Adam, once he had located the proper key, opened the door to the Potions Classroom. A large titanium cauldron much like the one in his office was in the middle of the room near a table which was located in front of a blackboard. He walked in, followed by his small black kitten Kasabian, who promptly jumped up on the table, curled around and went to sleep. Adam set his notes on the table and sat on it, waiting for the students to arrive. While he waited he magically lit all the candles in the room, which made up for the lack of natural lighting in the dungeons, and also warmed the room.

OOC: Class will start once a suitable number of students have arrived. Once I start class, don't post yourself arriving or you will be docked points, just act like you've been there all along.

Sarah walked into the potions class and sat down in the middle and got her books out and got her potions ingrediants out as well

Suzy watched as her professor walked into class. She sat down near the front to get a good seat. Potions was one of her favorite classes. "hello Professor Dresden."

Kerry came into the class room, greeting the professor as she did, "Hello Professor, how are you?" she asked smiling.

Kerry sat down near the front of the room and awaited some more classmates to join her.

Jake walked into the room. He noticed there was a new professor; which weirdly seem to be near his age. He shrugged it off and walked to the back and sat down placed his books on the table and leaned back so his chair rested against the wall. He then said, " Hey professor. "

Kennedy entered the dungeons just after Professor Dresden, having just come from his office where they were discussing potion ingredients and flexibility with instructions. She was anxious for this class to start as she had been looking forward to it for days! She greeted Professor Dresden, "Well hello again sir! Long time no speak!" and took a seat in the front of the room. In preparation for class, she took out a quill, ink, parchment, her textbook, her cauldron, and her standard potions ingredients and arranged them all neatly on her desk.

Hayden had heard the first potions lesson of the year was about to start and quickly found his way to the classroom. He only got lost six times on his way and felt rather proud of his accomplishment.

Once inside the dugeons he noticed the teacher was sitting at his desk. He nodded at the professor and made his way to a seat near the front of the classroom. Setting his badly beaten bag on floor beside Hayden made himself comfortable.

Cassandra walked in and placed her books on the table before her. She was hoping she pulled her book out and placed it before her, opening to the end of the book and reading ahead.

As she read, she borught out her cauldron, gloves and protective glasses and placed them at her side. She loved potions, it was her favorite subject and she was good at it.

Ermagardle timidly walked into the class. She mumbled a quiet 'good morning' to the professor and sat down quickly at an empty desk.

Eternal smiled as she walked into the potions classroom. She always liked this subject. She also liked her new teacher, recalling when she met him at the Leaky Cauldron over the summer.

She found herself a seat and put down her parchment, quill, and ink bottle and waved to the Professor. "Good to see you again, Adam!" She said with much enthusiasm.

MJ walked into the classroom and as she passed by the teacher she smiled and said "Hello professor." As soon as she said that she began to walk towards her desk taking out her books and materials out. She sat downa and waited to hear the instructions.

Vince went inside the classroom, his Ravenclaw robe slowly touching the ground as he walked to a desk in the front row. "Hello, professor," he said, greeting him with a smile, wanting to learn much about Potions, sighing as the other class he had just went into was very chaotic. He looked at the professor, taking out his books. He sighed, waiting for the Potions Master to give the students instructions of what to do.

Adam thought it odd that the boy had waited til he sat down at the back before saying hello, but then Adam recalled how awkward he had been at that age.

A group of students seemed to enter all at once, and Adam didn't have time to greet them all individually. He remembered his plan for the start of the lesson and grabbed a box out from under the table.

Lifting one of the items inside up, Adam said to the gathering students "I'm new, as you probably already know. Some of you I have met before, others I haven't. Take one of these namebadges and then i'll know your names so I don't end up giving you innapropriate nicknames based on your appearance" he said, smiling.

Megan approached the front of the classroom and took a name badge. She wrote her name MEGAN in capital letters then made her way back to her desk.

Jasmine smiled at the professor and took a badge before going to a seat near the front. Seeing Kerry she smiled and sat next to her. Taking out her quill and inkwell she carefully wrote Jasmine Kavanaugh on the badge and attached it to her robes.

Cora walked up to the front of class and grabbed a name card. When she sat down she wrote her name in big letters on the card.

Kerry walked up and took a name tag. She smiled at the professor, "I know what you mean about calling people by their appearances, people call me shorty all the time, I'm getting quite used to it." Kerry grabbed a quill and wrote her name "I'm Kerry by the way," she said as she put the name tag on her robes.

Hayden looked at the box of namebadges before taking one. He got out his quill and wrote in large ledgible letters "trouble" on it before writing "aka Hayden" in super small script below it. Hayden did put his name on it, and the teacher never said put only your name on your namebadge.

Suzy took a badge and wrote her name on it. "Suzy" she wrote in blue becuase it was her favorite color.

Taylor, who had been by the door, walked in to the Potions Classroom and smiled. She glanced at the new professor and said, "Hello Professor," before walking down the desks and taking a seat next to MJ. She shot MJ a small smile before looking down at her textbook and then up at the professor. She ahd to admit, even though Potions wasn't her favorite subject, she was rather pleased with her acheivments in it and was looking forward to advancing in it.

After hearing the teacher speak, she stood and walked to teh front of the room, taking a name badge adn writing in her loopy handwriting 'Taylor Weasly' before resuming her posistion at her desk.

AJ took a name tag with a slight laugh and wrote very simply "AJ" on it. "What nicknames could you possibly come up with, Professor?" she asked him as she did so, with a smile.

She attached the nametag onto her robes, right on the other side of her Prefect badge, altho you really couldn't see the badge right there, due to her long black hair being in front of it, but she didn't care. Her hair was movable, but then again, so was the sticker nametag.

AJ thought about moving it to her forehead or something, but then again, she didn't want to make all the Slytherin students worry about the sanity of their Prefect. But being weird WAS so much fun.

Adam cringed as Eternal called him by first name. He was sure he'd had the professionalism talk with her in Diagon Alley. Oh well, it was only a slip, he raised a finger to his lips momentarily to signal to her that she shouldn't call him that.
