Rae sat in the classroom for a long while before class finally started. The weather was bitterly cold, and she cast the same high fires in the classroom fireplaces as she had in the nursery. She tucked her hands into fur-lined pockets before returning to her seat to take up a cup of hot hot hot cocoa. She was cold, but it was more psychological than physical. She missed Doyle, and seeing others so happy made it all the worse. | |

Ariaa shuffled her papers quickly, but not quick enough it seemed as three people asid the exact same thing she was going to. Shrugging it off, she waited for the next question. Hopefully she could get some points today..

Kerry smiled at getting points for Gryffindor, and then raised her hand again "The ministry of magic rates creatures by how dangerous the creature is to wizardkind, human kind and some creatures earn their rating for other reasons, such as difficulty in capturing or training them." Kerry said, not sure if that was the complete way the designated ratings but knowing it was close.

"Excellent... I got a variety of answers that help fill in all the blanks. The rating system the Ministry uses starts at X and goes to XXXXX, using the numbering system Cassandra quoted. That will be five for Ravenclaw and five for Torie for mentioning the X's. And Kerry is right... the scale is based on how dangerous or difficult to capture a creature is. I'll give her three points to Gryffindor."
