Professor Erikson walks in and sets up the classroom, putting little paintbrush-looking things at each seat. On a blackboard he writes, "I have been called away on an important matter for the Ministry. Professor Blaylock will be substituting for me. I hope to be back before the end of class. Please treat Blaylock the same as you would for me, only actually pay attention. I will state the status of the quarantined plants when I return."

Checking everything over once more, he dashes out.

ooc: As you come in, please describe the plant with you. If you aren't sure how to describe it, refer back to the previous thread. A small key:

Over-watering: Very broad leaves
Under-watering: Very narrow leaves
Too much sun: Tall and straight, bamboo-ish, bright green
Too little sun: Short and spread out, a little viney, grayish

If you want to go into more detail, feel free to check the last lesson. If you come to the thread late, go ahead and describe it while looking at it with the first post you make. If you post walking in after class has started, you will still be penalized. Please remember to say what color the flowers are. Even if you've mistreated your plant, it should still be blooming. I mean, it is a magical plant, after all.

He rolled his eyes at Bucky. "I was talking about the plant, Buckles." Geez, she always took what he said the wrong way. . . maybe she ought to have her head examined. Tag leaned forward with his hand on his chin, staring at her vibrant hair. He'd examine it for her.

What? Perform? Ther was no way she was going to perform in front of anybody! Ariana sat rooted to her chair in shock as Professor Blaylock started singing again. She didn't care if she had to wear a dunce cap or whatever, she was NOT singing! Crossing her arms, she wished sanity would come back and bring the class to normal.

Molly almost fell off her chair when Professor Blaylock placed the cap back on Evans head. "I hope she makes you keep it on for the rest of the year." she whispered as the song lyrics were written on the board.

Jasmine started singing the song loudly with a grin,then swatted Keller on the back of the head, indicating he should be singing as well.

Keller did beak out into a full laugh though when the Profesor made the hat permanently stick to Evan's head...he was sort of a jerk sometimes. But with the swat on the back of his head from Jasmine Keller followed the intended directions and began singing.

Evan's mouth fell open as Blaylock performed her little charm and stuck the hat to his head. He stared at her in disbelief for a moment, then chuckled loudly. "Oh really, Professor. Stop trying to look so mean, I know very well you wouldn't dare do such a thing to a poor and helpless student," he said with a smirk. Evan then proceeded to take the hat off, but to his surprise, it just wouldn't buldge, no matter how hard he pulled on it. Cursing under his breath, Evan grabbed a pair of scissors that was lying on his desk, and tried to cut pieces of the hat off, withouth success. Scanning the room in panic, Evan shouted in Bucky's general "Take it off, will you!"

"Buckles?" She repeated.

He just had a never-ending supply of nicknames for her, didn't he? And why was he staring at her that way. Hyperventilating slightly, she coughed before clearing her throat.

"Yah--you, what are you looking at?"

She ran a hand through her hair and face, just to make sure she didn't have something nasty on her. Forget Herbology. She had other things to worry about.

Natasha could hardly control the laughter, and just before the final like "Botanical copulation." she tapped Ariana on the shoulder, "Big finish, Ariana! Lead us into it!"

The music had reached a crescendo, just waiting for Ariana to sing the last words and end the song.

Natasha stopped by Evan on the way back to her desk and took the scissors from him, "Nope, don't you dare. You'd cut all that pretty hair off, now join the class in the last line or you keep the hat on for a year."

Molly saw Evan trying to cut the hat off and she suddenly felt sorry for him. She pulled out her charms book and started flipping through the pages. "Don't panic, there has to be something in here that will work." She felt just horrible about the way she had acted towards him.

Bucky's hair was tantalizingly shiny. He wanted nothing more than to reach out and pet it. His hand twitched.

"Looking for lice," Tag lied. Ah! That's better.

Caitlin shot a death glare at Evan. If he lost any points for their house -

She leaned over and whispered in his ear what would happen to him if he did. Hopefully, it'd set his mind shtraigh and he'd calm down.

Then, sitting back up, she continued to hum the song.

Jasmine laughed again and gave Keller a pat on the shoulder for singing. Then when glanced at Ariana's horror sticken face as she was told to sing the last verse, she reverted back to full blown giggles.

Ariana sat there as professor Blaylock came up to her and asked her to finish off the song. She sighed heavily and stood up,finally deciding, hey what the hey it might be fun and stood on her desk, almost knocking her plant to the ground before filling her lungs with air and elting out the final words "Botanical copulation." in an mickey mouse-type voice.

She held the last word the longest until there was no air left, took a bow and sat down face as red as a tomato. Now everyone knew she couldn't sing. Sinking back into her chair, she wished the floor would open up and swallow her whole.

Keller grinned as the Professor came over to Arianna and told her to finish the song off. But he was taken over with a full blown laugh as she jumped onto her desk and finshed it off.

Caitlin burst out into a mad fit of giggles. This was, by far, one of the craziest lessons she'd ever taken place in!

Evan glared at Blaylock. Who knew she was a big meanie? "Fine," he finally hissed through clenched teeth as he started singing the silly song. Glancing at Molly, he stopped singing for a second and added darkly "Don't bother, Woodpecker. You don't even know how to use a wand, remember?"

"Perfect!" Natasha said, ending the music, laughing at their lyrics. Oookay, she had stalled as best as she could think of, and now there was nothing to it...

"Great, now everyone, pair up and bring out your plants, we're gonna try to cross-pollinate!" She said excitedly. This class really wasn't so bad, maybe she should switch with Armand more often.

Kennedy stood up and cheered when Ariana finished the song. "Nice job Ariana!" Laughing, Kennedy settled back into her seat, feeling quite relaxed and gleeful.

Emily laughed as the class finished out the song. Ariana looked so relieved to be done with her solo. What was going on with Tag and Bucky? She looked like she was blushing, and he looked like he was enjoying it. Evan and Molly were also having their own little drama. This was definitely a class to remember.
