Adam, once he had located the proper key, opened the door to the Potions Classroom. A large titanium cauldron much like the one in his office was in the middle of the room near a table which was located in front of a blackboard. He walked in, followed by his small black kitten Kasabian, who promptly jumped up on the table, curled around and went to sleep. Adam set his notes on the table and sat on it, waiting for the students to arrive. While he waited he magically lit all the candles in the room, which made up for the lack of natural lighting in the dungeons, and also warmed the room.
OOC: Class will start once a suitable number of students have arrived. Once I start class, don't post yourself arriving or you will be docked points, just act like you've been there all along. | |

" Well it depends professor. The drink has a lot of sugar which could be used just for taste. But then again it could mix the ingredients like a catalyst. Or it could use it for a better smell, maybe not even do anything. " Jake recited. The class was getting better by the question.

Kerry laughed as she saw the professor pour the "Pepsi" into the potion she raised her hand, "I agree that there will be carbination from the soda affecting the potion. There is also sweetners in it which may or may not interact with other ingredients, dyes, too." Kerry said, trying to think of some more properties.

"That is entirely dependent on a number of factors, including how much the drinker drinks, what other ingredients we choose to add to this particular potion and what the original energy level of the drinker is - if they are half asleep it's going to take a lot of caffeine to get them bouncing around"

Kerry smiled, happy to get points for Gryffindor. She loved practical hands on classes, and wondered exactly what kind of affect this potion would have on them when it was done. The caffeine would definitely boost their energy, she knew that much.
