Natasha sat on the weathered old armchair in the middle of the class. There was nothing out of the ordinary with the class this time; small circular tables were spread on split levels around the circular classroom and inviting pouffes were scattered all about.
She fingered the hem of her emerald green robes as she absently stirred her tea with the tip of her wand. The students should be arriving soon, and she couldn't quite think straight...not while the twin girls were still missing. | |

Jaimine entered the class and took a seat in the middle she never quite understood divination, and this was her first time in a wizarding school so she was still in oblivion as to what anything ment. Jai removed her textook and notebook then set her bag beside her and waited.

Natasha smiled at the students as she wiped her wand off on her robes. She hoped there would be a few more students, but it was still a bit early so they may still be making their way up the insane amount of steps that led to her classroom.

Nat walked into the room and headed to the back, sitting on a comfortable pouffe in the corner. She gazed around, wondering what she would learn today. Catching the professors eyes as she walked in, Nat smiled nervously to her, slightly worried as this wasn't her best subject. You can only try your best, she told herself.

Cassandra walked into the classroom and took her seat in the front row. She looked at Professor Blaylock as she seemed as if she was in a different world. Cassandra had never seen her divination teacher so flighty. "Professor?" Cassandra started asking, genuinely concerned, "Is everything... I mean to say, is something wrong?"
Brooke was sitting in the back and usually she'd have called her over, but Cassandra felt a little guilty for picking the Ravenclaw Kennedy Jennings as her partner instead of her friend. She held her head high though thinking, Whatever it takes to make the grade.

Natasha turned to the young Slytherin with a raised eyebrow, "Hmm? I'm sorry, dear, I promise to have all my wits about me during the lesson."
She stood up from her comfortable chair and looked around at the students gathered in her circular classroom. "Hello everyone and welcome to the very first Divination lesson of the term."
She waved her wand and the trapdoor slammed shut. She winced at the way the sound was magnified by the ancient stone walls and turned to the students with an apologetic smile.
"After the disastrous efforts to bring in more experimental methods of Divination last term I figured we should start this term with the ever popular art of Tasseomancy.”
She paused, as if waiting for their reactions to that particular statement, "Any idea what Tasseomancy is?"
OOC: To the students who didn't get to post before this post, don't worry about not being able to join the lesson. Just post as if you've been in class from the very beginning. DO NOT post yourself coming in late if you like having house points.
