Lainey had spent at least a few hours painting her face. At least. But, she was pleased with how she'd made blue swirls on her cheeks and some more random red dots here and there. It was perfect.
Lainey had paints and brushes and mirrors laid out for everyone else as well. It was time for History of Magic to begin once more! Lainey propped open her door and stood by it, waiting for her students to arrive. | |

Kennedy was startled when flecks of paint attacked her from the direction where Aurora was. Realizing it was no accident, Kennedy took her paint brush, dipped it into the red body paint, and drew a long line down Aurora's face, then neck, and then... the front of her shirt! She made sure to leave a nice big blob of paint right where Rori's bellybutton was. Kennedy laughed at how silly Aurora looked now.

Glancing at Professor Lainey with surprise, then back around the classroom, now that sounded scary. She didn't trust any of those students, they can literally do anything, she glanced back worriedly at Leo.

Aurora noticed that she looked like a moving archery target now and couldnt stop laffing. She picked up her loaded brush to flick it at KK again, but it missed and hit one of the other studetns in the back of the head. "Ooops. Sorry!"

He made the puppet so the puppet could wreak havok on the communty while Gepetto went along his merry way, learning the secrets of the government so he could do something evil afterwords? Why else would Pinocchio be like that if Gepetto didn't do something when he made him in the first place?" ok, made no sense at all but her it was something.

Celestina grimaced and drew a squiggly green line on Elly's face then a dot on her nose then raised her brows at Leo. "Well, I'm sure this person didn't go as far as trying to hex a Professor or snitch on fellow housemates. If that's not attention seeking then I don't know what is. Not to mention the incessant flirting but hey what do I know," she finished in a whisper and raised her hands in a sign of peace.

"Maybe he was some kind of creepy, creep. I dont know. Maybe he belonged in St Mungo's coocoo ward." Aurora hadnt the faintest idea at this point. But she once had heard about a muggle that made friends with a volleyball on an island.

She pouted playfully, "Yeah, first year here," She answered while dipping a new brush into orange paint and gave Bucky an orange beauty mark on her left cheek. Then she retrieved the green again and outlined Bucky's eyebrows then filled them in with yellow. She giggled at the sight, "Oh this is great fun!" She was really enjoying the older girl. "Now you look fashionably crazy!" Eleanor laughed as she said this.
Then she was shocked. "How could you not have a boyfriend?" Elly was beside herself to think that a pretty girl like Bucky didn't have someone to call a boyfriend!

For some odd reason Trent Hirty, the respectable Scottish gentleman had managed to trap himself inside the cupboard of the History of Magic classroom. He had been snooping and had not realised that moments later a lesson was about to start, he made for the cupboard and hid there - he could not be caught out! How absurd!
The woman seemed to be talking about painting fish faces, puppets and bad fairies. It was official, Angelica Lainey had gone starkers! He had to pity her, a woman who had been so isolated from her love, who just so happened to be the Dark Lord of this time, was bound to go coo coo at one point. He guessed the second History of Magic lesson this term was the appropriate time for her.
He covered his mouth with his hand to mute his breathing and stood positively still so as not to create a sound. Hogwarts and its stupid non apparation rule.

Leo nodded his head at her question. Oh yeah he was fine, he was just a bit shocked, that's all. Coughing for the last time, he looked around the class and gave them the Moretti glare, a glare so frightful that it would make a pregnant woman deliver her baby.
"I'mma go get us some paint, Lu" he told Lua as he stood up and headed to Bucky. "I need this paint" he told her, but too late. The paint had spilled all over. "Sorry" he smiled weakly

"Yes, very much so," she replied to the girl and added brown paint around her eyes. "I'll make you look like some.....zombie pixie hybrid. Oh, boyfriend schmoyfriend," she replied with a shrug and shook her head. "Honestly. Just be thankful hormones haven't hit you next. One day you're thinking about climbing a tree the next you're trying to find a way to climb up the boys dormitory."
Not that she was thinking about that. Next thing she knew Leo had dumped paint on her.
"Oh, well it's Muggle Studies all over again," she exclaimed and waved Leo away. "Never mind. I'm sure there are some cloths in that cupboard over there and some more brushes I think I nearly killed this one."
She stood up and had already one hand on the handle to open the cupboard doors when Eliza started going berserk.
"Alright Little Miss Psycho, take a chill pill," she replied and opened the doors. She stared at what was inside and immediately slammed the doors shut. "Never mind. I think I'll be fine for the rest of the lesson."

Eliza looked at Bucky,fire in her eyes "Psycho?Psycho?!" she repeated what Bucky had said in disbelief.She put her hands on her temples and began to massage them to try and keep her cool,what had just happened? Why had she suddenly gotten so angry? She needed a rest--a nice little nap--In one of the beds in St Mungos! Eliza shook her head,why had she thought that?What was wrong with her?Oh dear! Something was defiantely wrong,this wasn't what she was usually like!
She removed her fingers from her face to find paint all over her fingers.
She shrugged and began rubbing the paint around in circles,making her face a complete mess.

Lainey sighed."Well, you may all be right. He probably was just a lonely old geezer with nothing else better to do. However, according to those love silly,naive muggles it went something more like... Gepetto loved but did not court a certain woman named Leona. Leona married Gepetto's brother instead. In that earlier time, he carved her initials with his onto a tree. His brother dies , and though he still feels for Leona, Gepetto is still too shy to woo her. Instead, the old puppet-maker goes into the forest and cuts down a tree in order to make a puppet just for himself. The tree is the same one he carved his initials into when he was younger, and it has the magic of his love in it. Soon after the puppet Pinocchio is made, he comes to life." Lainey made a barfing face after the story was over.
"Honestly, muggles are mad with all this love stuff. But, there's a good part coming up. Anyone know what happens next? Evil magicican ring any of your muggle born students bells'?"
Lainey noticed a few students.. splattering paint. Interesting... Lainey glanced at the cupboard with a raised eyebrow.

Ariana said quietly, raising her hand as her other hand finished off the pink dolphin with soem red paint. She had read the story when she was extermly young, when hrer powers weren't developed yet, when she thought she was a Muggle even though she's a pureblood.

"Um, i guess I can try." Aurora stood, pulled up her paint spalttered sleves and drew her wand. then she slipped in some paint on the floor and fell like a sack of spuds. "Owwie!!!" She sat back in her seat rubbing her head.
"Professor, I think you should get it. and to answer your question, he had a conscience problem in the from of a bug. or maybe it was an animagus?"
Aurora continued to rub her head. now she was starting to see stars.

Lorenzini at the time was known for luring children to his show, only to later turn them into donkeys. Donkeys are useful creatures, and Lorenzini made a lot of money selling them." Lainey grinned. Ah, now that was a story.
However, there was really something, or someone in her closet. With her wand, Lainey opened the doors up and flung a huge, hunking ball of blue paint into her cupboard. It wasn't until after she'd splattered its entire contents, that she realized that it was Mr. Hirty. "Oh." Lainey looked around, clearly embarrassed that she'd just splattered a peer. "Err... .paint fight!" Lainey then started shooting paint balls at everyone in her class. | |
