Shrugging her little kitty shoulders, she walked in cirlcles before finding the right spot to lay down on Belle's stomach. She layed down and purred, also ignoring the new girl.

Belle tensed up slightly as another new girl came. "Thanks." She mumbled. She fidgeted slightly and looked over at Jamie. Her eyes telling him that she didn't like all the people in here. She looked back at the other girl who had told her she had a cute kitten, willing her to go away.

Cora blinked at Jamie's companion, a little put out that the girl was ignoring her. She sighed a little and then turned back to the older boy.

"I'm Cora-Blue Latiffa. You probably don't remember me." She smiled and brought out a bag of chocolate chip cookies, popping on into her mouth and offering them around the group. Cookies were Cora's weakness.

Ian walked towards the library's corners with a book he'd just got from the bookshelves in his hand.He'd found it by chance while looking in the 'Potions' section.He knew there was no way he'd be able to read it cover to cover but at least he could give it a shot.

He found an empty couch a bit far from the others and sat down.Within three minutes, Ian had read the first couple of pages of the book.

Jamie hadn't really realized how popular the Library Corner's had gotten. He could tell his friends stories about when Ashlie first made it and only she and her close friends hung out there. He couldn't exactly figure out why people would come to the dark to read though; he came because he liked to hide in the dark himself.

It appeared that everyone loved Shayna. She probably deserved her own fanclub.

"She is cute, isn't he?"


As Jamie was a male, he had his dense moments, he glanced at Bells wide eyes and couldn't decypher them. She looked... urging him... to do what....? OH! Maybe she wanted him to introduce her.

"Hi," he said, waving to the new girl and the pink haired Cora(l). "This is Bella. And I'm Jamie."

Then he turned to smile at Bells.

Jamie chewed the inside of his lip, looking as if he was trying to remember her. And.. he was drawing a blank, kind of. He wanted to think he met her at the ball but... again, Bucky was the only pinkhaired girl he'd ever known.

"Did... we meet at the ball?" he asked cautiously, chancing it.

"Hi Bella!" Cora said, enthusiastically, waving at the girl who apparently wasn't the most sociable of girls. She was still holding out the bag of cookies, yet nobody so far had taken one. She bit her lip in concentration, wandering whether she had come on too strong. But surely...offering cookies was merely a sign of friendlyness. She shrugged and then turned to Jamie, who had spoken.

Beaming, Cora nodded. "Yes! We did. You and Bucky were...um...sitting on the floor, and she introduced us."

Belle groaned and slapped her forehead. "Thanks, Jamie." She said, grumbling. She looked over at the the other girl and tried to force a smile, but it came out like more of a grimace. "I...uh..like you...hair." She said, trying to be nice.

Cora grinned. "Thanks..." She said, tweaking a lock of her rather intence hair. "It used to be brown, but I'm a metamorphmagus, see? So I felt like a change..."

She smiled and glanced at Jamie.

"Cookies!" Jamie suddenly noticed the bag of cookies and dived his hand in. "I love cookies. Schmoop brought us cookies again," he said. "He's this House Elf. I've never seen him but he periodically brings us cookies. He's really great."

Pausing to remember what Cora was talking about, Jamie nodded. "I remember that now. I can't remember why we were even on the ground, but I remember it." He beamed, happy to know where he'd met the girl.

Turning to Bells, he smiled. "You're welcome." He was happy to be of assistance to his new friend.

"Metamorphmagus?" the boy asked, eyes wide and brows high. He was impressed. "You must be pretty rare."

Belle groaned once against and slapped her forehead, sliding down further into the chair. She sighed and shook her head, wanting to throw a glare over her shoulder at Jamie. "Nah, that would be mean." She thought to herself. She leaned her head back against the armrest and put her hand over her eyes.


Shayna jumped into Jamie's lap once again and paced around in cirles, trying to find the perfect spot to lay down. Once she found it, she plopped down and got comfty, wrapping her tail around her body.

Jamie tilted his head in confusion at Bells, wondering why she'd be slapping her head. He'd heard horror stories about Cora stalking people, but she didn't seem that bad. He was surprised, really. (OoC: =P). Smiling down at the kitten, he scooped her up in his hands, pulling her up to her up to his face, cooing and smiling, nuzzling her fuzzy nose. "Haaaiii there, Shayna."

"Oh shnap, Jamie. We have to go talk to the headmistress. About that THING. Remember?" She said, sitting up in her chair. She looked at him, her eyes pleading. "Please play along." She mouthed to him. "Pleeeeeaaase." She looked over at Cora and once again, tried to smile.

"My friend has a pink pygmy puff. Poor thing is a male. But he's fun to take swimming. Haha. Nicolas nodded. "Yup. that's her." He told Jamie.

Pink male pygmy puff? That must be so weird. Nicolas had never like the colour pink. It was too...argh. His favourite kept changing from time to time. Currently it is blue and turqoise. Some time ago he had like green and before that purple. But he got sick of them. Must be really weird to be pink. The poor pygmy puff.

"Sergeant Gus Gus is very cute." He said looking at the ferret who was still clinging onto his legs.

Brendon walked to the library cornors with a book he had picked out. He sat down and opened it. He actually hated reading but there was nothing eles to do or no one to talk to. He started to read it then quickly closed it. "Boring." He said slaming the book. He put it down and just looked around.

Fabala delicately skipped to a random bookshelf and pulled a random interesting looking book out.

"I finally found the library! Lalala," she hummed quietly to herself.

Being such a bookworm and avid reader, finding the library was the best thing that happened to Fabala so far. For her, it was like a pirate finding hidden treasure. Books were her treasure. It also helped that she had just downed two iced coffees less than an hour beforehand. Her energy level was HIGH.

"Aha!" she said, trying to keep her voice down but still sound excited. "Big comfy chair to read a big pretty book. Oooh, magical creatures! Library roullette is soo much fun!"

And, she sat down and began to read, apparently, a book on magical creatures. She hummed some random tune very quietly to herself while skimming the pages, occassionally looking up at fellow students. She always felt her best after a good caffeine rush.

Brendon looked at the girl who had just came in. She seemed kind of hyper but he need not pay that much attention to her. He figured that he mine as well try to read some of his book. He opened it back up and against his will started to read.

Katelyn slipped into the library quietly, and chose the first book that she saw, which was Fantastic Beasts and Where to FInd Them, which she had already read but she didnt mind reading it again. She sat in a dark corner to read, she wanted peace and quiet. She curled up in an armchair, and fixed her eyes on the first page of the book. Her mind drifted into "bookworld", and there she would stay until she was finished the book.

Cora grinned and nibbled on the edge of her own cookie. "Cookies are my weakness!" She exclaimed, leaning back in her seat. "Oooh, Schmoop's cookies are the best!" She smiled, her bright blue eyes twinkling mysteriously. She laughed as Jamie mentioned sitting on the floor and she nodded in agreement.

"Yes." Sighing a little, Cora smiled. "I think I'm the only one in Hogwarts!"

Cora looked at the girl, slightly put out. Why did she hate her so much? She chewed her bottom lip thoughtfully, wandering what she had done wrong. She saw what the girl mouthed, but did not object.

She just looked at Jamie, hopefully, praying he would stay.

It took Jamie a moment to realize that there was no thing but that Bells wanted to get away. He shifted nervously; he'd feel bad if he left Nicolas and Cora after he'd just met them, but Bells seemed to be at great discomfort.

Not looking at anyone in particular, he nodded. "Right... the... Headmistress needs to see us." Rising, he glanced to Nicolas and then Cora. "I'm sure I'll see you guys around soon," he said, nodding. He made a mental note to try to find each later to ease his guilty conscience. "C'mon, Bells, before Headmistress Rae gets upset with us keeping her waiting."

Cheeks pink with his lie, he made his way over to Bella and then left the corner.

Cora watched Jamie leave, and felt her heart sink. She sunk back in her chair, and watched his retreating back, her eyes growing wider and wider. She didn't love him! She couldn't! She just..really, really, really liked him. Yes, that was it. Actually...

She shook her head defiantly. Even if she did love him (which she didn't), he was older than her and OBVIOUSLY preferred 'Bells'. She looked back at Nicolas, smiling weakly.

"Er...see you later." Sighing a little, Cora got up and walked out of the library, in the opposite direction to Jamie and Bells.

ponessa moved into the library and took in the smell of the parchment from the books. She hastilly moved across the library, past the front desk, to the darkest, coldest, quietest corner. It was just like the one in the common room, but it was nearly conceeled behind/between two bookcases that werent quite big enough to fill the gap. She squeezed betweed the shelves and sat in a small, wooded stool that hed been stowed there. She curled in the dark, and began to read with no light from her wand. After about half an hour of this, she emerged from her corner and snuck out of the Library.

Nicolas watched as everyone he was with just walked out of the library. He shrugged his shoulders and ate the chocolate frog in his hand. He did offer it to them, but maybe none of them noticed.

He walked out of the library after a while.
