Lainey's class ducked their heads down into the pensieve - falling, falling, and falling until they all found themselves in the Hogwarts Library. A small boy, around the age of eleven or twelve was perusing through a section just ahead of them...
"Class," Lainey called out, once everyone was in. "This is Thomas. Remember, this is only a memory, so he can't see you or hear you..." | |

Clifford felt a shiver run down his spine as he watched the young Thomas reading a book in the library. He didn't like the feeling of being in the pensieve one bit, he looked around, feeling paranoid. Then turned back to the Professor, hoping they would soon be returning to the classroom.

The young boy, Thomas, moved along the shelves until he found a step-stool and came back to the point he started. He was too short to see the top shelf so, he stepped onto the stool to peer at the bindings of the books. He found another that seemed to strike his fancy but, it was stuck. One more good pull and he fell off the stool onto his backside, the book crashing onto his head.
He looked near tears, though whether from anger, embarrassment, or pain wasn't readily apparent. However, when Thomas, rubbing his head, looked down at the book, his eyes brightened and he smiled. The book, when it had fallen, opened right up to the page he needed...

Taika Ai stood with the rest of the class watching the boy before them.
It was odd; whenever the class was discussing this very person, there seemed to be an air of anxious fear mingling in the air, yet looking at this boy, you would never know why, and truth be told, Taika Ai didn't.
She wanted to know exactly what he was so famour for and what exactly they were supposed to be watching.
"Er, Professor, what exactly is he famour for?" she said, her hand in the air. He seemed unremarkable to her. Her question was interupted as the boy toppled over, crashing to the floor.

Amelia couldn't help but giggle when this boy 'Thomas' fell off the stool. She didn't know why she laughed, as she knew it wasn't funny and he could have been hurt. Of course, something about that smile on his face when he saw the page in the book, Amelia knew that he was up to know good.
She just watched him to see what he would do next.

Blair sguirmed a bit she wanted to walk up to him and see what he was reading so bad. She got on her tip toes still no luck she got back down on flat feet. "Proffesor do you know what page hes looking at and whats on it" she asked. it was something about this class maybe the fact she loved history that she spoke up unlike in other classes

Amelia moved closer to Lainey, hanging on to every word the professor said. She shifted uncomfortably between her feet, which perhaps was the mention of Voldemort or maybe even just because she enjoyed power and the dark arts. Voldemort was not a bad wizard, in her opinion, and anyone who thought otherwise was just naive.
It did interest her to know why Thomas idled Tom Riddle for only a short while, and why he might have lost interest in the great dark wizard. Amelia heard another girl ask what was on her mind, so she remained quiet and listened for Lainey's response.

The difference between Thomas and Tom come later. Thomas has little interest in killing muggle borns. He was a muggle born himself.
