Amelia placed her wand on her desk, as not have it interfere with her pronunciations. She practiced the spell a few times under her breath, Ahh-pen-barr-uh... ah-pen-barh-ee-uh.... She was never good with the rolling of her r's. But she did like the sound of it and was determined to try her hardest and get that same glow the Professor got. She closed her eyes and concentrated hard on the syllables... it sounded perfect in her head, but why couldn't she say it right? Ah-pen-bah-reeee-uh... no, i think i went too long at the end. Ah-pen-bah-ree-uh... ah-pen-bah-ree-uh.

Amelia said clearly, "Ah-pen-bah-ree-uh. Apenbarria. I said it correctly!!" She stated enthusiastically. She looked at the broach and picked her wand up, "Apenbarria." The broach glowed, which indicated that the spell worked. She knew that this was a spell to remember and would hopefully get more practical usage out of it.

"I'll leave you to practice that, and I'll post your homework assignment on the board. You are free to leave once you are finished."

She turned and wrote:

Atmor smiled and wrote down the homework, after compleating that she packed her bag and left waving to Professor Rae

Ginny gotted down the home work. " great lesson professor Rae" she said before heading out of the door.

Molly wrote down the assignment, packed her things and headed off towards the library. She wanted to get started on the assignment as soon as possible since she knew it would take her some time to finish. "Thank you, Professor" she said as she walked out the door.

Curt picked up his wand and looked up at the broach, he was pretty sure he had the pronunciation all wrong, but he aimed at the broach nonetheless and fired, "Apenbarria!" he said confidently, but the trill on the 'r' was extreamely weak. A light erupted from his wandtip and hit the broach right on, but it seemed to vanish before it hit it, it didnt glow to any extent. Curt examined his wand tip as if it were broken or something and tried rolling his r's a few times. He aimed and fired again, and he was stuck with the same result, he just couldn't get the r right. So for a third some, Curt aimed his wand at the broach, and firmly said, "Apenbarria" as best as he could. The light once again shot from the end of his wand and nailed the broach, it glowed in a light shade for a second until it turned back to its normal state. "Thats what I'm Talking about," Curt said to himself smiling. He looked up at the board and copied down the homework before heading out of the classroom.

Memorising the spell Patrick took down the homework. Sweeping all his stationery into his bag. He made a mental note to practice that spell later. He closed his bag and swung it over his shoulder. "Bye proffessor," he said as he left.

Jeff left, his head swimming. He hadn't soaked in a thing about today's lesson.

Melony Kangston, the stunningly beautiful first year, was writing down notes as well as the assignment.

Nat wrote down the assignment, hoping that she remembered enough to help her complete it. She packed up her things in her shoulder bag and left the classroom, secretely pleased that she had managed to win some points for her house, Hufflepuff.

Galen who had been watching from the back of the class took out his wand from his belt holster and tried the samething. Galen was confused when a flash of light lit up the tip of his wand and fanished a second later. Shrugging he wrote down the assignment and replaced his wand in to his holster.

Bexx click-clacked her way into the classroom. She was regretting traveling in stillettos. SHe should have known she wouldn't have time to change. She hurried up to the professer. She was astonished that she was also the Headmistress. She seemed to be hurrying into the end of classes lately. "Er," Bexx wasn't sure if she should call her Headmistress or Professer. She settled tentatively on Professer. "Im sorry I missed the class, I just arrived from school in France, and...is there something I can do to make it up?" She ran a nervous hand through her beachy waves of hair again. Stop. Nervous ticks must stop. She thought and settled on playing with her rings behind her back.
