Mary knew that Caitlin was mocking her.Still, she took her wand and took out a story book from her bag.She raised her wand and turned it three times, did two flicks, the second one touching the story book and said. 'Clausaltus obfirmo'. A white light came out from her wand and she did another flick and said 'Ju McKenzie Laurence.' The light was absorbed by the book and Mary smiled.She tried to open the book but couldn't.She looked at Caitlin and then turned back to the book. She softly said the password and the book opened. She smiled and turned to Caitlin. 'This is how you do it.I hope you understood. It would be great if you just give it another try.' she said, her blue eyes looking at Cailin. |
"Clausaltus Obfirmo," Mindy repeated with her wand moving lightly. "Clausaltus Obfirmo. Magical," she said the password. The book slowly began to open. Astonished, she dropped her wand and looked curiously at the piece of notepad. |
Bess turned her wand round thrice, gave two flicks and then "Clausaltus Obfirmo," she then gave another flick and said, "Clausaltus Obfirmo, Gryffindor!" The book opened and Bess was overjoyed. |
"Very good class, you've done very well. Don't worry if you haven't quite gotten the hang of it, yet. If you would like to continue to practice during your free time, you can use the classroom which I will leave unlocked. However, I'm afraid we are out of time for today. "For homework, I would like you to describe how to perform the charm, what should happen when you perform the charm so that you know you are doing it correctly, and what the desired outcome is. Remember, learning the theory is a major part of learning the charm. It will be due one week from today." After making his final speech to the class, Professor Branxton sat back down behind his desk. He took off his glasses and massaged the bridge of his nose. |
Mary listened to Pro. Branxton intently.She wrote down the homework in her HomeWork Book and packed her bag slowly, looking sad.It was an interesting class, she thought as she reached Pro. Branxton's table.She went towards him and said. 'Goodbye sir, hope to see you soon.I really enjoyed your class very much.' |
Katelyn scribbled down the homework, and tucked her quill in the spine of her notebook, gently closed it, and slipped it in her bag. She slung it over her shoulder, and on passing Professor Branxton she gave him a nod and a smile and muttered good afternoon and walked out. |
Christian wrote down what the homework was. He put his wand and notebook back into his bag. He picked the bag up. It was weird wearing the bag without the familiar weight of his kitten inside. He sat at the desk for a few seconds more. Perhaps he should ask Lua if she had seen him. Shadow and Louis have to be around somewhere..., he thought. He got up and went to leave the class. Before leaving he nodded his head towards the professor and said, "Goodbye...Wish you luck in finding those children. Actually just the other day, I swear I heard a baby crying in a corridor. But the crying left so fast..before I could look properly. It definetly sounded like a baby though." |
Ariana put her stuff away in her bag and looked at her watch. Just enough time to run up to the Common room and finish her other homework before heading outside. Smiling slightly, she walked up to the professor and gave him a friendly smile. "Thanks for a great lessson Sir." she stated with a twinkle in her eye that had nothing to do with feeling happy. In fact, if she didn't get out of there soon, she'd been screaming, why she had no idea. The tension in the castle was getting to her she thought. With a nod, she waved at the professor, throwing him another smile and walked out of class, hoping the tension would ease up soon. |
Couleia quickly wrote down her homework and packed up her things, making sure she remembered to get eveything. As she walked out of class, she looked to Qaz. "Well that was a fairly successful lesson, no?" she asked with a grin as she swung her bag around her shoulder. |
Jesse glanced back toward Antwone, gave the other boy a quick smile and then started packing up his things, if he was going to do the homework later that night then he would have to get his extra Charm book out of his trunk. Jesse stood up and walked through the large ornate door, he turned sharply on his heel and hurried off toward the Ravenclaw common room. |
Amelia copied the homework down in her notebook, and then put all her belongings away and slung her bag over one shoulder. More homework...great! Well, at least it's a nice distraction from the strange happenings. Amelia was about to leave the classroom, when she remembered she wanted to talk to Professor Branxton, despite how weary he looked. She walked back across the room towards his desk, where he was sitting with his glasses off, and she tapped lightly on the desk surface. "Professor? Are you feeling okay?" Amelia wanted to smack herself for this dumb comment, of course he's not feeling okay! His kids are missing! She then quickly added, "Well, I mean, I know you're not feeling okay, but is there anything I can do to help?" |
Professor Braxton cleaned his glasses and then put them back on again to look at Miss Rose. "Oh, I am fine. Just look out for any signs and practice that charm," he said, forcing a grin and leading her to the door, locking the door behind him. |
