She took the form and placed in one of her many pockets. "Great, I'm sure you'll make a great team. By all means, he loves to be petted, big attention seeker."

How exciting this is going to be. There were so many animals to choose from, which should she do first? She saw the unicorns, but they were being groomed and feed, then she saw the owls. They were so majestic; she walked over to them and began petting their feathers down. She knew a lot about owls, but she found the most wonderful thing about them to be their power and grace.

There was an entire perch filled with owls. So many of the beautiful creatures had been hurt from flying accidents, several even had their wings wrapped. The poor little things, they were so fluffy that it must be simple for their wings to break. She started talking the birds, "Why hello their little one, how are you doing today." She began feeding the owls one by one, making sure they all got their share, until she noticed the mess around the cages and perch.

She put down the snowy white owl that she had been grooming and went to gather a shovel and bucket for the mess. It was going to take work, but she wasn't leaving the hospital till at least this area was cleaned.

Pauline decided to jump Scoops in the line again. She cantered him up and away they went over each jump to persision. She cantered Scoops around the ring in circles and then to a trot. She fiannly brought him to a walk and hopped off. SHe took him out of the rings and took his tack off and started to shower him.

Athena nodded, a smile emerging on her lips. "Well, now he does, and he looks wonderful!" she said with a grin.

Suddenly, she felt a ball hit the back of her legs. She turned and saw Silmaril with a wicked look in her eye. She then nudged the ball with her nose towards a goal. "No you don't!" Athena called, and ran after the unicorn. She got the ball just as the unicorn was about to shoot. She took the ball and skillfully kicked down the ring. Silamril gave a squal of surprise and continued the chase.

"Thanks" she called to Athena as she was giving Scoops a good soaking.

Kristen watches as the people run around and laughs. She pets the kneazle as it sleeps. She then falls asleep with her back up against the tree.

Vince went to the Magical Creature Hospital, wondering what the place looked like. He never went to the hospital before, so now was the chance to go here. As he saw a lot of magical creatures, he stopped at one. A beautiful raven had its sharp claws on a piece of wood. He noticed he had a cast on its wings when the raven flapped them out. He knew the raven was a special one. He petted the raven, and picked it up.

He walked up to the professor and said, Professor Dainsie, does this raven have a name, or can I name it?" he asked her. He looked at it's blue eye, and gave him a smile.

Sini returned to the pen with the shovel and bucket and began shoveling the mess that had been created. She filled the bucket four times before it was all cleared away. Then she got more bedding and spread it over the cages and pen for the owls. While she was working she noticed the water for the owls was empty. She filled up the water dishes so that the owls could cool down. Seeing that everything was all clean in the owl area she returned to petting one of the barn owls near by.

Caitlin laughed as the Professor shoved the agreement into her pocket; they were alike in that way, she'd discovered. Caitlin always had so many pockets, and so many things in each one, that she was surprised she didn't sometimes loose her lunch inside of it. The thought made her want to empty her jacket in search of food.

After recieving permission from Professor Dainsie, Caitlin stepped forward and nervously displayed her hand to the Abraxan stallion. "Shame I don't have any single malt whisky for you," Caitlin cooed, finally petting him. "Professor, I don't understand. Normally, you need to be a lot more aggressive with breeds of Palomino's, especially the Abraxan's, but Samson isn't quite like that. I know he's a bit old ... nine or so, right? But why is he more gentle?"

Vince immediatly looked at the time, and noticed he had to go. "I think I have to go professor," he informed her. He also said goodbye to the raven by waving his hand. "I'll be back later!" he said. He quickly went to the common room to read.

"Well 9 isn't old for a horse, it's quite young actually, but yes he is 9. It depends on breeding. Horses from the wild, or who have been bred to be more fiesty will act that way. But over the years, breeders have slowly tried to change their temprement to make them more suitable as pets. Samson comes from a long line of well handled Abraxan's, and he himself has been handled from birth. If you make a bond with them as a foal and get them use to humans and handling, they will be much more suited to it their whole lives.

He can be a handful at times went he wants to be, but mostly he's a big softy. There's actually an Aethonan stallion over there we have just for this week, but I won't let any students near him. It's one of the more sedate breeds, but he's much to dangerous and flighty. Hopefully though he put one of our mares in foal. We may have a few more winged horses next year!"

Vince went back to the hospital. He asked the Professor, "Um.. Professor, what can I do to help this place? I've already cleaned every part in the grounds.." He looked at the animals, and looked back at the Professor.

"Well there's always plenty to do! Feeding, cleaning, grooming washing... take a look around and see if you can find something."

Athena and Silmaril had finished their game, and both were fairly tired. They both cooled down by walking around. After they were done, Athena took the lead line and halter off the fence, and put it on her head. Together, the unicorn and girl walked toward a pair of cross-ties. Athena grabbed a grooming kit and began cleaning the dirt off of Silmaril's pale silver coat.

Vince followed the professor's instructions with feeding and cleaning first. He looked at every owl cage and noticed there were still owls in them. He walked to one cage and took the owl first. "Hello there," Vince said as he grinned at the beautiful creature.

He got out a wiping cloth and wiped every piece of dirt he found. Finally, he was done with the cage and whispered, "Scourgify." He did this so the cage was fully clean. He put out the owl food on the bowl and put the animal back in. He did this to twenty other owls, and was finally done cleaning each owl cage he could find. He was so tired, he needed a drink of water.

He waved his wand and suddenly a bottle of water came out in front of him. He quickly drank it and put it away. Now was the time to groom and wash. He looked for an animal and saw a beautiful animal. It was a unicorn. She had a sparkling horn on top of its head.

"Hello there your beautiful creature!" Vince said greeting the unicorn. It smiled back and let Vince pet her. After minutes of petting he whispered, "Now, do you mind if I clean you?" The animal shooked her head and Vince grinned.

Vince looked for a bucket with clean water, but couldn't find anything. He found one that was polluted with dirt and brought it back to the unicorn. "Now, you're going to dip this water on your horn ok?" Vince said to the unicorn. The unicorn had a confused look but did as she was told. As she dipped the horn on the water, it immediately turned to pure water without any pollution.

He found some soap and a brush. He put some water on the dry soap and poured some of the soap water on the brush. He brushed the animal carefully in a circle pattern and was finally done with the washing. He had a lot of dirt on him because he got a lot of dirt when he cleaned the owl cages.

Vince muttered a spell under his breath and suddenly the unicorn was dry, without any soap or anything else. He got a grooming kit and brushed its long mane and its fur. It was hard but he did it. The unicorn was more beautiful than ever. It's mane and its fur sparkled like a star and its horn sparkled like a sun shining in the sky.

Now was time for him to play with it. Vince played with a ball made out of yarn he found on the ground. The unicorn seemed to like playing with it. When they were done, he asked the professor, "Uh.. professor may I be able to adopt this unicorn?" He thought about his sister on her upcoming birthday or when she was going to go back home from St. Mungo's. "What's the point... the unicorn will be too big anyways for traveling and it's gotta be Hogwarts property anyways," Vince thought sadly. This year he wanted to give her something special other than clothes and necklaces.

"Hmm," Caitlin said, very interested. Though horses were not her forte, her sister loved them with a passion. She would be so thrilled to hear everything that Caitlin was now!

"Any chance he'll be tamed? Caitlin asked, eyeing the Aethonan hopefully. He was beautiful. She was also excited to hear that they'd have more horses - and hopefully some new breeds, too - that she could learn about and maybe help the Professor raise.

OOC: I'm really sorry about the delayed resoponse. I'd had time to read it, but everything else was too hurried for me to respond.

Kerry walked down to the magical creature hospital, looking for something to cheer her up, as she was a bit sad the term was coming to an end. Animals always seemed to make Kerry feel better, so she couldn't think of a better way to spend some of her time today.

As she walked in, Kerry saw one of the kneazles walking freely around the room. Kerry went straight over to the cat, bent down to it and nuzzled it for a bit. Kerry soon began to feel a little better as she listened to the kneazle purr. After a few minutes the kneazle had had enough. Kerry laughed to herself at how independent cats can be sometimes, once they get what they want they go off on their own. So Kerry got up and walked around peering in the various cages and deciding what creature to spend time with next.

Kerry soon found herself walking past the crup cages. She paused a moment... these were the first creatures Kerry had encountered when she first came down here to the hospital. Staring at them a them for a bit, she realized just how cute they were. Perhaps because she was so busy cleaning their cages she had never really noticed this before. Kerry slowly opened the first cage. Reaching her hand inside she picked up one of the creatures, and stroked it's furry head. As Kerry looked down on the animal, she thought it strange that it resembled a Jack Russel Terrier except for the fact that it had a cute little forked tail. Kerry was quite familiar with Jack Russel Terriers as they were her Muggle Mother's favorite animal. Her mom had pictures of herself as a little girl with the terriers, and it was some of Kerry's favorite pictures to look at in the photo album.

Kerry sat took the crup in her arms and went to the storage room to get some treats. She sat down in a corner of the hospital and played with the animal for awhile, making it do tricks for the treats. Kerry laughed as the crup stood on it's hindlegs to beg for a treat, and nearly doubled over in laughter as the animal actually ran in circles trying to chase it's own forked tail. It was great fun to watch the animal at play. It was just the thing she needed to bring her spirits up again.

After what seemed like hours, although Kerry was quite sure it wasn't nearly that long, Kerry stood up and to return the creature to it's cage. She longed to adopt it and take it home with her, but she could just imagine her parents reaction as she walked in the door at home with the crup. Kerry made up her mind that she'd just have to spend the vacation time at home buttering her parents up so that when she returned next term, she could come back and adopt the cute little crup.

Walking back towards the crup's cage and about to place her new friend into it's home, Kerry peered in and realized that the cages could really use a good cleaning. She didn't think it had been that long since they were cleaned, but then again even magical creatures can make quite a mess quite quickly.

One by one opening the cages, Kerry picked up each crup and put them together in an open pen and let them play freely together as she returned to their cages to give them a good cleaning. Taking out her wand and pointing it towards each open cage, Kerry whispered, "scourgify" and watched as the cages gleamed brightly, smelling fresh and clean once again. Kerry then walked over to each cage and one by one, emptied the traces of food left in the food bowls and cleaned them with a wave of the wand and a quick "scourgify" spell, and did the same with the water bowls. Kerry then made her way to the storage room to picked up all the supplies she needed to replenish the crups cages. With her arms extremely full, Kerry made her way back to the cages and refilled every bowl with fresh food and water. Finally satisfied the cages were properly cleaned, Kerry made her way back to the pen, where several of the crups were tangled up together playfully wrestling each other on the floor. She almost hated the idea of returning them back to their cages, but it was getting late and Kerry needed to head back up to the castle and clean up for the upcoming festivities. One by one, Kerry grabbed the crup's scruffy collars and placed them back in their cages. Kerry made sure that the last crup she returned to it's cage was the one that she had so closely bonded with earlier today. Picking it up and nuzzling it once more, Kerry whispered a promise in it's ear to return for him next term, promising he would finally have a good home with her. Finally, Kerry reached up and placed him in his cage and closed the door.

Looking back with a smile Kerry turned and made her way out of the room. As she neared the door to exit the hospital, Kerry practically had a skip to her step, the time with the animals had definitely made a world of difference in her mood. She was smiling as she reached the door, happy once again to return to the castle. But before she could, Kerry pointed her wand at her robes and whispered, "scourgify" - making sure to leave the smells of the hospital behind her. Opening the door, Kerry waved over her shoulder and called goodbye to her friends as she gleefully headed back up towards the castle.

Michiko overheard what Professor Dainsie said. She looked over to the Aethonan stallion and her eyes widened "Oh Professor!" she gushed "He's quite lovely! And how exciting it would be if we did have some winged foals!" She smiled sweetly at the professor, who was now at her side. "Please let me know if that happens, perhaps I could also help with raising it." her eyes sparkled "now that would be amazing." she shook her head, and blushed, realising she had been babbling about her daydreams "tha-that is if you thought I could actually help." She looked over to the horse's stalls and decided to help muck them out. She ran over to them and began to clean out the stalls and put some new feed inside as well.
