What was once the old Defense Against the Dark Arts office lays in the middle of the corridor, right next to the classroom. A harried little house elf paced just inside the door, and she turns to put one long finger to her lips at the sight of you.
"Shhh... we is being quiet. The babies is sleeping, please." Her protruding eyes dart to the twin cribs pushed against alternate walls. The room no longer resembles an office at all, considering the stone walls are covered in a lush, bright fabric designed with prancing blue and purple unicorns. Soft music floats through the air, and the house elf makes her way through some discarded toys to settle into the heavy rocking chair.
"You can't be coming in here without permission, but you is able to stand and watch from the door, please. The babies is finally asleep." | |

Argyle is fixing baby bottles when some more students come into the Nursery to see the babies. "Argyle can always use some help. Argyle is a busy, busy elf with Mistress Rae's babies." Gevevieve starts crying again causing Argyle to drop Mistress Rae's expressed breast milk. "Oh dear! Could you go and check on her please." Argyle waves her hand and the milk jumps off the floor and back into the pitcher. "Argyle cannot award house points. Only the staff can do that. You will have to talk to Mistress Rae about extra points for helping with her babies." | |

Phoebe smiled, and, assuming that Michiko would keep humming the melody, started the harmony. The effect was, she hoped, mesmerizing to Genevive. She wasn't sure, but she thought she saw the baby girl's eyelids droop a little...

Rae leaned against the doorway and laughed at the two girls singing to Genevieve. "You'll spoil Vivi badly if you don't watch out. She's already her mama's little angel." Rae made her way to Sophia's crib and lifted her out. "You're mama's angel too, even if you don't sleep." Rae snuggled Sophia against her and kissed the blonde curls.

It didn't sound as good as when both of them were singing, but she did it anyways. She stopped for a moment, out of surprise, when Phobe asked for house points. She didn't expect to be rewarded for it, although it would be nice if she did, she was doing it for fun, and she needed the practice. She kept humming, and looked down at 'vivi.' Smileing brightly at the baby she stroked her head again, it was nice and warm. She hoped the baby would fall asleep, so she could help with the other sweet twin.

"Well, I do appreciate your help, and it does take quite a bit of work to put the girls down," Rae pointed to Vivi's nodding head. The baby was asleep. "But I can't justify giving out house points. If you were helping with the girls for points, I'm sorry to disappoint you. But if you're helping out of a love of babies, you can give Sophia her bottle. She's up for a while now." She jostled the baby.

"She's very young to be developing a personality, but she's the more introverted of the two. Vivi lights up when someone walks into the room, even if she doesn't know them. Soph... doesn't warm up right away. She's watchful, slow to smile and react, but you can tell she's taking it in." She settled into the glider to watch, gesturing for Armand to enter as well.

Swivelling her head at Armand's voice, she smiled at him, and beckoned him in, "You're right...her lines are too faint for a proper palm reading, I don't know what I was thinking." But she still held on to the child's hand anyway.
With her other hand, she reached into the pocket and pulled out a tattered tarot deck, "Tarots should be fine...Cassandra, will you shuffle?" she held the deck out to the headmistress, "Just...shuffle and be careful to think of Sophia." | |
