"Oh!" Cora flushed. "I'm sorry! What shall I do to...er...prove I'm worthy?" She looked longingly at the kneazle who was purring and grooming her soft, white fur.

"I'll do anything." Cora's eyes were blazing.

She thought for a second. "Tell me the main universal personality traits of a kneazle," she replied, waiting expectantly.

Pauline nodded at Proffesor Dainise. "NO problem, just want to make sure nothing happens to Hogwarts," she replied smiling innocently. "I mean it is my second home," she added and then asked. "Do you want the box for evidence?" she asked her holding the box up to show her.

"Yes, please." she replied, taking it from her. "I may need to speak to you again about this, so I'll send you an owl if I do."

Pauline nodded and said replied. "No problem proffesor, and Ok, hopefully i won't and this can be cleared up by talking to Whende," she said with smiled and started walking toward Scoops, so she could take him for a ride.

Molly's eyes glittered with excitement as the professor spoke. "Will do." she said as little Yogi the crup came running up to her. "Come on boy. Let's go check it out" she said as she led the crup out back.

They reached the Streeler playpen and Molly tried to lead Yogi inside, but to her relief, he couldn't enter. "Yes! It worked." Molly couldn't believe it actually worked. She bent down and petted Yogi before taking him back inside. She gave him a treat then went over and gathered the Streelers.

"Boy do I have a surprise for you" she said to the colorful creatures. She carefully placed them in a box and took them to their new playpen outside. Molly stayed outside for several hours playing with the Streelers. They slimed around their playpen and seemed to be rather happy.

After letting the Streelers play until they looked very tired, Molly gathered them back up and took them inside. She cleaned up the play pin and headed over towards the professor. "Professor they loved it. If it's alright with you, I am going to come back every day and let them play. I just hate that they are cramped up in here all alone."

She smiled brightly, "That would be fantastic! I'm glad the charm worked for you. Make sure you wear your dragon hide gloves when you handle them at all times."

"Thank you so much! In the meantime, is there anything I can do?" Phoebe said, much relieved.

Amelia looked up at her, slightly disappointed. But she understood that hippogriffs were dangerous creatures and could see where the professor was coming from. However, she was so beautiful... oh how she wanted to fly her across the lake and feel the breeze in her hair.

"It's okay, I understand. But is there anything that I can do to prove that I am worthy enough to handle a hippogriff?"

" Great! Thank you so much! I'll take good care of Fuzzle!" Melony replied. She left talking to Fuzzle about how he was going to love being her pet and how he is going to love her loving and friendly kitten, Bear, and her owl, Tanner.

Ariana came into the Magical Creature hospital looking for professor Dainsie. Finding her she walked up to her, Saria her owl swinging gently, bbut sorrowfully on her arm. Smiling up at the professor she said in a strong voice which didn't match her demeanour, "My owl's hurt sir. I went to Professor Maline and she said her wing is broken and to come to you to fix it." she looked hopefully, yet nervous. She hoped the Professor could fix her; Saria meant the world to her, and to know she was hurting hurt Ariana greatly. She also wondered how she could have broken it; there was nothing around here that would willingly attack an innocent owl, unless...she shook the thought out of her head and waited.

"I'm sorry no. It is only with my supervision that students can approach them. However, you can approach the winged horses as long as you stay on the outside the pens."

She peered at the bird, seeing that the wing was clearly broken. "My my, there seems to be a lot of injured owls coming in lately! Send my thanks to Professor Maline for sending you here. Let's fix her shall we?" She took the owl and sat it on a nearby table. Splinting the wing so the bones were aligned in the correct position, she pointed her wand at it and muttered wordlessly. The wing seemed to glow momentarily, and the owl gave out a low hoot. "There, that should have fixed it, but I'd like to keep her over night just to make sure, ok?"

Cora pondered for a second, only a second before smiling.

"The Kneazle has the uncanny ability to detect unsavory or suspicious characters and can be relied upon to guide its owner to safely home if they are lost. Also, they are independant, intelligent and occasionally aggressive, though if they take a liking to a witch or wizard, they make excellent pets...."

She broke off, unsure as to whether that was what the Professor wanted.

Lua followed professor Dainsie towards the cages, gasping for air when she pointed out Fat Louis between the cages "He..... Looks different" she managed poking her finger inside the cage to stroke him "He lost so much weight, if it wasn't for the black spot between his eyes, i would have said this is not my cat" she giggled slightly, "I need to change his name now... from Fat Louis to Thin Louis.. or maybe just Louis" she said excitedly "When can i take him ma'am? And what about his diet? Anything special i should be giving him? Or keep away from him" she asked glancing at Louis once and a while.

Ariana smiled happily, glad her owl was okay. Nodding she replied, "Of course, she looks like she needs rest. Thank you so much professor! I'll come by after classes tomorrow and pick her up. Thank you again!" with a warm smile, Ariana turned and began to move towards the door, thrilled she was fine.

"Is there anything I can do?" Phoebe repeated. "Unicorns to tend to, nifflers to keep out of trouble, anything? I'd be happy to help, if you need it...I-I can take care of anything. my parents used to own some sort of magical creature zoo, (which I was against), and they made me take care of all the animals except the dragons, so I am up to anything..." She smiled. It was true!

"Excellent! I think all is in order then. Fill out an adoption form for me. There is a carry pen and food in the storeroom that will be the right size. Just come back down and get refills when you need more food." She reached into her pocket and pulled out a form:

I, ________ here by accept the animal _______ into my care. I understand that it is my obligation to take good and responsible care of said animal. I also authorise that I be monitored in my care, and should I not meet suitable standards, I will forfeit the animal back to the Magical Creature Hospital.

She smiled, knowing that it would be quite a shock. "You can take him right now, I'm sure you have lots of catching up to do! And as for diet, keep down to two small feeds a day and make sure he gets plenty of exercise."

Lua tried to restrain herself from knocking Professor Dainsie down with hugs, but that was no use. She did work miracles with Louis and she deserved a big hug, "Thank you thank you thank you .. Professor Dainsie" she squeed leaping onto her with a hug "ohhhhh" she sighed moments letter releasing the professor from her grips. "I shall make you Pie, yes.. I'll bring you Pie" she sang in excitement getting hold of Louis's cage.

She glanced sideways at Louis and shook her free index finger "Hear that Louis, two servings and exercise" she tittered "Ohh, how nice it is to have you back" poking her finger inside the cage to stroke him again.

"Can we be be pardoned now Professor, or do i need to sign release papers?" she inquisited clinging tightly to Louis's cage.

Professor Dainsie smiled and hugged her back, giggling when Lua mentioned pie. "That's not necessary, he was a pleasure to look after. Maybe we could try skating again though later in the term. Hopefully the school wont be infested with frogs this time... anyway, no you are free to go. Have fun!"

Cora beamed and took the form.

Michiko walked into the horse stalls, (not winged) and noticed a few needed to be mucked out. She led one of the horses out of it's stall and tied it's reins (VERY tightly) around a nearby fence. she kept her eye on the horse as she mucked out the stall and put some brand-new hay in it. Then, she led the horse back into it's stall. She did this to four other horses and their stalls. Once she had finished that, it had been two hours. She still had time. She wanted to spend more time with the horses, so she groomed the five who's stalls she had cleaned out. After another hour had past she leaned against a wall and smiled, satisfied. She walked back over to Professor Dansie and smiled politely.

"Professor, I just mucked out five stalls, and groomed their horses a bit. Is there anything I can do to help before I leave?"

"Yes ma'am, skating will be exciting, it would be my pleasure" she replied with a grin, Professor Dainsie was a spectacular skater and she would definitely not miss this skating opportunity "Thanks again" she added bidding the professor fairwell and walked towards the exit.

Ariana came back into the magical creature hospital to pick up her owl. Looking around she noticed a few students doing various chores and tendingto soe of the animals around the room which looked ill or neeeded food and couldn't help but smile as she saw Saria, sleeping with one wing over her head. Se looked perfectly fine now and Ariana was glad. Not wanting to wake her she looked for professor Dainsie and said happily, "Hello professor, I"m here to pick up my owl. How is she?"

"No, that's enough for one day, thank you!"

"She's great. The healing went well so she is back to normal health wise. There may be some difference in personality for a little while though, like timidness and quietness. It should go away after a little while with regular routine."

Cora handed the Adoption form back to Professor Dainsie. "When can I pick her up?" she asked, gzing at the kneazle who was licking her paws.
