Mr. Thorn walked into the Great Hall and made his way up to the staff table. He was deep in thought about next year and of how he would not be able to return to Hogwarts and carry on with his Groundskeeping duties because his mother was very sick and dying, and his father was in quite a bad state over it. Needless to say he would have to stay with them both for quite a while.
Once at the table he took up his usual seat and gazed fixedly before him.

Once there, she stopped and looked around her with a bewildered expression, as if she had no idea how she had gotten to be there. Darn it, her mind had been wandering off to the tarot reading in the North Tower again. She beamed a smile of greeting at her colleagues and sat down at her usual place. | |

Headmistress Rae entered the Great Hall and took her seat on the dias. She was tired, it was obvious from the way she dragged in and from the circles under her eyes. Still, she looked happy, and she sipped her water contentedly. The term was so close to ending.

Eliza,on seeing the headmistress enter,strolled up to the staff table with two small bags in her hand.
Her Dark Green eyes glittered happily as she stopped infront of the Staff's table. She smiled sweetly,flicked her brown curls out of her face and looked at Headmistress Rae "Headmistress,I have been wanting to give you this.."she opened one of the bags revealing two pink teddies,a card and a small basket of chocolates. "The teddies for your daughters,the card for you and professor Doyle and the chocolates for yourself." she placed the stuff on the table for the headmistress.
She then turned to the other professors,the librarian and the nurse.
She opened the second bag and inside were small boxes of cookies.
She handed the boxes to each of the staff members,leaving the boxes on the table for the others,smiled once more at each of them and went back down to the Gryffindor table to her friends. | |

Danni Pride walked into the great hall for the final time that term, she looked a bit different than before. A large, triangular hat was on her head, a long brown trenchcoat which seemed to be made out on canvas and high, brown leather boots all of which seemed to be covered in a sort of crusty stuff. As she walked by, you could smell the salt air of the ocean.
She settled herself down next to Mr. Thorn and took off her hat, showering each of them in salt, "Oh! So sorry mate!" she said as she brushed them both off, "Flooing back to my ship after the feast." she added with a grin. Her grin slid quickly off her face as she saw the look on his face, "Are you ok?" she asked placing a hand gently on his shoulder. | |

Rae waved and smiled at the kind Gryffindor girl who had brought gifts for her already spoiled little girls. They were growing fast and sleeping when they felt like it... and definitely not when Rae felt like it. She sipped her water again before gathering her wits and standing.
"Good day to you, Hogwarts students. I hope you're enjoying the fine weather on this, your last day of the term. It has been quite a hectic term for us, and I'm sure you all have your good and bad memories. I hope wedged somewhere in all those memories is a bit of book learning as well, but I suppose I'm being too optimistic." She smiled to show she was teasing.
"For those of you who HAVE had your nose in the books, let me begin by congratulating the Gryffindors on an amazing term. The red decorations here in the Great Hall are in your honor. I know you owe a lot to those who attended classes and helped out in many ways. It was truly a team effort."
"This term was indeed event filled. We had our visitors, and that brought both the good and the bad. The positive is that the Salem sisters have truly removed the Book of Mysteria from the school. It's gone, and Voldemortist has no reason to bother us again. The bad news is that without Salem and Durmstrang, we have no fellow competitors for the Triwizard Cup. As we speak, the staff and I are working to come up with a suitable alternate."
She paused and took a sip from her glass. "There will be more changes and adventures for each of us next term. New staff, new friends, and new challenges to face. I know I personally appreciate all of your support in the birth of Sophia and Genevieve. You are all welcome to come and visit them in their nursery any time next term... unless you have to skip class to do so. And now, let us eat, drink, and be merry... for tomorrow we return to our homes."

He reached for his goblet of pumpkin juice and sipped on it, but touched nothing on his plate.

Cassandra walked up to the Staff table guiding waddles forward. She smiled as she approached the table. Waddles got excited when he saw Professor Pride, and waddled quickly towards her. "Professor Pride, thank you for letting me penguin sit Waddles, he and I had a lot of fun. I also released all the catapillars, as you asked. Is there anything else I can do for you before the term is over?" she asked smiling.

Trelane nodded to Brooke. "Once it starts unrolling, Brooke, help hold up the middle section so it doesn't tear." He stopped, hearing Cassandra speaking, then thought about it. "Nah, my idea's better." He helped Alex start it unrolling then held one end and walked away as Alex backed up. A wide array of color began to become apparant.

Brooke walked back and forth confussed as to what to do then as they started to open it she quickly ran over to the middle. She placed her hands under it making sure that it would be okay then said, "OMG! It looks awesome!" Then hushing her voice down a bit she said," Hopefully this will get us out of last place!"
