Natasha stood frozen at the entrance of the greenhouse, an expression of sheer terror written on her face. How on earth was she going to pull this off? She caught herself and strode to the front, where Armand had left all his notes, and waited for the chaos to begin.

OOC: Go easy on me and her. Please.

Chloe entered the Herbology classroom, expecting to see the man from the last class. She didn't even remember his name. But instead, she recognized the woman standing in the classroom as the Divination professor. "Uh. I'm not in the wrong room, am I? I don't like Divination," she commented, standing next to the door. She wasn't going to sit down until it was confirmed that she was in the correct classroom. There were plants all over, yes, but it still didn't explain why this woman was in the Herbology room.

Emily strode towards the Herbology classroom with a plant in her hand. It had beautiful yellow flowers and broad leaves. Its stalks were somewhat grayish and small.

Emily walked into the classroom and was surprised to see a different professor. "Hello, Professor. Are you taking our lesson today?"

Ali strolled in through the door to the Herbology room and stopped in the doorway. A shocked expression on her face. She wondered why the Divination professor was there, then she saw the note and finally understood what was going on. She walked inside. "Good morning professor."

Natasha waved the Ravenclaw in, "You're in the right room..." though I may not be, she thought nervously, "Come in and wait for the rest...I'll explain it all in a while."

Celestina walked into the classroom with a pathetic look on her face. She hadn't done as well with her plant as she would have liked but she was distracted! So many things to do! So much homework! The drama and what wasn't drama and her thoughts often derails from what should be her main focus: School.

She carried her plant in her arms. The vines were thin and sprayed out and it seemed lost inside the pot. Although the leaves were slightly green they were narrow and thin. It did have pretty flowers. A brilliant blue.

She took a seat and read what Erikson had wrote all the time she frowned heavily at Blaylock....

Kennedy entered the Herbology Classroom with her Amore Fraterno plant in hand. The plant had grown quite nicely in the two weeks since the last class - it now had fairly broad, but not excessively so, leaves of a deep beautiful green color, dark blue flowers, and stood at 16 and one-quarter inches in height.

As she entered the room, she spotted Professor Blaylock but not Professor Erikson. Then she noticed the writing on the board and immediately understood. Kennedy greeted Professor Blaylock, who happened to be one of her favorite professors, "Hello ma'am. So you're teaching herbology today? Well after the floriography lesson I'm sure you'll be great! If you need any help with anything I would be more than happy to lend a hand!"

Ali walked over to a desk and placed the plant on the table. The vines were tall and straight and the leaves were narrow. She frowned as she put it down, then looked at the professor again and waited for the other students to come in.

Professor Blaylock smiled gratefully at the young Ravenclaw, "Thank you, Kennedy...you're a peach."

She scanned through the notes Armand had left for her, trying not to burst into tears or run out the door or go completely insane with nerves.

After a perfectly dull Potions, where absolutely nothing had blown up or made Whende's song-writing inspiration, Tag followed Bucky into the classroom carrying his own plant. He'd promised Professor E that he'd sit at the desk this time, but he hadn't promised anything about watering a plant. To his surprised, it was Blaylock at the front of the classroom. Well! He hadn't promised her anything at all!

He plopped down next to Bucky and pushed his pot closer to hers. "My plant thinks your plant is one ugly piece of greenery!," he whispered, just to antagonize her. At least Bucky's plant had a flower. He was jealous.

Molly entered the room plantless. Her little plant was still in quarantine and she wasn't sure when it would be released. “Um, professor? Do you want me to observe another students plant or just take notes since my plant is in quarantine?’

Professor Blaylock just stared at the student for a moment. "Wha- Right! Yes, hmm...Professor Erikson must have forgotten to tell me about that."

Merlin, what else had he forgotten to tell me? She thought, scared out of her wits.

"Well, Just observe for a while then, dearling. Go sit with one of the other students...we'll just wait for Professor Erikson to come back and he'll sort you out."

Chloe eyed the woman for a moment, then completely entered the classroom and spotted the blackboard. "Oh," she muttered quietly to herself. She snickered at the part about paying attention. How could she possibly do that with a different professor in the classroom? It would be darn near impossible.

Finally, she walked over to a table and set her plant down. It had narrow leaves and was a little viney. There were too many things going on for her to worry about a silly plant. She was very pleased to see that it was blooming though. It was a shade of deep blue.

"Will do." she said as she picked up her books and took a seat at the table next to where she was. Molly was worried that she wouldn't do well in the class since she had already made her plant sick.

Celestina was aware of Tag's presence but she was trying to ignore him. Last Herbology lesson she hadn't paid attention at all thanks to him. It looked like this one was going to be the same. Clearing her throat she was about to warn Tag about sitting next to her and how much of a distraction he was but then he spoke....and not nicely about her plant either.

"Oh yeah? Well my plant thinks yours looks like someone tried eating it," she snapped back, brushing her bangs away from her eyes. "Well, did you? Are you into eating homework now?"

Deep Breaths. She sighed and continued frowning at Blaylock.

Caitlin smiled at the classroom, clutching her plant carefully with her left hand. It was starting to get heavy, and she wanted to trade hands, but everytime she ried to move it to her right hand, she winced in pain. Sprained wrists suck.

However, upon setting it down onto the table, she got a good look at it. The flowers now shone a beautiful, soft violet. The height of her plant was perfect; it wasn't too tall, as if all it had done was sunbathe, and it wasn't too short, as if were composed of vines. The leaves, however, were a little thick and masculine looking, but to Caitlin that was better than them being narrow and too feminine.

As she looked around once more, she another Professor in the room. Interesting - very interesting.

Ariana sat in her seat in Herbology with her miserable looking plant in hand. It had just begun to sprout and had a bamboo-like stem coming out of the soil. The leaves were unnoticable as of yet, which worried her, but she would make it happen soon. She wondered if her plant was completely lost, no chance of susvival. There were no flowers even!

She looked around and saw all the other plants and sighed. THey looked way better than hers did. She was no gardener it seemed. Pulling out her quill she waited.

Natasha noticed the tension and shook her head at them, "Now, now, dearlings, try to get along...and don't scowl so, Miss Warbuck, you'll end up with frightful lines."

Who cares about lines? she thought, what if she blew up the greenhouse?! Oh Merlin, I'm going to be sick...

Ali looked at Professor Blaylock. "So since you are substituting for Professor Erikson, are you going to teach, or will you just watch us observe our plants??"

Celestina blushed. She wish she could tell Blaylock that Tag was the one who started it but that would be very childish of her plus, although she complained, without Tag everything seemed to be a bit boring.

Lines? She touched her face thoughtfully.

"Yes, Professor Blaylock," she said lastly.

Her only apology.

Evan eyed the Divination professor with a suspicious look on his face. not only did she look like she was about to be sick, but she also didn't seem to know what to do at all, which was very unnerving to Evan. Deciding not to pay attention to her anymore, he decided to focus on the plant he had brought instead. It was very bright and tall, and the brownish leaves were barely hanging on the stem, which couldn't be a good sign. Surprisingly enough, orange flowers had bloomed. They stunk horribly, however.

Pinching his nose, he glanced around the classroom and winked playfully at Bucky, who was sitting just a few seats away, on his right.

Jasmine walked intothe greenhouse with her plant and made her way to a seat in the front. Reading the note Professor Erikson had left she frowned and looked a bit crestfallen. Then she turned and looked at Professor Blaylock who would be substituting. Oi! This will be interesting. Giving the professor a friendly smile, Jasmine said," Hello Professor Blaylock." The look on the professor's face was making Jasmine start to giggle and she wondered if this class would end up like the Divination classes did. Still giggling a bit she went on to say,"Don't worry professor I'm sure you will do fine, and you will be happy to know there are no livers in here."

Professor Blaylock smiled shakily at the student, "I'm actually going to teach you! Herbology!" she said, rather incredulously.

Looking around the class, satisfied at the turnout, she clapped her hands to call for their attention, "Good m-morning, students! Now...I know you're all thinking 'what is SHE doing here?', trust me...the thought has occurred to me a few times in the past hour. Anyhoo, Professor Erikson was called away on urgent business, but he will be returning halfway through the class, and he's asked me to substitute for him while he conducts his ... business."

She sat awakwardly on Armand's desk and said, "So, everyone pair up with someone who has a different coloured flower on their plant from yours."

She caught sight of the winking boy and frowned, "Excuse me, Mr Cassels? Have you got dirt in your eye? Would you like to borrow my compact?"

Caitlin looked around. Her flowers were a light violet ... She didn't really know anyone in the class, however, so she just sa at her desk, humming to herself.
