Lainey had spent at least a few hours painting her face. At least. But, she was pleased with how she'd made blue swirls on her cheeks and some more random red dots here and there. It was perfect.
Lainey had paints and brushes and mirrors laid out for everyone else as well. It was time for History of Magic to begin once more! Lainey propped open her door and stood by it, waiting for her students to arrive. | |

"Maybe Pinocchio was a lying little--wizard and someone put a hex on him so he could finally learn a lesson or two," she muttered and picked up the red paint, dipping the brush in the paint, she began to draw a curved line over each brow of Elly's. Then instantly wanted to take back her answer. Everyone had nearly said the same thing. "Or maybe Pinocchio had a girlfriend once upon a time and he lied like some cheating--Person," she said waving her brush about and looking fiercely at Lainey, obviously caught up in her own story. "His girlfriend found out about his disloyal ways and CURSED HIM! That way he would never lie, cheat or break another poor girl's heart again."
Bucky then turned to Elly and nodded.
"Don't you worry about experimenting," she whispered with a wink. "I'm not one to usually care if I look like I have a protruding mass of flesh coming out of my forehead."

suzy started to paint the rose on her face. She used a deep red for the outside petals, and a lighter red for the inside petals. since she painted her face a light green color for the base, she used a dark green for the leaves. It was turning out nicely.

She sunk down into her chair and put her hands on her cheeks. She was supposed to be the one putting paint on people's faces for pranks or wrapping them up in something crazy, not the other way around. It was like Lainey knew this or something and was trying to change that. But no. Chloe would not let that happen.
With one hand now covering both of her cheeks and mouth, she wrote down some notes with her other hand. She had heard many stories but never one about some puppet with a large nose. This was definitely a good time to take some notes.

Ali picked up a paintbrush and dipped it in blue paint and drew a little circle on her left cheek. The she dipped it in the red paint and started to do a little curly design around the circle. On her right cheek, she drew a red heart and put and arrow through it. She kept checking the mirror to make sure that she was doing it correctly. She didn't know that much about the story of Pinocchio, so she waited for the professor to ask a question that she could answer. | |

Eleanor thought about Bucky's Pinocchio theory, and chuckled, but it sounded plausible.
The brush tickled her brow and she couldn't help but twitch a little. "She smiled a big smile and took her own brush out of the purple paint and painted a circle on the bulb of Bucky's nose. she took a bit of green paint and painted cat-like whiskers as Bucky was painting her brows. "So what year are you?" She asked her while looking about the other colors while trying not to move her head. ~Green whiskers? How dumb is that? ~Shut-up..I'm having fun.. Eleanor frowned but quickly turned it upside down in hopes that Bucky wouldn't notice.

"Yes, the heart does make one do crazy things," Lainey stared at Bucky, thinking 'Speaking of crazy things..' "This is why people your age should just focus on school and not worry with boyfriends and girlfriends." Says the spinster.

Lainey waved her wand non chalantly at Chloe, turning her arms, her hair, and everything but her face - blue. Everyone was to be painted, afterall.

Lua glanced sideways at Leo as he spoke, his tone was different and she certainly haven't seen him look at her this way before. Glancing between Leo and the paint pallet. He liked red, didn't he? She couldn't resist the faint smile slipping from the edge of her lips as she dabbed more to soak her lips more.
She froze the dabbing as she heard a Gryffindor yell across the room at Leo? Raising an eyebrow at her direction, she couldn't help but giggle at Leo's response to her.. she never ever though red was this powerful, on Leo the least. She pouted to push her lips out more and leaned closer towards Leo "Is that girl bothering you hun?" she asked wrapping her hands around his neck then pressed her lips on his cheeks, then slowly pulled away to see the outline of her lips marked there.

Ariana nodded at what the professor had said, it did sound true, "It could be possible professor, they are not easy to spot as the rest of us and they're very rare. He could have been a spy from a villiage and was spying on the puppetmaster I think you call him to see what he was doing, to see if there was anything worthwhile he could send back to his masters." it sounded like a good theory to her.
She picked up the pink paint and began to paint a pink dolhpin onto her cheek, careful to get it perfect. She almost laughed when she saw the professor turn Chloe blue.

Christian never liked to be out on the fun. He wasn't one for face painting, but he figured that he could make an acception for a class. There was just a tiny problem with it, he was pretty much hopeless when it came to painting, let alone his own face. He looked around the classroom looking for a partner to help paint his face.

"Metamorphmagus?!"Eliza repeated "could be possible,Professor L!" she smiled as a thought popped into her mind Maybe I'm a Metamorphmagus! Well,no harm in trying! Concentrate!Turn hair pink!Turn hair pink! she wriggled her nose in concentration but nothing happened Aww!I want pink hair! she sighed as she took up a brush and done a small stroke of blue on Rebecca's face just under her eye.
"Rebecca,you need more colour!" she said as she done the same stroke under her other eye "And another stripe!" she dipped the brush in some red and made another stroke under the blue on each side."And a few freckles!" she dipped her brush in orange and done orange dots all over Rebecca's face."Hee-hee!This is fun!" she giggled as she began painting her own face with orange,pink and yellow paint!
She eyed Leo and Lua as Lua kissed Leo on the cheek,UGH!Eliza took the brush and began making long,whipping lines across Rebecca's face while looking at Lua and Leo through Blood Red eyes.
Stupid-- she stroked the brush against Rebecca's cheek -Lua- she done another stroke,getting harder each time -kissing- she done a line from Rebecca's cheek down to her chin -Leo- another stroke from her chin up the other side of Rebecca's face -Infront- another stroke of red went across Rebecca's lips -of- a giant blue dot under rebecca's eyes -Everyone!- she lost grip of the brush and it went falling to the floor.

Patrick grinned. It was kind of a stupid theory but it had been his thoughts. He smiled more when Lainey chastised Bucky. "I thought Pinochio wasn't nice," he muttered when Lainey continued to say that the Blue Fairy was not evil. "Yeah, it's possible. But where's the point in making your nose grow when you tell a lie?" he asked hand in the air. He continued with his other hand to create a pinkish circle around the other eye.

OOC: Niky has dibs on this. Niky pulled her hazel curls back so she would get no paint on it and picked up a couple colors. She looked around for anyone else whose face wasn't painted yet and spotted a boy by himself. She had seen him before, always playing around with that ball of his. She smiled politely and approached him. "Hey, what if I paint a soccer ball on your face?" she giggled, smiling to herself. She was a good artist, and this was a fairly simple drawing anyways.
When she heard Professor Lainey speak, she raised an eyebrow at the question. "If he was a Metamorphmagus, why would he make himself out of wood in the first place? I thought the carpenter built him..." she asked curiously.

"Professor,he moves from the vegetable to the animal kingdom, rising gradually within each class.He begins life as a featureless stick of firewood (possibly pine wood) which is then transformed into a wooden puppet. Next he moves through animal identities (watchdog and donkey), and finally achieves full human status." Aurora was starting to feel a bit frisky and took some paint on her brushed and flicked it at Kennedy. Now she was speckled. Aurora began to laugh hard.

More Red. Red niiiiceee. His head kept saying as he saw Lua put more Red on her lips. Why was red so pretty? And why did it make Leo go all numb? No one knows...sadly
"No. Girl. Who?" he mumbled. Not hearing a word she said, but when she had wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed her lips on his cheeks. Leo started to cough uncontrollably

It was pretty obvious, Christian was paranoid about the actions of girls. Even though he seemed to be attracting them left right and center. He nodded his head to the hufflepuff,
"Sure, do you want me to paint something on your face after?"

Eleanor frowned but quickly turned it upside down in hopes that Bucky wouldn't notice.
"I'm a fifth year. Pretty old no?" She said wrinkling her nose at the touch of the brush. She had always been a bit too ticklish. "I'm guessing you're a first year, right?"
The girl seemed a bit odd and at times it even appeared as if she was thinking or paying attention to something other than what was in front of her. But then again all first years were extremely odd.
