| | |  Staff Locker Room and Practice Pitch
Located next to the pitch is an unassuming building that has been rarely used over the years, except for storing the official game equipment. Over the past week, the school house elves have been busy cleaning and preparing the room when their hectic schedule allowed it. At last, it looks like a locker room fit for a professional Quidditch team. The walls are painted a pale gold with a large Hogwarts emblem painted prominently on one wall. On the opposite side is a row of deep purple lockers with golden numbers and locks gleaming in the overhead light of the room. Inside each locker, are black practice robes, black and silver/white game day robes, and a broom servicing kit. The floor is padded in a non-slip black rubber and golden chairs covered with purple cushions are arranged before the lockers. The private showers and restroom facilities are down the hall, safe from prying eyes. A magical board on wheels sits to one side of the room - a single tap and it comes alive with various diagrams of Quidditch moves. Near the board is a bookcase that contains the latest Quidditch rule book and strategy guides, as well as the most recent editions of Quidditch magazines. A magical cooler stocked with refreshments and a cupboard full of miscellaneous items (snacks and first aid items to extra towels for the showers). A portion of the wall near the entrance, is lined with the portaits of students who gained prominence in the world of professional Quidditch. So come in and relax - it's one of the few student-free areas on campus! This locker room is for the Hogwarts Staff only. No students are to post in this locker room thread. | |

Allegra was obviously talking about her clumsiness, "I can think of quite a number who would like to send a Bludger our way." she said, grinning at the thought. "Do you want to race or not?" She asked Allegra and Armand, zooming off before they could answer. |

"Of COURSE I want to race you! Just don't fall off your broom." Allegra grinned evily and took off after Natasha. The girl was a speed demon, that was for sure. She wanted the broom to go as fast as it could. She finally caught up to Natasha and waved. "This is fun. Now can you do this?" Allegra shot up into the air and did two loops perfectly, nearly slipping once again.

Natasha pulled her broom hard to stop it and swerved slightly as her head tilted up to watch Allegra. Her mouth dropped open as she shook her head frantically, "There is no way in Merlin's beard I'm trying that! I'd, well, I'm bad enough on the ground!" She wanted to try it though...really badly. Maybe if she flew closer to the ground...would that be better?" | |

Natasha worried her lip and looked around to see that Armand was still quite far away. What would he do to her if she tried this? Well, if she fell, he wouldn't have to do anything, she thought, snorting. "Okay, but I'll just do ONE!" she called, and kicked off again, gaining momentum and shooting up like how Allegra had done. She did one quick loop, almost slipping off her broom as she did so. At the end of it, she was bending over, hugging her broom and laughing, "No more, Allegra! I actually treasure my life." | |

Armand turned from a lap around the pitch to see Natasha nearly slip off her broom. He flew over just in time to hear Allegra saying it was more fun to take some risks. "She can take risks later, after she's..." He looked up to Natasha and shook his head, looking back to Allegra. "After she's a better flier. Give her a little more time." A lot more time, he begged.

Adam paced the locker room nervously. He was remembering the last time he'd played quidditch, a bludger had knocked him out after only a few moments and he'd fallen off his broom into a patch of poison ivy. A very uncomfortable week that was. He hoped he'd fare better this time. He knew he probably should go out to the pitch and practise, but peeking out the door he saw Armand, Danni, Allegra and Natasha looking like they were having fun and he didn't want to embarrass himself in front of them... at least not until the game itself.
