"That's great! Thank you again professor." nodding to her, she turned and went up to her owl, gently picking her up. She hooted a bit nervously until she saw who it was than seemed to cuddle up to her. Smiling Ariana gave her a gentle hug and said, "How about we go and get you some treats eh? You look like you could use them." The owl seemed to perk up at this and Ariana giggled. She waited until she jumped up onto her shoulder, gave the professor a final wave and smile before walking out the door.

Molly happily skipped into the Magical Creature Hospital and right over to the streelers. “Hi guys. Are you ready to play again?” she asked as she put on her dragonhead gloves and protective dragon hide kneepads. She went over and picked up a crate to transport the streelers out side to their playpen.

“Okay, one at a time” she said as she carefully picked up the four streelers and placed them into the crate. Molly took the crate outside and set it down next to the playpen. She wanted to make sure the charm was still in place around the playpen, so she called over one of the krups and tried to get it to enter the pen. “Good, it’s still in place. Now we can get to playing”

Molly took the streelers one by one and placed them into the playpen. They immediately started moving around the pen and one of the streelers turned the most brilliant blue Molly had ever seen. She sat for over an hour watching the streelers move around the playpen and play with the ball she had placed inside with them.

When it was time to go back inside, Molly picked the streelers up and placed them back in the crate. She took them inside and back in their cage. “I’ll be back to play with you later.” she said as she removed her dragon hide gloves and dragon hide kneepads. Molly cleaned up the area and headed out the door and back towards the castle.

"Right now! I hope you have fun together!"

Kennedy entered the Magical Creature Hospital in need of animal therapy. Whenever she felt stressed, spending time with animals, especially ones who needed her help in some way or another, was the best solution for calming her. She approached Professor Dainsie and asked, "Good afternoon Professor. Is there anything I can help with today? I have a quite a bit of time between classes so I am more than willing to take on any task you need completed."

"Oh, yes, please!" Phoebe said, her dark eyes shining with excitement. She looked around, and then spotted the unicorns. She crept towards them softly, singing a soothing song. She reached the unicorns. There were two of them. She was awed by their beauty. Then, out of nowhere:


"More radiant than a veela,
in the prime of her time,
more beautiful than the moon
sparkling on the still water
on the darkest night,
more elegant than a queen
in the midst of her ruling
more stunning magic itself-
for a unicorn, it is beauty,
and a unicorn, it is elegance,
and a unicorn,
it is pureness."

Were those words coming out of her mouth? Yes! They were! Not bad, either! she thought to herself. She ran back to Professor Dainsie. "Can I take care of the unicorns? Also, while I was looking at them just now, i came up with this..." And she recited the poem she had just made up. "Do you like it?" She waited for the answer to both of her questions.

She laughed a bit, out of surprise. She expected the professor to ask for more help "oh! Th-thank you professor!" she waved and looked over her shoulder at Professor Dainsie, "I'll see you soon then, thanks so much for letting me spend time with the new winged horses. They're beautiful! G'bye" she turned back, and walked away, smilieing to herself.

"I do have a job that requires a little bit of time. Out back there is a patch of ground that has been all dug up. The two nifflers over there really need to go out for some exercise and fun. There's a bucket in the stooreroom full of fake gold and jewels, just take them out first and sprinkle them around and rake them in. You might also use a charm to push them deeper underground. Then take 'em out and let 'em go! Think you could do that?"

She listened intently as the girl recited the poem. "That's beautiful, really captures what it's like to be around a unicorn. It's hard to express it if you've never done it, but that was great! Maybe we could put that on a poster and hang it up in here..." She trailed of in thought for a second, having an idea and making a mental note to remember it.

"The Unicorns can't be adopted or sponsored, but you are most welcome to spend some time with them."

Bess entered the Magical Creatures hospital....She went up to Professor Dainsie...."Hello professor!...I was just wondered if I could adopt this Kneazle?"
Bess pointed downwards where a fluffy golden kneazle was rubbing it's head against her leg....Bess looked hopefully into professor's face.....

"Absolutely! I'll get right to it." With a smile, Kennedy walked to the storeroom and obtained a rake and the bucket with the fake gold and jewels. She then exited the hospital through the back entrance and approached the freshly dug area of ground. Right in the center, Kennedy dumped the entire bucket of fake jewels and gold and then stepped away. She then removed her wand from the inside of her robes, pointed it at an individual jewel and cast "Locomotor fake garnet!" The jewel followed the direction of Kennedy's wand tip as she thought about where to place it. Finally she decided on a place, lowered the jewel to the ground and then cast a Banishing Charm. Kennedy hoped that by casting it strongly with a lot of force, that she could send the garnet-imposter away from herself and into the ground to whatever level she desired. She wasn't sure if it would work, so she tried it and sure enough, it did! Kennedy repeated this process several times until all the fake jewel and all but one piece of fake gold were buried in various locations throughout the patch of loose dirt. Kennedy raked over the area in order to make it appear as if there was nothing abnormal about it. She then took the final piece of gold, a 20inch gold link chain (0 Karat gold of course ) and laid it right on top for the nifflers to see. She hoped they would get excited by it laying right out in the open and then get to work!

Kennedy rested the rake up against a tree and re-entered the hospital through the back door. She obtained the two nifflers, one tucked under each arm, and brought them to the patch outside. As soon as the one on the left saw the glitter of the gold chain, he jumped out of Kennedy's arm and ran as fast as his little body could go until he reached the chain. Spotting what the other niffler had done, the one on the right leapt out as well and began digging nearby the first. The two nifflers continued on like this for quite a while and when the pile of jewels and gold that they collected filled the original bucket, the two nifflers seemed to slow down a bit. When they were done, they plopped down on the ground nearby the bucket of jewels and dozed off to sleep! Convinced that they were done exercising, Kennedy picked up each niffler and tucked one under one arm and the other under her opposite arm and entered the hospital again. Returning them to their cage, Kennedy went back out to obtain the bucket and pick up any strewn about jewels. To make sure that the nifflers found each piece, Kennedy performed a summoning charm to try to lift any possible remaining pieces from the dirt. When nothing arose from the ground, Kennedy thought 'OK, either they got them all, which is pretty likely, or my charm isn't strong enough. I guess I should test this out just in case.' Kennedy then took the very same garnet she had cast into the ground earlier and repeated the Banishing charm. She then stood back a ways and cast the Summoning Charm to test the strength of her spell. Immediately, the garnet rose through the loose dirt and floated above the ground. Convinced there weren't any pieces of fake jewelry left in the ground, Kennedy placed the garnet in the bucket, picked the bucket up with one hand, grabbed the rake with the other, and entered the hospital. After returning the items to the storeroom, Kennedy glanced down at her watch and realized she had been out there for almost 2 hours! She hadn't realized how fast time had passed but smiled when she thought back to how much fun it was to watch the nifflers dig like mad to find their buried treasure.

She approached Professor Dainsie and informed her, "The nifflers have gotten plenty of exercise. In fact, they were so exhausted from all their digging that they fell asleep! I put them back in their cages and brought the rake and bucket of jewels back into the storeroom. I hadn't realized how long I was out there but it was great! Thanks a lot. I still have about 45 minutes before I need to be anywhere. Would you like any help with something else?"

"Oh, thank you!" Phoebe said of Dainsie's compliment. "I actually didn't want to adopt or sponsor them unicorns...too much work. But, maybe I could groom them or something? Also, if you like I could make a banner of that poem...I can draw unicorns underneath the words...I am a good artist."She smiled at Dainsie. She thought of how good the unicorns would look once she was done grooming them. "Like they were made of moonlight," she whispered to herself.

Nat held Jack the Crup at an angle so the professor could peform the severing charm on his wagging tail. She kept stroking little Jack, who was squirming, trying to look round to see what the facination with his behind was. Nat watched eagerly, wanting to know how this was done. "Thanks professor," Nat said gratefully.

Amelia nodded in understanding, "Well, alright then. I will check out the winged horses." She smiled and waved goodbye to the black hippogriff, making her way to the winged horses. She found them and was amazed with some of the similarities that this creature seemed to hold to the hippogriff. Except the one she had her eye on was a snowy white. She looked over at Dainsie, to make sure it was okay to touch it. "Can I touch her? Or ride her?"

"You may, if you can describe some of their common physical characteristics."

"Ok, so when you perform the charm, move your wand in a slicing manner. This will seal the wound straight away and won't be painful. Ready?" She made sure the crup was still and concentrated on the stop she was to sever. Placing her wand about a half inch from the base of the tail, she quickly moved it in a cuttng motion. "There we go. See, he didn't even flinch!"

"You can pet her yes, but not ride I'm afraid. There is some grooming eqipment in the tack room if you'd like to give it a go."

"Oh, thank you, Professor!" Cora beamed and picked up her new, fluffy kneazle. "I'll call her...." She pondered for a moment. "Cassie."

Professor Dainsie hurried into the storeroom, a look of worry on her face. Moving around quickly and gathering various items and throwing them in a bucket, she quickly exited again out the back door and headed toward the animal pens.

Kennedy was still walking around in the Creature Hospital, when she noticed that Professor Dainsie looked extremely worried and rushed. She followed Dainsie out the back entrance of the hospital and asked, "Is everything ok? Can I help with anything?"

"Thanks Professor," Nat smiled, smilling at Jack. He was looking round at his tail to see what was happening, but didn't seem to be in any pain what so ever.

Thanking Professor Dainsie again, Nat started walking back up to the castle trying to juggle Jack and his things in her arms.

Melony walked in and gave Proffesor Dainsie a quick smile before going to the nearest cage and setting to work. Melony loved magical creatures and even had her own puffskein that went with her every where. Also, what could be better than earning house points just for doing something you wanted to do anyway. She got to do what she loved, working with magical creatures, and she would get house points in the process. It was a win win situation.

Cassandra walked into the Magical Creatures Hospital, her face in awe. She has never seen as many creatures in her life. "I wonder how many there are." She wondered. She saw a Kneazle purring against her leg. The Kneazle was a Hazel-ish color. Cassandra bent down and scratch the cat-like creature between the ears. Apparently she took a liking to this Kneazle. Cassandra then spotted Ptofessor Dainsie exit through the back door to the animal pens, which she(cassandra) followed. "Professor, I was wondering if I could adopt this Kneazle?" Cassandra asked, still sctraching the creature between the ears, which was know in her arms.

She paused for a second and thought. "Actually yes. I need a few people, 4 perhaps, to help me perform a stunning charm. If you could gather three other people and bring them out to the pens as soon as you can that would be fantastic. Anyone standing around, if you'd like to help please come forward."

Pauline caem to the creatue pen to check on Scoops. She hadn't seen him in weeks and he needed to be bathed and taken out for a ride. She walked up to the barn and heard Proffesor asking something but she didn't hear what it was. She went to Scoops stall and looked in. "Hello Boy," she said with a smile as Scoops came up to her. She pet his nose and fed him a carrot.

Jeff snoops about the clinic. All the animals seem normal.

"Kneazles have spotted fur,large ears and a lion-like tail."
Bess hoped that she was right....

Phoebe slowly approached the unicorns with a sugar lump in her hand. "Hey," she said soothingly, "It's all right, I'm not going to hurt you. Here..." And she gave a sugar lump to each unicorn. One of them nickered softly, and nuzzled her shoulder. She smiled and patted it. THe other one immediately nuzzled her too. Phoebe giggled, seeing them each want her attention. "Shh...shh...look, I love both of you," she murmured. She rubbed their noses, and said, "I'll be right back." she hurried up to Dainsie. "Professor Dainsie, what are the names of the unicorns?"

Kennedy nodded to Professor Dainsie and set about the hospital searching for available students who could help perform a stunning charm. There weren't too many students in the hospital at this time and the ones that were looked somewhat busy. Kennedy decided she would just make a general announcement to everyone, being sure not to speak too loudly so as to avoid startling the creatures resting the hospital but loud enough that people nearby her could hear her, "Would anyone be interested in helping Professor Dainsie and myself perform a stunning charm out back at the pens? It seems pretty important so if you're not too busy and you're capable, it would be a great help. We need at least three others. Anybody?"
