Liz smiled. "Yes Professor and if it is someone who is wide awake it would not take that much caffeine right?" Liz said.

MJ giggled at what Themea said and remember an energy drink that some friends had introduced her too. She smiled. "How about Monsters?" she asked him softly and looked at the teacher. "Like Coffee?" she asked remembering what it did to Taylor and her. She wodnered if Pepsi would do the same to her but she knew it wouldn't probably, not sure..

Kerry heard "runespoor eggs" and shuddered. She still wasn't over the ashwinder chasing her in class and the fire being set by the eggs. She hoped they wouldn't be using them again any time soon.

Themea waved a hand. "Back at Azreal's we had a muggle chemistry class is what they called it. We first studied the things that we wizards over exagerate." Themea said scratching his chin. "Like caffine."

"Delaying focus you say? That's not the effect I observe when I have caffeine. Then of course, I suppose it could produce different effects depending on the context in which it was used.

Adam laughed "No explosions today thanks - although that does give me an idea for an outdoor lesson...". He poured the bottle of pepsi into the cauldron and reached for another ingredient. He held up a bottle filled with a red syrupy liquid for the class to see, then emptied it into the cauldron.

"That was cherry syrup - purely for the fact I like the taste" Adam said, another hint that the potion he was making would be drinkable.

"Now, I need three volunteers to help me stir this potion clockwise a few times" Adam said, eyeing the class.

" I will sir" said Kennedy.

Kerry raised her hand to volunteer, she had to make up for her foolishness in her previous class.

Curt heard runespoor eggs from Jasmine, "that was a great point" he thought to himself. Curt raised his hand, "Oh yeah, I'll help stir." said Curt enthused.

Torie raised her hand to volunteer. "I will, Professor!"

Liz's hand shot up. Oh pick me, she thought.

AJ stepped forward, "I'll stir it sir," she said quickly.

Whende beamed. So hopefully they'd blow something up later. She smiled when he dumped in cherry syrup. For a split second she was terrified that the stuff might be cough syrup. Cherry syrup, however, is good. This guy is the coolest teacher ever... But at the mention of stirring, she automatically took several steps back.

Themea watched the brave few raise their hands to stir. He thought back to his disscusion with Professor Belle. He then shook his head, leaned back and watched.

"True, Runespoor eggs would increase mental clarity. Just so happens I don't have any at the moment - and I don't think the COMC professor would appreciate me asking her for eggs to use as potions ingredients".

Adam handed long poles to Kennedy, Kerry and Curt, took one himself and placed it into the potion.

"Now if everyone not stirring could take a step back, and my volunteers follow me" he said as he started to take slow steps around the cauldron, keeping an eye on the potion inside. He was waiting for the colour change that symbolised the potion was ready for it's next ingredient.

Nikki saw that lots of other students had already raised their hand but she also did. "oh professor please pick me"

Sarah took a step back as the professor asked and watched the professor and the three students get to work

Kerry rolled her sleeves up, careful not to have them drape over the cauldron and took a long pole from the professor, stepping up to the potion, she very carefully stirred the potion clockwise a few times as instructed. "How am I doing professor? she asked, wondering how long to stir for.

Kennedy took the long pole from Professor Dresden and placed it into the potion. She followed him around the cauldron, matching the size of her steps to his, awaiting for something special to occur.

Curt confidently took the long pole from the Professor, I'm not gonna mess this up, he thought to himself as he followed the Professor walking around the cauldron, stirring clockwise very carefully..

AJ sighed, so she didn't get to help this time. Oh well, she'd just have to be faster next time then. She took a big step backwards and watched the others stir and walk in a circle around the cauldron.

Jake took a step back from the cauldron. He smelled a very strong aroma coming from the cauldron. It smelled quite good. He gathered a few facts that this would be some kind of wizard soda. Except much more caffeinated and better tasting.

Jasmine watched the professor pour in cherry syrup and guessed there would be no runespoor eggs after all. Then her mind drifted to the pepsi he poured in and the cherry syrup... Hmmmm she could go for a nice cold cherry coke right now..... Shaking her head she collected her thoughts and listened carefully to the professor.

Torie stepped back, a bit disappointed that she hadn't been picked, but still interested to see what would happen next. She ran a hand through the blond stubble which had just started growing back. Her blue eyes watched as the Professor and her fellow classmates began stirring the giant potion. She wondered what the next ingredient would be, and whether the teacher would include any more muggle ingredients. It was interesting to her to see so many of her normal home items coming into play in a magic school. In fact, she especially took notice of the fact that the Professor had dressed himself in a muggle t-shirt and jeans. Torie scratched absently at her neck, wishing herself to be out of her uncomfortable tights and into a nice pair of jeans.

MJ stepped backa as the professor had instructed. Her eyes sohne with excitement. She looked to see what would occur next.

Adam walked two full circles around the cauldron before he noticed the potion change from a pinky red colour to pale purple.

"Stop" he said to his assistants. "Thank you, have 2 points each." He took the stirring poles back off them and put them back against the wall.

"Everyone gather around and you'll see the potion has changed colour, which means the ingredients have bound together. It's nearly ready"
