You can use these paths to get to the Greenhouses, Huts, Care of Magical Creatures class, Forbidden Forest, the Gates, or any other part of the Grounds.

"I mean I have a great time when I am with you. It's perfect and I think when I am going to get to see you again when we aren't around eachother." He thought for a moment. This has never happened to me before. "I like the feeling." He let go of her hand and grabbed her by her waist and put her over his shoulder. "I have the strangest feeling to drag you in the lake right now." He laughed as she squirmed on his shoulder.

"I'm not-" She tried to protest, but he went on. Trying not to blush, Rosalie kept reminding herself that he was entitled to his own opinion. If he liked her...he liked her.

When he finally stopped talking and took her waist, her heart jumped to her throat. She wasn't sure if he was going to kiss her or what, but he threw her over his shoulder.

"NO!" She shrieked. "Ryder NO! Please!" She begged, trying to get loose, but to no avail.

Ryder was surprised with how much she was struggling to get down. "Alright no lake for you." He laughed. He slid her down his stomach but stopped when they were face to face still holding her so her feet were not on the ground. "You don't like water or your scared of the lake?" He asked wonderingly. But before she could answer he leaned forward and gently kissed her lips and slowly bending over while kissing her so her feet were on the ground. He still had his arms around her with his hands on her waist. He looked at her. "I'm sorry for... I should have made sure you were... that you wanted to kiss me."

As he moved to put her back on her feet she could only think, I feel so powerful. Rosalie hardly believed her protests had an effect on him. And then he kissed her. While he'd been removing her from his shoulder, she'd dropped her hands to his shoulders, and now coiled them around his neck, hardly able to think through the shock, joy, and countless feelings bubbling inside.

When he pulled back, and appologized, she clamped her hand over his mouth, keeping one arm around his neck so he didn't get the wrong idea and pull away. She raised herself to her toes, so her mouth was closer to his ear and whispered.

"PDA is bad. There are spies everwere...shhh." Then giggled, and wrapped her arm back around his neck, before tilting her head back to look at him again.

She only stared at him for a moment, before dropping back to her feet, taking his face into her hands, and pulling his face down to hers.

Once they broke contact again, she stared at him for a second, head tilted to the side, then said. "Thanks for not dumping me in the lake."

He was in complete shock for a moment. He felt his heart jumping like crazy and he had so many feelings he never had before. He was so happy he thought he would explode he had never felt happiness like with her. she made him feel like he was invincible. He kissed her forehead. "How could I drag you in the lake when you were screaming like a maniac." He said jokingly. "Everyone would have thought I was hurting you and cast every spell they could think of on me. Plus kissing you is better than dragging you in the lake." He smiled at her. He wondered what she was thinking and if she had all the feelings that he had right now in his stomach and his heart.

"I definitely had no idea that you were going to kiss me. I was sure you were going to tell me that you couldn't." He looked at her. She looked so beautiful standing in front of him. He leaned forward and put his arms around her. Holding her for a moment. Leaning his head down and breathing in he felt perfect with her. Like nothing else could ever feel like that moment.

He smiled at her. "Oh I see, well maybe I wasn't going to throw you in the lake at all, maybe I was just seeing if you would enjoy a little swim or freak out." He said laughing a little bit. "I could put you in the lake you know." He said grinning while holding her up against him with his hands around her waist and on her lower back.

"Maybe I'll turn you into a plushie then throw you in the lake." She challenged him. "But I think you lack the will. You'd rather stay here." She told him grinning cheesily.

"Ah yes but in this sort of duel the use of magic would be illegal as I would just be picking you up on my shoulders and walking you into the lake." He smiled. "But you are right, I would much rather be here with you." He said his arms still wrapped around her waist.

"Good thing too. If you tried that again, I'd totally be forced to give you a wedgie." She told him, trying to sound serious, but fighting an insane urge to crack up at the same time.

"And anyways, it's unfair! I'm a weakling! I can't throw you over my shoulder!" She stated, managing to keep her amusement to a minimum long enough to complain a bit, and stick out her bottom lip.

He laughed as she told him she would be forced to give him a wedgie. "Well I think it is a good thing you cant throw me over your shoulder, if you could I am pretty sure I would be a little bit scared." He smiled at her. "For now you can just get me with that smile." He looked at her eyes. "Although If I did put you in the lake I could kiss you underwater." He said laughing.

"None of that! I'd drown! Or get detention right when Slytherin is in the lead. Then Cass would probably stab me in my sleep." She told him shaking her head franticly. "No way!"

"I wouldn't get you detention. Not intentionally anyway." He said laughing. I mean I am in Slytherin too I dont want us to lose the lead as much as you don't." He took her hand and began walking down the path with her again.

Amelia walked out to the path that would lead to where the picnic was, looking around for Ryan. She was wearing blue jeans and a yellow flowered top, and smiled as soon as she saw him. Darting over to where was she said happily, "So... ready to go rock this picnic?"

Amelia loosened her ribbon and let her wavy red hair flow down her back. She started walking in the direction of the picnic, looking for the green patch of land that was supposedly where there were baskets set up.

Ryan smiled and said "Well i am a half-blood i have a wizard father and a muggle mother also have four sisters i am the eldest of my family" Ryan added "What about your family"

Amelia couldn't stop smiling. She hasn't felt this giddy since when she made the Quidditch term in her first year at her other school. She didn't quite know how to explain it, but it was like. . . magic.

"Well, I'm a half-blood, sort of. Both my parents are magic-folk, but my father is muggle-born wizard who was in Gryffindor. My mother is pure-blood though, who was in Slytherin. I have two older brothers that already graduated from here, one was in slytherin and the other Ravenclaw." She paused thoughtfully, enjoying the beautiful scenary. "I'm the first Hufflepuff in my family, which made me question for awhile if I was really in the right house. But I do love it here in Hufflepuff. So do you play quidditch or anything?

Amelia nodded, "So are you trying out for the Slytherin team this year even though you're a first year? What position do you like to play?" she wished that Ryan was a bit more talkative, as her facial expression became more mellow. "I tried out for the Hufflepuff Team again; I will find out in the next few days if I've made it. I wasn't able to make it last year because I could not attend most of the tryouts."

Amelia nodded again, and then started to skip along at a faster pace to the picnic. She was getting kind of hungry, and also wanted to see some friends from last term. "That's cool. I tried out for beater, but I also don't mind playing Chaser... I think I'm quite good at chasing things." she chuckled at this double meaning.

She saw in the distance a mob of people hanging out around blankets, "I think I see them! It can't be much farther now."
