Evan Cassels zooms down the pitch with the Quaffle. He shoots and he scores just as a shrill whistle is blown. Vindictus calls the captains over and speaks with them for a moment. After waving them back into position, he announces his ruling to the crowd. "On the previous play, Hufflepuff had a player out of position and will be penalized ten points." He looked over at the scoreboard and watched the Hufflepuff score change from 30 to 20. In the meantime, the gold fluttering object is now fluttering over the staff section of the stands . . . .

Evan Cassels zooms down the pitch. He shoots and he scores! Oh, my! The Seekers are flying at break-neck speed towards the Staff section. They get closer . . . Professor Erikson pushes Professor Blaylock to the ground and tries to protect her . . . and Professor De Luca is screaming while Professor Lainey laughs in amusement. The Snitch makes a sudden move and the Seekers shoot up into the sky. They're racing overhead . . . the suspense! Suddenly, both point their broomsticks downward and go into a dive. It's a blur of blue and gold . . . two blurred arms reach out . . . and they swerve away from each other and roll onto the grass of the pitch. One hand is thrust into the air . . . Caitlin White of Hufflepuff has caught the Snitch! Hufflepuff wins!
A long shril whistle is blown and Vindictus hurries over to help both captain's to their feet. Soon, all of the team members land on the grassy pitch. "Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff have played an outstanding game of Quidditch. It was a nail-biter to the very end and I'm proud of how talented both teams are." He flicked his wand and the Quidditch Cup appeared in his hands. "Congratulations to Hufflepuff for winning the Quidditch Cup for the second year in a row," he said and handed the trophy to Evan. He turned to the 'Claws who had gathered around. "Ravenclaw - you played a tough game and should hold your heads high. Teams, please shake hands before leaving the pitch."

Vince was surprised that the other team had caught it, but he did not care at all. They still had made it to the championships, giving a grin as he flew straight at the ground with his broom and looked at all players still in the sky. Waiting for their arrival, he shook each player in the Hufflepuff and grinned. His eyes met at the stands and he quickly picked up his broom from the ground, slowly walking towards the lockers.

Adeline dismounted and walked over by her teammates, then looked up at the stands. They still got second. They made it to the Championship match. That in itself was good.
She walked over to the Hufflepuff team and shook their hands, "You guys were amazing. It was a great match." Adeline then paused and added with a wink, "Just watch out next term." She then began to walk back to the locker rooms. | |

Molly jumped up and down with excitement. It had been a very hard game and Ravenclaw had to be happy with how well they played. She headed over to the Ravenclaw team and congratulated each of them individually before heading off to the locker room to start celebrating.

Touy was stunned Chole was on the snitch but the bigger girl had a longer reach and it just wasn't to be. It had been a well played game and they were ahead in points. O well time to get down and shake hands. Touy flew to the ground, looking to see if Chole was going to keep her temper. "Great game guys " Touy said while shaking hand with the Hufflepuffs. | |

Brianna's current smile lessened a bit but she knew that both teams played great, so she still had a smile. She flew down to the ground and got off smoothly. Brianna walked over to the Hufflepuff Chasers(captain included) and shook their hands. "Congrats. Great game. We'll see you again next term" Brianna then walked over to the the rest of the Hufflepufff team and shook their hands. "Great game". After congratulating the other team, Brianna walked over to Chloe and the rest the team.

Linda landed on the ground, "Woooooooooooooooo!" She screamed her knees hitting the ground and her face turned up towards the sky. Linda got to her feet smiling widely. She made her way to the knot of players forming on the pitch and she pumped each of the Ravenclaws' hands. "You all were awesome! That was a tough match!" She said trying to contain herself. Linda smiled at the Ravenclaws and then turned to look at Evan's face. Priceless! She spun around slowly looking at all of the Hufflepuff suporters and then grinning wildly, she walked to the Hufflepuff locker room. | |

As Chloe made her way down to the ground, she wasn't sure how to feel. She felt as though her team had really won, when the score said differently. She slowly dismounted her broom, her mind racing.
Well... we did better than Gryffindor and Slytherin... plus we had more regular points... so losing was my fault. Great. She felt some tears coming on while heading over towards the other team. But then again, that Seeker is a fifth year and she's bigger than me. I bet if I was taller I could've caught that dang thing... why didn't I eat my vegetables?
Before starting to go down the line and shake each of the Hufflepuff's hands, she adjusted her Roadrunner Cape. It hadn't brought her as much luck as it should have, according to Julia, but that was okay.
After shaking five of the opposing team's hands, Chloe came to Caitlin and Evan. She thought Caitlin cheated by being older and bigger, but she shook the Seeker's hand anyway. "You had some great catches out there." She tried to give her a genuine smile as she commented cutely, "I hope when I get to be your age I'm as good as you."
Chloe turned away from Caitlin and just stared at Evan, not sure of what to do. She certainly wasn't going to touch him unless she was punching his face in. Hey, that's not a bad idea... she thought, then decided Lainey would eat her alive. Finally, the Ravenclaw Captain just gave Evan a thumbs-up. She didn't say anything to him at all.
What a match. In her eyes, Ravenclaw had won... And when teams won, that only meant one thing... "Party in the common room!" Chloe said to her team while sprinting off the pitch. "Last one there's a pile of crup dung!"

Caitlin shook the other Seeker's hand, smiling warmly. She was obviously upset, but Caitlin didn't know why - she'd done really well, despite the fact that Caitlin was having other issues besides the game ... not to mention, the girl was smaller, and therefore faster. Ah, well.
"Great game," Caitlin nodded. "See you again next term, eh? I can't wait to play you again ... you're porbably the best competition I've had all season."
Smiling, Caitlin raced off of the field, ready to go back to her Common Room and party.
