Antwone smiled to the professor and withdrew and notebook from his desk. Now for a password, what will I do about the password. Antwone could not think of a good password so he decided just to use his name for practice. He pulled out his wand from inside his robes and pointed it towards to notebook. Concentrating hard, his face etched up in a V, sliding his classes down the bridge of his nose, he started the circular motion thrice, flicked twice, waited, and flicked again. A light emitted from the tip of his wand and started to spring out onto the notebook as he spoke the encantation and the password immediately after.

"Clausaltus Obfirmo!" the light grew large and he spoke his password. " Antwone Thomas." he concentrated hard on the charm and the security he was trying to create. Inside his mind was throbbing back and forth and it showed on his face and the sweat of concentration on his body. He had never tried out a charm so complicated before.

Soon, blood started to drip from his nose as his hand stayed steady with the notebook and the white light was reaching out towards the dairy. Antwone did not let go of his focus on the the charm and the notebook. He had forgot about the presence of the world around him, he forgot about the presence of even himself. All that matter to him was working out the charm and letting the light reach and engulf the notebook. Everyone else is doing it fine, don't fail Antwone, don't fail. Blood was leaving his nose freely and was falling onto his notebook. His head was throbbing beyond reason and sweat was mixing in with the blood on his notebook. Antwone, though, was not concerned. He watched as the white light hit the diary and spread over it. As the light vanished his concentration dwindled with it and the throbbing in his head slowed and his bleeding stop. In substitute for it though he became lightheaded and dizzy and started stumbling around his notebook, desperately trying to keep his footing. After a few moments of stumbling he fell to his knees, still conscious but breathing hard.

"What was that?" Antwone was angry with himself as he found himself confused, dazed and bleeding. "Am I so week I can't even do a dairy charm?" He continued to think to himself as he tried to get up from his knees but not avail. "Get up Antwone! Get up! What would your father think of you sitting here! Fallen and weak!" But Antwone could not do it. He remained on hands and knees trying to catch a free breathe.

Ari nodded at Lexi, "Nice to meet you." she said as she picked up her wand gave it three turns before two short flicks, placing the tip of her wand on her notebook which held her rdawings and said, "Clousaltus Obfirmo,". She smiled as the white light lit up her wand then when she did the last filck she muttered, "Saria." the notebook was engulfed with white light before turning bback to normal. "There now that's protected." she said, looking back at Amelia.

Amelia would have tossed her wand in the air, if she was holding it, out of excitement. She had the biggest grin on her face, for achieving such an accomplishment; perhaps this was the challenge her tea leaves in Divination were referring to. If this was the challenge though, then she was greatly disappointed.

"Thanks Ari!" she exclaimed, still in shock for actually doing it correctly, "Now I just have to do it with a wand and a password and I'm all set." Amelia laughed as she reached for her wand, which still sat there on the table.

Realizing she didn't have a notebook that she wanted to risk ruining, she walked to the front of the classroom and picked up one that the teacher said they could use.

She gripped her wand nervously, and closed her eyes to focus all her attention on that beautiful horizon, and the wand motions and incantation. She then opened her eyes and watched her wand move three times clockwise, and then flick twice. At the pause in movement, she said the incantation "Clausaltus Obfirmo", where she saw a white light emerge from the tip of her wand onto the book. She whispered the password and watched the light seep through cover of the book, now immersed within its pages. Once this happened, she gave her wand a final flick and slowly raised it back to rest.

Astonished as to whether or not the charm really worked, Amelia picked up the book and gave it a shake. She tried to open it, but couldn't. "OMG!! It worked! It really worked!" Amelia exclaimed, loud enough for people to hear on the other side of the castle.

Qaz saw Antwone crumble and ran over. "Antwone, what's wrong? Do you need to go to the hospital wing?' She reached into her pocket and pulled out a couple tissues for him.

Antwone whispered to Qaz who had just came to his side.

"No, I don't need to go," he said to her still in a low voice. "Just help me up, I just need to stand up."

As Qaz helped him up Antwone tried to wave to the class convincingly.

"I'm alright, I just got a little lightheaded," he said this with blood drying at his left nostril.

Lexi smile at Amelia. She had finally learned the correct incantation. She smiled back at the Ravenclaw, Ari. She was in awe at how good Ari was with this charm already.

After repeating what she needed to do in her head over and over again, she took a deep breath. Ok, I can do this, she thought to herself.

Lexi concentrated really hard on the notebook. She picked up her wand, rotated her wrist once, twice, thrice. She flicked her wand once...twice and then on the pause she said "Clausaltus Obfirmo!" White light emerged from her wand tip. She then muttered "Hufflepuff" as her password, and white light engulfed her empty notebook. It was a split second before it turned back to normal.

Lexi smiled, she has successfully completed this charm. She couldn't believe it...she always had trouble in charms.

After having successfully opened his notebook a few more times, Christian took another break. He took the time to write down the notes he neglected to write in the beginning. 3/4 of the way done, he looked up to think for half a second and saw a disoriented Ravenclaw. He got up as the Ravenclaw fell to his knees. He went beside him and watched the girl hand him a tissue. Concerned he asked, "Are you ok man?"
He bent down to help the guy stand up.

After Qaz helped Antwone to his feet, she said, softly, 'Hang on...I have some chocolate in my bag, and a few more tissues, too.' She went over and got them and brought them back to Antwone, and whispered, 'You may not want to go to the nurse now, but maybe you should after class.'

Antwone placed his hand on Qaz's shoulder and spoke to her softly and closely.

"Yeah, after class, that's much better," Antwone took her tissue and wiped the blood and sweat that still dabbled on his head and nose. "Just try not to bring too much attention to me." he said smiling to her through his glasses and he looked over to another Ravenclaw boy who asked about his condition. "I'm alright, it was nothing, I tripped was all. I'm a bit of a clumbsy person."

Ari watched as Amelia did the spell perfectly and grinned, "I knew you could do it!" she exclaimed happily as she watched her shake the notebook. Putting down her own notebook she sat down on the ground for a moment to relax her ankle, which had been twinging all morning before standing up again.

She was surpriseed that she had picked up the spell so easily, after making big mistakes perviously while practising the wand movements. She could always pick up the incantation after the third try, but the wand movements always bothered her. She watched Lexi for a few minutes, grinning as she watched her perform the spell without problems. Searching through her bag, she began to look for something she could try the spell on again.

Qaz understood completely, so she nodded at Anwone and went back to her things. After that she tried to calm down. The sight of somebody elses blood always got to her.

Christian smiled and patted the guy on the back.
"Sure man. It's good to hear that your ok. Christian,"he added. "I'm Christian Miles...a second year."
He made his notebook fly to him so that he could finish his notes. Once done he got his wand back out started practising again.

Katelyn took out a notebook, and set it down on the table. She didnt notice Antwone or Qaz, for when she was in class, she rarely noticed anything except what she was learning. She took out her wand, and set it down next to her notebook. She scribbled down some notes in her notebook, and sighed. This looked complicated. She waved her wand in a circle three times, and flicked it twice.
"Clausaltus Obfirmo!" she said softly, and said softly said her middle name, which no one knew and it would be a hard password to figure out. Nothing happened. She sighed. "What did i do wrong?" she asked herself, and looked in her notes. "Oh, im supposed to wait after the first to flicks of my wand, then wave it again. Oh," she said softly to herself, and decided to try again.

Antwone nodded to Qaz and turned to the Ravenclaw boy named Chirstian.

"Name's Antwone Thomas."

Antwone went over to his fallen wand and wiped the drying blood off of it. He came back over to his notebook which had now become a dark red and was still wet with his sweat atop of it. He looked at the notebook as a symbol of his failure. Why is it so hard for me to do this simple Diary Charm?

He pointed his wand away from the notebook and did the motion and incantation as he did before along with the password he created and the white light hit the ground. That was easy enough, but why can't I do it with the notebook? He pointed his wand at the notebook but was afraid to go through the pain and embarrassment he had went through before. Do it again! Never give up! Never surrender!

Qaz knew that she couldn't practice and keep an eye on Antwone at the same time, so she decided to update her notes. She picked up her quill and started to writing, peeking at Antwone occasionally, just to make sure he was all right.

Katelyn tried again. She flicked her wand twice, paused for a second or two, and flicked it again. She muttered the incantation, and said her password softly. White light flew from her wand into the notebook, and then, the notebook was normal. She smiled. Charms was always easy for her, unlike astronomy. She copied down a few more notes, and finally set down her quill, cracked her knuckles, and sighed. She leaned back in her chair, and glanced around, noticing Antwone and Qaz for the first time. She smiled at them, and looked back down at her notebook. She noticed that her notes were scribbled, and she could barely read them. She ripped out the page, and copied the whole two pages of notes again. She wrote them perfectly this tim, her neat script filling the page. Perfectionist? Yes.

While looking through his notes for any mistakes, he heard the first year's name.

"Pleasure to meet you Antwone," he said without looking up from his notes. He jabbed the paper with his wand to get rid of an ink and fix a spelling mistake. Satisfied, he twirled his wand between his fingers, the wand emitting blue and red sparks, while thinking of a password. Finally deciding on one, he gave the whole thing another go. Going through the routine and finally said "Clausaltus Obfirmo!" and a white light shone. He tapped the notebook again and said, "Shadow" and the book unlocked. Smiling, he continued practising with other items.

Qaz smiled back at Katelyn. She seemed to be getting the hang of it. Antwone was looking better. Wonderful thing, chocolate...and so tasty...

Qaz decided to practice it one more time. After unlocking her book, she went the movements again, speaking the charm and whispeing her password. Once again, the light appeared, as it should and was pulled into her book, just like the last three times.

"Thank you, Miss Castior for helping Miss Rose with the charm. Five points for Ravenclaw," he attempted a smile before going back to his brooding.

Professor Branxton was a bit too preoccupied with his own thoughts to really notice much of what was going on with his class. It was out of character for him to be so disconnected and quite in appropriate for a teacher to be this inattentive. It was for this reason that he failed to Mr. Thomas collapse to the ground with blood seeping from his nose.

He sat back down behind his desk, allowing the students to fend for themselves for the moment.

Qaz couldn't help but notice how distracted the Professor was. Somehow, she didn't think chocolate was the answer this time. Maybe she'd drop one on desk on her way out after class, anyway.

Couleia's eyes grew big as she saw Antwone collapse a bit. She thought about going to see if he was alright but decided against it seeing as two was enough to make sure. She didn't want to add to the attention, she knew how that felt. Instead, when Qaz and the Ravenclaw boy people called Christian came back. "Is he going to be okay?" she quietly asked either of them with a concerned look on her face.

Qaz whispered back to Couleia, 'I think so. I'm going to hang close for a while, just in case. I think it's just stress...he pushes his self so hard.'

Couleia nodded and replied, "Let me know if you need help," before going back to perfecting her wand movement. It became harder to concentrate on than before, however. It would take an awful lot of stress from a Ravenclaw to get into a state such as Antwone's. Her mind less than connected with her movements, she accidentally tapped her book again with her wand, sending a squirt of ink onto her uniform.

"Antwone, i know it's not any of my buisness, but, would you like some help?" Jesse asked his fellow Ravenclaw as he did the spell on another of his notebooks, this time useing a different password, "It's actually a very simple charm it's just that.... You kinda have to already know what your doing before your doing it"

Austin flipped through his word search book trying to think of a password, his eyes fell apun two words that had intersected in the puzzle.
He picked up his wand, which he had dropped, took a deep breath and began the spell. He created three twists with his wand, tapped the book twice saying "Clausaltus obfirmo". A white light issued from his wand he began the slow flick and said his password "clockstopper". As the light was absorbed by the book, Austin was suprisingly shocked that he completed the spell.
Just to make sure it worked he tried to open the book, but he couldnt open it untill he spoke "clockstopper". Satisfied with himself Austin leaned against a desk watching his fellow students and their attempts at the charm.
