You can use these paths to get to the Greenhouses, Huts, Care of Magical Creatures class, Forbidden Forest, the Gates, or any other part of the Grounds.

Professor Branxton left the castle and hurried down the path toward the gates. He didn't want to be late for the Ministry.

"Yes, I did say I was going to catch a Kneazle. But everyone knows that Kneazles are covered with floo powder and I am allergic to the stuff."

She explained. "We are going..." Sophie broke off and pulled out her wand doing an interesting flick and twist sort of thing before throwing it up. It landed facing a little to the left of them.

"That way!" She said exitedly collecting her wand placing it in her hair like a chopstick. "Oh yes, would you like to come too Bee?" She asked but didn't think they would be getting a reply from her.

Sana walked through the Path towards the Ground. She heard the words "Dragons", "Kneazle" while she was walking. She giggled. She was in a pretty good mood to enjoying herself.

Sophie heard a giggle and turned around. "Hello!" She smiled as she adjusted her wand. "I heard you laughing and was wondering if it is due to the large amount of Billywig stings, they might be spreading some of their sting." She concluded giving the hufflepuff a blank look. "We are off to find dragons, would you like to come?"

Sana turned towards the fellow Hufflepuff and said, "Hi" Smiling as usual she continued as," No...I've just got a thought of dragons. And what did you say? Going to find a dragon? What's all about?" she asked as she raised her eyebrows.

"Oh" Sophie said a little dissapointed. "I thought every one knew that Rae kept a herd of Peruvian Viperteeth somewhere at the school. Lot's of people just laugh when I tell them this."She bit her lip for a second as though deep in thought before continuing. "My wand tells us we should be heading somewhere over there...." Sophie pointed towards a particularly ugly tree and off into the distance.

Sana got excited as her fellow huffie was talking something about Dragons. She didn't know anything about Rae's dragon hiding so far. But she remained calm and asked, " Really? So tell me if you find that dragon what would you do with it?" she looked towards the tree which was in quite distance.

Sophie smiled a bizarre smile showing mainly teeth and looking like a fool. "I guess I didn't think about that. I suppose try and teach it to read and cook." Sophie said quickly, "After all Dragon's are very intelligent creatures and I would love to train one. Of course it would he secret if the ministry found out..." She paused. "I suppose they would send Goblins to catch us." She smiled and her eyes widended. "That would be exiting wouldn't it!" She explained shrugging her shoulders over and over again showing exitement.

Sana started laughing while she heard the girl's wish about Dragons.
"OH! Then it would be cool if it's learn to cook and read. But you forgot onething, if they do so..then we'll not be here. Hogarts will turned tobe a dragon school instead of witchcraft and wizardie's" she said but patted the enthusiastic third year gal's back.
"Do onething, get the proper permission from the Ministry to brought up a dragon. It's a safe for both you and your dragon, right?" she shook her head and asked, "Ok, I'm Sana Jason of 4th year and what about you?" she introduced herself to the Huffie.

Sophie laughed slightly. "I guess I was getting a little carried away, must be the Diricawl that live here, they give of wierd emotions." She concluded. "Hello Sana, I'm Sophie May" She said in a sing-song voice. "I am in my fifth year." She explained slightly wishing that she and Sana were in the same year. "How are you?" She asked pushing some of her straight blonde hair begind her ear revealing an unusual looking earing.

Sana smiled back. "Yeah..there you come to the point. Diricawls are cool. But anyhow I prefer cats instead of anything as a pet" she said as she adjusting her robes a bit and continued,
"Nice name Sophie, and I couldn't believe that you're in fifth year. You sounds like 2nd or 3rd year. BTW I'm fine and fantastic. Hope you too so 'cause i guessed by the sound of your enthusiastic voice" she was talking in a quick but sweet pace.

Sophie shook her head, "I don't like cat's at all, I really like crups!" She said tapping her feet. "Thank-you, I am not top keen on it but it is quite nice" Sophie scrached her ear and asked curiosly, "Why would you think I was in my third or second year? Do I look young? I think that is because of pixies, They breed near my home which makes everyone in my family look younger. Well there is only my Dad. My mum died when I was seven, It was very sad." She finished looking at Sana.

When Ryder had taken her hand Rosalie slowed to a walk, and squeezed his hand, hoping he wasn't too freaked out by her. Who really understood guys?! But from what she'd heard, they all feared girls, even the boring average ones like her.

"So will you tell me something?" She asked him, looking at him out of the corner of her eye.

He held her hand trying not to move too much because he didn't want her to pull away from him. He was pretty nervous but tried to seem as casual as possible. He smiled at her. "Do you want me to tell you something in particular or just something random?" He asked with his eyebrows raised in a worried look.

"OH," She groaned. "You totally ruined the joke." She told him, bumping him with her shoulder, and laughing as she did. "Just something random. I have nothing interesting to say. So I'm going to pick on you." She stated, and reached her hand up to play with the end of her braid once more.

Ryder was walking like a stick man, and sounded totally and completely freaked out. She wished there were something she could do to make him feel more comfortable, but sincerely doubted it unless she wanted to go away.

Ryder smiled at her nervously. He thought for a moment of something interesting to tell her that wasn't going to make him look like a complete idiot. "Well random it is... My favorite color is green but I hate peas." He looked at the sky knowing he looked like an idiot but at the moment his head was swirling and he was just happy to be walking with her. "Your turn. Tell me something."

He smiled at her and then let go of her hand and put his arm around her. "I heard you were allergic to cotton. So I had someone send me robes that were not made out of cotton. Since I didn't want the next time we met being me bringing you to the hospital wing." He said this a lot more calmly. He stopped for a moment and bent down there was a very nice orange flower on the ground. He picked it and handed it to Rosalie. "Maybe this can remind you of our walk today." He smiled and put his arm back around her.

"Your so thoughtful." She told him, grinning hugely as she crossed her arm over the front of herself, and took his to prevent him from running away mostly. "Now, is there a reason you are so tense?" She pried, and held the orange flower in the same hand as her rose. I'm getting quite a collection. She thought absantly, while staring up at Ryder.

He smiled at her and thought for a moment. "Well I could make up a nice lie that will probably either sound completely false or make me sound like a complete idiot. So I will go with the truth. I am really nervous... because... Well..." He looked up at the sky and then over to the side of himself. Then at Rosalie and then the ground. "I'm...a..." He thought for a moment. He couldnt even think of a lie now if he wanted too. "I am attracted to you." He said mumbling a little half hoping she didn't understand anything he was saying like he was speaking in another language. He looked down at the ground again.

"And?" She asked him still staring at him while he squirmed. Fine, maybe it was evil, but she was enjoying herself...a faint smile touched her lips, which she tried to cover up.

"Don't think about it like it's a big deal. If I have a problem with you, I wouldn't be here. I've had plenty of opportunities to run away." She reminded him. "I'd understand you being all squirmy and stiff if I'd actaully rejected you at some point....or maybe your nursing a broken heart...is that it?" She demanded, still grinning, still staring.

He grinned at her. "I am not nursing a broken heart. I just get a little nervous when I like someone." He looked at her. "But obviously you get this a lot because you are quite calm." He said smiling at her. He thought to himself why shouldn't she have guys fighting for her she was fun to be with, pretty and smart. So if she was all of these things why would she want to be with him. He thought about that a little longer. What do I have to offer her? He began to worry a little again. He smiled at her wondering what she was thinking.

"Not really...I mean...there was Alex, but that was just a silly crush, I mean, we were only eleven." She stated and giggled at the memory. Part of he wondered how he was doing. "One of my best friends since I got to Hogwarts is a boy...but we're nothing but friends...really...other than that I've never really had a boyfriend." She told him honestly.

Your rambling, and he doesn't want to hear about Liu or Alex. Shut up and be charming! She commanded herself.

He too had friends that were girls but no girlfriend he never really wanted one or even thought about dating until he liked her. He wondered if her friends liked her the way he liked her or if she liked them and didn't tell him so. "I haven't had a girlfriend, no one that struck my interest until now." He smiled at her and turned to her pushing a few loose hairs behind her ear and then taking her hand again. "I wasn't exactly going to tell you, but I sent you that owl. I wanted to tell you then I was nervous, and well I guess I thought if I sent it nameless that you wouldn't be disgusted if you hated me. Since you would not know who sent it." He said holding her hand but he was a little more calm so he seemed to walk more loosely.

"I figured as much." She told him with a smile. "I haven't really had time to spend with anyone but you since school started, with classes and all. But I was going to let you tell me instead of totally putting you on the spot." She told him, trying to keep the irony out of her voice. She'd avoided that point of ackwardness for the one they'd just delt with.

"I don't understand why your so selfconsious, but...no one can change it but you." She rambled. Part of her recongized that she was rambling to rid herself of the sheer joy welling up inside of her. He liked her. She was afraid he didn't. He'd never even mad any kind of move on her! He'd exchange the pleasantries, but....nothing else.
