Adam, once he had located the proper key, opened the door to the Potions Classroom. A large titanium cauldron much like the one in his office was in the middle of the room near a table which was located in front of a blackboard. He walked in, followed by his small black kitten Kasabian, who promptly jumped up on the table, curled around and went to sleep. Adam set his notes on the table and sat on it, waiting for the students to arrive. While he waited he magically lit all the candles in the room, which made up for the lack of natural lighting in the dungeons, and also warmed the room.
OOC: Class will start once a suitable number of students have arrived. Once I start class, don't post yourself arriving or you will be docked points, just act like you've been there all along. | |

Vince looked back in the cauldron, seeing his reflection visible enough to be seen. He felt like he was going to fall inside it, quickly looking back at the professor who put in the potion inside the cauldron, seeing it drop inside the liquid. Hearing another question, he raised his hand. He did not know the answer, so he had to take an intelligent guess. "Well, Professor," he said, thinking about his answer. "It is one of the remedies for calming down dark magic, and especially dementors," he said.

"Absolutely awesome and delicious," Whende began, but she actually did know a thing or two about chocolate. "It give you endorphans," she said. "Which... er... make you happy?" she suggested. Now that part was probably off. "And it's brown... It comes from a cocoa bean plant thing, so that makes it a vegetable. Thus, it is very good for you," she finished it off with a nod, barely able to keep in her laughter.

Caffeine is the most well known of these chemical ingredients, and while it's present in chocolate. Phenylethylamine is also found in chocolate. It's related to amphetamines, which are strong stimulants. Theobromine, a weak stimulant, is also present, in slightly higher amounts. The combination of these two chemicals (and possibly others) may provide the "lift" that chocolate eaters experience.

MJ's eyes light up. "Sugar!" was all she could say she was getting highper just by talking about chocolate. Hideki didn't let her eat candy at home because of the affect that it caused her to do. She would be so highper. "sugar, milk, cocco and I think that the warppers mention caffine.." she said trying to remember the ingirdients. Many of the studnets she noticed said it made them calm. It had the opposite affect on her it got her highper.

AJ raised her hand and spoke confidently and quickly, "Chocolate is a sweetener as well, and it gives of a very pleasent taste, and it has a small amount of caffeine in it as well... But what it would have to do in a potion I don't know," she said honestly, waiting to see what they'd be doing with this potion. Obviously drinking it, or he wouldn't've have focused on putting so many food ingredients in it. | |

"I don't think so - it's just my favourite" Adam said, shrugging. He opened the chocolate bar's wrapper and dumped it whole into the potion. The chocolate dissolved rapidly and faint wisps of white smoke erupted off the surface of the potion.
"Lets turn off the heat" Adam said as he magically put out the fire underneath the cauldron.
"It just needs to cool for a moment, then it'll be ready" he said, smiling.
