| | |  Lesson One: Amore Fraterno
Lined along a slightly cleared set of tables are empty pots, and by each one was a small bag of soil (amazingly just enough to fill the pot). Along the center of the table were just grab bags of fertilizer, peat moss, pebbles, stones, mulch, compost, and miscellanious other bits of gardening supplies. And of course, there were little shovels and rakes right next to each pot. At the head of the line of tables was Professor Erikson, with small boxes of various colored opalescent seeds in front of him. He waited patiently for the students to arrive.

Kerry entered the classroom, about to take the last bite of peppermint still in her hand, when she remembered there was no eating food in the classroom. Kerry stuffed the peppermint in her pockets, as she viewed the bag of fertilizer, she thought to herself this would be a wise move anyway as she may need the peppermint again later.
Walking over to a table, Kerry once again greeted the Professor. "It's very good to see you again sir." as she smiled and found a seat nearest his desk, awaiting her classmates to join her.

Kennedy entered the Herbology Classroom anxious for it to begin. She had just come from a rather interesting lesson of Divination and needed to wind down a bit. She hoped that Herbology would help her relax. She greeted Professor Erikson, "Hello sir, how are you this afternoon?" and stood near the middle of the table, looking over all the supplies that were laid out.

Ariana entered the classroom, holding her stomache still a little nauseous. She gave the professor a bright green-faced smile howevver and said cheerfully, "Hello professor!" as she stood to the side, her bag over her shoulder, body slouching slightly. She didn't have time to take anything for her nausea and was determined not to let it bother her.

Vince started walking into the classroom, his Ravenclaw robe touching the floor as he took many steps to the table, seeing the supplies that were later going to be given. He looked at the professor, noticing he was a new professor. Herbology was one of his favorite classes, so he was very excited. Smiling, he said, "Hello, professor." Waiting for further instructions he gave a quiet sigh and scratched his hair. Many people were rapidly coming in the classroom, waiting for more to come in.

Kerry, knowing anymore talking could get her into trouble, turned her attention to the front of the class and awaited class to begin.

"Hello Professor, remember me, Cora Abbott? I helped you out in the greenhouse earlier this term. I brought my Amore Fraterno that you had me get a head start on, and I covered it like you asked me to. What would you like me to do with it?" she asked.

He looked at Ariana, and noted that there might be some distractions. He walked out a moment and came back with a jar with leaves in it. He labeled it for students just coming in, offering each one to help themselves. "Peppermint, for anyone who is still nauseous from their last class. This is one of the rare moments I'll let you eat something in my class, alright?"
He looked at Cora and smiled. "Very good! Just keep it covered, my dear. I'm going to have the students look at some other examples first and then you can show it off."

Ariana walked up nervously to the jar or peppermint and took some. Eating it slowly, she said, "Thank you profssor. I didn't have enough time to visit the Hospital wing, it won't happen again," taking a bit more for later, she went back to whre she was standing before and began to feel better. More alert, she waited.

Celestina walked into the classroom feeling quite exhausted. The week hadn't exactly been what you would call pleasant. She nodded at the professor politely before taking her seat. She never did strike up conversation with the staff with the exception of a few terms back with Professor Virohsa and the Headmistress. Spooky.
She chose an empty seat, the seats on her side also available for whoever decided to arrive later. Her hair was lose and she was contemplating making it into a lose braid or bun as she eyed all the odd contraptions. Herbology was never her forte. | |

Jasmine smiled but did not take any peppermint. She was used to plants and fertilizer and everything associated with growing them. Her mother being a Healer, she cultivated many different plants both magical and non. But looking around at all the pots on the desk, Jasmine wished she had paid more attention when her mother was teaching her.

Chloe entered the Herbology classroom, expecting to see a strict-looking woman named Virohsa that she was ordered to terrorize. But instead, her eyes fell on a man. The woman was gone! How disappointing.
Oh well, she thought, taking out her notebook to take notes on the class. She had to find a nice place to observe for now. Chloe's main intentions were to cause trouble for Virohsa, but now that the woman had left Hogwarts, she wasn't so sure this new fellow deserved it. Hmm. Well, she would just see how things went before deciding whether or not to cause chaos.

Natasha peered into the entrance of the greenhouse, glad for the invitation. Oh Merlin...she thought, as she caught sight of various students who had been in her class. "Hello Armand..." she said in a hushed voice as she walked up to where he was. She was still quite pale from holding the liver and then having it smeared all over her, but walking and the fresh air was helping tons, "Thank you for the invitation...it was very thoughtful of you."
She didn't really want to disturb the lesson, so she thought of leaving when he began the actual teaching. | |

Tag slunk into the back of the classroom, regretting having to attend class after the perfect humiliation that was Divination, and also becoming slightly worried about his parting comment to Professor Blaylock in her office. Avoiding his own housemates like the plague, Tag slipped into a spot next to Bucky. Safe, safe Bucky. Maybe she would even ignore him. After all, Griffindor had done quite well in the last period.
When Professor Blaylock entered the classroom, Tag immediately ducked under the table. What? Is she following me? Did she come to drag me off again?"Don't let her see me!" Tag whispered frantically to his desk partner.
