"Yes Ma'am I have" She said with a smile pettting Scoops agains. "Thats good" She added about the Proffesors summer. "Yes, I am always willing to help, escpecially when it gets really busy" She said and she saw a younf boy wlak up earger looking for work.

"Aha my first canidate" She said turing to the boy. "Would you like to help clean out some cages?" she asked kim knowing usually new student were willing to do anything.

GG walked over to the First Aid Cabinets to dust them, only to find some of the Kits were empty and their contents were scattered, some fell when she opened the cabinet. "Oh!" she whispered to herself. she put the rag down and began emptying the cabinet.

She worked on putting materials in each of the First Aid Kits. She had a lot of fun because she saw some strange objects she had never encountered before. "Toad Wart-Appearing Cream..." she read in one cmall cylindrical container. "Wow.." she exclaimed and giggled. "What else is in here?" she asked no one in particular as she continued putting things into the kits and examinig them. "Windsprite Whispers..." another container read, "For Windsprites who completely lost their voices..."

When she finished putting back the stuff into the kits, she began to dust, as she had planned. She dusted the shelves of the cabinets, then put the kits back on the shelves. She made sure the were neatly stacked so the contents would remain inside and the kits wouldn't fall off when someone opened the cabinet.

Serena slowly walked onto the grounds, advancing towards the creature hospital. It had been some time since she had been here. The last time had been when she had adopted Grace. It was time to give back a little.

She entered just in time to catch the end of Professor Dainsie’s statement about the stalls and fences. Perfect. She walked over to the equipment shed and removed a few items. Turning, she headed towards the fences, beginning at one end. First, she slipped on a pair of gloves and then began to inspect the fence, moving from top to bottom in a systematic manner. She was looking for any sort of break or other danger to the animals.

Next, she carefully ran her fingers down the length of the fence, checking for any sharp edges that weren’t readily visible. Finding one near the bottom of a portion of fence, she knelt down, carefully filing the sharp edge down. It would be quite unfortunate if one of the animals were nicked by a poorly maintained fence.

She continued in this manner, moving around the fences, until she reached the middle. There seemed to be a small break in the fence. It didn’t seem too bad, but it was large enough for one of the smaller animals to escape from. Withdrawing her wand, she intoned “Reparo.” Watching as the hole neatly mended itself, Serena continued along the length of the fence, completing minor repair work as needed.

Once this was completed, she ambled over towards the basins where the water was kept for the animals. They all looked a bit unclean, so she skipped over to retrieve a bucket of soapy water and clean rags.

She began to scrub down the basins, making certain that all of the grime had been thoroughly removed. Her arms and shoulders were beginning to ache slightly, but it felt good to work. Once the basin had been cleaned with soap and water, she carefully rinsed them out, allowing all of the soap to be washed away. Once more, she inspected the basin. Everything looked A-okay to her.

Glancing around at her fellow students, she decided to leave a few basins for them to clean. After all, she didn’t feel right by taking over everything. It was best to leave someone else a chance to possibly earn some points.

Blowing out a breath, Serena replaced the buckets in their proper places and cleaned her hands. “The fences have been repaired and some of the basins have been cleaned Professor.” She said with a smile.

While waiting for the boy to answer she turned to the Proffesor "Well i'll get to work on those stalls, those are not up to my standards, so their definetly not up to yours." She said going to get a wheel barrel and pitch fork and started with the first stall.

"Excellent! 5 points each to GG and Serena, and 5 for Pauline. Keep up the good work guys!"

Pauline started to much out the first stall and went on for a couple of hours. She had now done 8 stalls all cleaned out, with fresh hay and water. She looked at her work and was proud, now thats how she liked her stalls. She went back to chekc on Scoops. She decided to put him in the first stall to elt him have dinner. She watched him eat, noticing he was fat and needed to lose some weight, which wouldn't be hard.

"Ill help professor" Mason offered. Mason walked over to the owl cages. He went to the first cage. He took the owl out carefully and placed him on the cage. He pulled out his wand and tried a cleaning spell he read in one of Lockhart's books. The spell only moved the droppings into one pile, but didn't remove them. He decided it was something at least and began removing the droppings manually. He put new paper down and made sure the owl had food and water. He placed the owl back in his cage and made sure he was comfortable. He repeated this for a while, using his spell to magically sweep the droppings into a pile and checking the owls accommodations. After he was finished he turned to Pauline and asked "Pauline, Hi I'm Mason and I'm helping out. Is their anything specific you'd like me to clean.

Erinelle wandered over to where everyone was helping out with the maintaining of the Hospital. She brushed her hair back from her face and got to mucking out one of the stalls, she opened up the windows and doors and allowed a fresh breeze to pass through, effectively airing it out, she always found that it got stuffy in animal pens.

She began to spread a thick layer of fresh hay on to the ground making it thicker in one corner where the Magical Creature could sleep or just have extra hay to help build it's bed.

Erinelle then replaced the food and water bowls with new full ones and washed out the old ones, admiring her work, she sincerely enjoyed doing that, and looked about for her next thing to do.

Racheya was taking a walk around the grounds when she spotted what looked like was the magical creature hospital her sister had told her about. She walked over and looked around for the professor.

She found the professor just mentioning that the stalls and cages needed a clean. Smiling racheya picked up a brush that had been left on the ground and started to sweep up some of the animals stalls. She wasnt sure what animals stalls they were but she was sure that they would like a nice clean home. Racheya couldnt help but smile to herself while she swept.

As soon as she looked about Erinelle found something else to do. Noticing the food bowls that were either empty or half empty, or just needed to be cleaned out, she got to re-filling and cleaning them.

Doing so, Erinelle began to hum, her hands deep in animal food. This was surprisingly fun, and she began to get that feeling of goodwill that her Grandmother kept saying she needed. Well, she had got it now!

Finishing that job, she washed her hands and began to do the same to the water troughs and bowls. Humming the whole time she worked, a happy smile on her face.

Tia cheerfully walked inside the Magical Creatures Hospital, her dark hair brushed neatly, for once. “Good afternoon, Professor,” she said politely, weaving her way over to her Head of House.

She glanced around the place, which didn’t seemed too clean, and noticed a few of the students helping in tidying it up, including some she knew, and others that she recognized.

She waved to Serena, deciding to help around, now that she was here. She quickly made her way towards the cages lining one of the walls, and bent down towards the first one. Taking out her wand, she quickly opened the cage door slightly.

“Scourgify!” she said in a clear voice, her wand aloft, clearing out the droppings littered inside the cage. One by one, she opened each cage, but in a manner that did not allow any of the inhabitants to fly away.

She merely passed some of the cages, which already appeared to have been cleaned. She did not open those that were cleaner the others, only pointing her wand at them, and muttering “Scourgify.”

After nearly fifteen minutes or so, the row of cages facing her looked sparkling clean. Satisfied, Tia pocketed her wand, walking around to face If there was anything else she could do.

“Professor, is there anything that I can possibly help with?” she asked Professor Dainsie, going over to her once more, a smudge of dirt on the front of her robes, which she quickly wiped away.

"HI Mason" she said "Um yes you can go around and make sure all the Owls have fresh fod and water in their cages." She said to him and then went back to looking at Scoops.

Zoe walked into the Magical Creature Hospital. She, a first year, had never seen so many animals in one place. Zoe heard that if you help out, you could earn House points.
Zoe, looked around for Professor Dainsie. When she did, she said, "Hello Professor. My name is Zoe. Is there anything I can do to help out around here?"

Mason entered the building ready to help out any way he could. He didn't see the professor around so he decided to just get to work. He walked over to the rat cages. He used his ever popular "Cleaning spell" to push all the droppings into piles and removed them. He changed their water and fed them. He checked the chart and found that many needed medicine. He checked the Cabernet and found what he needed. He administered the proper dosages and returned the bottles. He returned to the cages to check that all the rats were comfortable. He saw some of the magical rats dancing with joy after being fed and medicated. He figured they must be form Diagon Alley. He was finished so he walked over to the Hippogriff pins so he could sit and watch them while he waited for the professor to arrive with further instructions.

Athena entered the magical creatures hospital, looking around to see how she could help. "Hello?" She asked, "I heard you had animals that needed to be adopted? And that you needed help carying for sick animals, I am here to help." SHe asked, waiting for a response

Still humming absently, though no longer dancing, Rosalie walked into the Magical Creature Hospital, and looked around at some of the smaller sickly animals. One creature, which she couldn’t quite identify, was standing up in it’s cage, looking restless. It was likely almost well once more. She smiled, and crouched down in front of it.

“Hey little one.” She greeted it in a low, kind voice, “You getting anxious to get out of here?” She asked him. “Or are you just going to stay here?” She added, and reached one finger through the bars to touch it. The creature jumped back from her hand. She smiled at it, and examined it’s fouled cage. “You seem to be living in a pig sty small fry.” She told hi, and extracted her want. She flicked her and, and mumbled the spell that left the bottom of the cage sparkling clean. It was much more efficient than the muggle method. “I suppose I’ll leave you alone then.” She announced, and stood up.

A Kneazle was wandering the room freely, and headed towards Rosalie after she had cleaned a few cages. The spotted cat-like creature rubbed it’s body against one of her legs before she had a chance to crouch down and rub it’s large ears.

“Well hello.” Rosalie greeted it fondly. She’d always loved cats, and Kneazles seemed close enough, and far more intelligent. Instantly, she wondered if this animal was up for adoption, but then reminded herself about Solena, who was asleep up in her dorm. “So, what’s your story darling?” She asked the animal as it starred up at her expectantly. “Is that so?” She asked after a while. “Been here a long time?” She added, and ran her hand down it’s back. Out of habit, Rosalie picked the creature up, and carried it over to where Professor Dainsie was standing.

“Hello Professor.” she greeted the woman. “Is the food in the back with the cleaning supplies?” She asked. “There were several animals I saw that didn’t have any. Also, is this little girl supposed to be in a cage?”
She added, indicating the Kneazle in her arms.

Randver slowly walked up to the professor and poked her slightly and said
''professor Dainsie? i just came by to check up on Ratty do you know how he is feeling i need to know and mum and dad have bin sending letter's but
i can't send any back because my owl is hurt and i can't even send
a hogwarts owl because mum and dad will not take the letter if the don't
recognise the owl is Ratty feeling better i realy need him right now

Once she had finished cleaning up the food and water bowls, she went round the remaining stalls and began to muck them out, she began to hum once more as she replaced the hay in the stalls.

She aired them all out and placed a filled up food bowl and drink in the corner of the pens. She smiled doing so, and made sure that the pens were cleaned to perfection by her standards. This was fun.

Kat had decided to go and exploring the Magical Creature Hospital. Upon arriving, Kat was amazed at what she found there. As she wandered around the animal pens, she noticed a familiar head.

Aproaching said pen, Kat said "Howdy stranger, fancy seeing you here."

Mich hearing this walked over to the mpty pen outside, picking up a brush and rake on the way.
She reached the pen and began to rake all the old hay and dirt out of it into a small pile at the entrance.
Once this was done she got the brush and degan to brush the few remaining bits into the same pile.

She walked back inside and got a bucket and some warm soapy water, she carried the full bucket outside and threw it on the floor over the pen and got to work cleaning floor.
Once this was finished mich checked that the fence was all intact and safe for any animals to use it, without harming themselves. She hammered in any nails that were sticking out and checked all the fence was securley fitted to the ground and each other we dont want to be chasing animals all over the castle grounds she thought to herself.

This done she deposited all the rubbish into the bin, cleaned the brush and rake and put them back were they belonged.

She put fresh bedding, food and water into the pen and walked over to the teacher and asked
Is there anything else that you need doing?

Using her broom to sweep up some stray hay, Erinelle heard a familiar voice, she looked up to see Kat and she smiled widely. "Well you know, i'm just everywhere" Erinelle said off handly, shrugging and beginning to laugh as she said it.

She handed Kat a broom and beamed at her, "Now, if you're here, help me with this and earn your house some points!"

Erinelle heard a student ask if there was anything to do to help, she grinned and called over to them, "Yes! There is! Get a broom and start to clean out the pens!"

"Gladly," Kat replied.Taking the proffered broom, she walked over to the nearest pen that needed cleaning and quickly got to work. Surprisingly it was more fun than you would have thought. Maybe it was because of the feeling you get when you're helping someone else.

As Erinelle sweeped, she hummed and smiled, maybe because, like Kat; whose contented face just showed it all, she was getting that helpful feeling. The all good inside one, she grinned as she continued to muck out one of the pens, wishing she knew the cleaning spell that several of the other students had used.

But maybe, doing it manually was making her feel better than a simple flick of the wand...

"Is it just me, or are you finding this fun Kat?" She asked curiously.

"And here I thought it was just me," she replied to Erinelle's question.

"I'm really loving doing this, i just feel great, and the animals are so cute too!" Erinelle answered, she smiled curiously.
