Torie was happy to oblige and quickly conjured up a footstool for Erinelle. This time, it had elegantly carved legs and a smooth red velvet top.

"Wow!" said Torie, "That's the best one I've conjured yet! Maybe a chair isn't so far off after all!"

Torie then leaned over to examine the shiny bracelet on Erinelle's wrist. It really was beautiful and Torie's face echoed her admiration.

"Oh, Erinelle, that's beautiful! When did he give it to you?"

Julia nodded, feeling a bit better knowing Lainey was on her way. "Thank you, professor," she said, looking down at Rae's stomach before turning and walking back towards Jacques. The woman looked like she was going to explode!

"Really? Like what?" Natalie asked, her eyes wide with excitment.

Sarah sighed and said "I am not sure but somehow my gut feelings are always right" Sarah hoped that nuthin bad happened but if it did then she would be ready

She settled herself on the stool and nodded her head in admiration at Tories skills. "Nice one Tor! You're getting there i think!" She made her self comfortable, her face shining with her pure delight and blushed slightly.
"Just before the rally, i can't believe he did!" she squealed delightedly.

Torie looked slightly shocked. "Wow! You two are getting pretty serious, eh? What's the occasion?" Torie paused as she racked her brain for possible explanations of Si's elaborate gift. She smacked herself on the forehead as a thought occured to her. "Oh no! I didn't forget your birthday, did I?"

Natalie shrugged. "Well I'm ready for anything they throw at me! But if you can't beat them, join them, is what I say!"

Sarah laughed and said "Yeah well i much rather fight and beat them than join them if you get my meaning"

She shook her head, her face just as stunned as Torie, "Yes...we are getting fairly serious, no occasion, you didn't miss my brithday, it's in June," She smiled, before shaking her head again, "No...i don't know why he gave it to me. He just did." She beamed, admiring the bracelet again.

Sarah looked about at the other students who were chatting amoungst themselves and sighed she wished that she had more people to talk to

Torie made a mock gesture of wiping her brow.

"Whew," said Torie. "I'm really glad I didn't miss your birthday! That's awesome about you and Si though. He seemed really nice. I missed the last Quidditch match. Did you play?"

"Headmistress Cassy Ray!!" Hester exclaimed. "You, you should not have come!" Hester got to her feet and went straight to the larger than life woman. Hester stooped and put her head right on Cassy Ray's tummy. "Hello, Angel. You just hold on for a few more moments, sweet baby." Hester hugged Ray's belly, and only her belly, and stood. "I'm very glad to see you at my Rally. The Book should be here soon. I know you're very glad. Come, come, come and give your item!"

She laughed warmly at Tories gesture and smiled once more, "don't worry, i wouldn't have minded if you had," She smiled at her and nodded when it came to Si, "He is really nice, i'm really pleased i have him," She said softly blushing. "I did play as Keeper, we lost, none of us were used to our positions." She explained.

Sarah looked about and put a hand on her necklace around her neck she was not going to give it up she had something else in her pocket which was less precious to her she dearly wanted to meet new friends but she thought that she was better sitting alone as Natalie had fallen asleep

Rae blinked at the woman before allowing her to lead her towards the cauldron. "I brought my scarf. My... I've had it a long time and I'm loathe to part with it." She dropped it into the brimming cauldron. "I hope she can wait on her father."

"That's too bad," said Torie in sympathy. "At least you tried though." Torie's attention wandered over to Professor Rae who was being helped to a large black cauldron that Torie had failed to notice before. "Hey Erinelle, what's that cauldron for? Are the Salem sisters providing free hot chocolate or something?"

Zoe walked to the Book Rally. She brought her old book with her, but she didn't know why.
Zoe found Professor Hart.
"Umm ... Professor Hart," Zoe said. "I saw that flier and well, I brought something."
Zoe showed her the old book of hers.
"Just out of curiosity, what's it being used for?"

"Is he near?" Hester's eyes fell to Rae's tummy. She hmm'd and held her finger in the air. "I wouldn't worry about your scarf, Cassy Ray. If you trust us, you'll get your scarf back. Easy as that. Go on, go on. No worrying." An extra large plume of smoke arose when Cassy Ray put her scarf in the cauldron. "Almost done! Almost done! I'm so excited!!!"

"It doesn't matter, we were good about it!" She said with an unsure smile. She looked over to the cauldron and bit her lip, "I wish it was free hot chocolate, but no, you put an item in there that you trust, and they're using it to summon their...um...book."

"He should be here soon," Rae took a shuddering breath and nearly fell over. "I'm going to just... sit down to watch. Is that fine?" She didn't wait before transfiguring a rock into a stool and falling onto it.

Sarah looked about at the excitement as the cauldron was nearly ready she cultched her item in her robe pocket wondering whether it would be needed or not

"You mean, that's our summoning potion from potion's class in there? Oh man, I hope that everyone's was brewed properly. I'm surprised this whole place doesn't smell like ginger. My sweater did for almost a week after that class!"

Torie smiled at the funny memory of the potion's class that the Hart sister had run. It was good fun, that class. She thought carefully about the things she had in her satchel. 'What is an item I trust?' she thought to herself. 'Parchment, quills, inkwell, notepad.....ah, my fountain pen.' "Wait, will we get our items back if we put them in that cauldron?" she asked aloud without realising it.

Serena could do nothing but stare as the sisters began to sing and dance. Then all the other students joined in! Looking bewildered, she stepped a bit closer to Niky and swept her gaze through the grounds, watching as more students placed their items into the cauldron.

Everyone was still waiting for Professor Lainey and Serena briefly wondered what was taking so long. The Headmistress had been here for quite some time and at this point, wasn't looking her best. She seemed quite fatigued and this worried Serena. Perhaps all of this was finally taking a toll on her? Now all she could do was to wish that this all would be over with so that they could all relax.

She nodded again, "I think so...i don't know. Torie...it's probably a better idea to give them something that isn't close to you but you trust. I gave them a quill that i trusted to write, you won't get it back." She said quietly, the whole fiasco scaring her again.

Sarah twirled her wand about she was bored and wanted to talk to someone badly
