| | |  Magical Creature Hospital
On the grounds, just past the Herbology greenhouses on the edge of the forest, is nestled the Magical Creature hospital. There is a small stone building housing the animals that cant be left outside, as well as various sized pens to house the larger outdoor animals. The pens are nearly full of recuperating animals, and the building houses a various assortment of ailing creatures from owls to pygmy puffs.
Bored and looking for something to do, or want to earn some extra house points? There are always sick and injured creatures here at the hospital, and Im sure I could use the help! And if you have an injured pet you are most welcome to bring it here and let me have a look at it. There are also lots of animals up for adoption that need owners!
So you are welcome to wander around and just look, or if you would like something to do just let me know. The animals here can get pretty lonely and I cant spend time with all of them. Our beautiful Silmaril and Caramel are still here, along with all the other old timers. Just be wary of the Hippogriffs and stay away from the baby dragon, he has a cold and is shooting fire off every time he sneezes

Caitlin looked around at the mass of chaos that had seemed to errupt throughout the Hospital. Between the girl who had passed out and the one holding bat babies, Caitlin was starting to get a little nervous. Finally, she decided to tap the bat-girl on the shoulder.
"Hi," Caitlin smiled, her eyes wandering down to the jumper. She laughed, sort of nervously, and continued. "I have no idea where you got a pet bat from ... but as for the babies ... first of all, I'm sure you already know this, of course ... but you really need to be careful with them. Baby bats scare very easily, and I don't want you to get bitten. Second - you need to get a lot of mosquitoes on hand. A single bat, like yours, can eat up to three thousand a day. That's twelve thousand mosquitoes for all of them per day, and that's about an average of three hundred and sixty thousand a month. That's why I suggest that you maybe put them up for adoption. I know a really good agency in Hogsmeade, and if you'd like, I could give you their address."

Pauline walked to the Hopistal after the game. She knew that seeing Scoops and going for a ride would make her feel better. She found Scoops out in his stall and took him no a lead rope and tied him up to tack him up. She brushed him off and put on his tack. She finished tacking him up and hopped on. "ready babe" She said and headed toward the Fruitsy Tree Grove.

I love animals. The different kinds and there abilities are just amazing to discover.Kristen goes over and picks up a kneazle and feeds it. Then she baths it. Then the start playing together with a ball Kristen brought with her.

Wondering into the store room, Kerry found the unicorn feed and a grooming kit against the wall, "I wonder how many unicorns are out there, I hope this is enough food. "I sure am," Kerry said excitedly as she and Emily headed outside toward the unicorn pens. Kerry's eyes widened as they approached the creatures. She had never been so close to a real unicorn before. She placed a bucket of food at her feet before her and grabbed a handfull and with an open palm reached out and handfed a unicorn before placing the rest of the food in the food bin in the pen. "This is amazing isn't it?" Kerry said to Emily as she giggled at the unicorn's tongue tickling her palm as the creature gently took the food from her hand.

Pauline went to the Pen and went out to the aptrued and whistled for Scoops to come. She saw him prancing to her and she opned the gate, put a lead rope around him, and walked him to a stall. She started to brush him and heard some girls talking. She looked there direction and saw they were with the unicorns. She smiled at the thought of a younger student getting just as ecited as she did when she first saw a unicorn. SHe turned back to Scoops and continued brushing.

Kerry went to a few more unicorns, hand feeding each one and then adding food to their pins, until the ones she was taking care of all had food. "I'd be so content to come down and do this everyday," Kerry giggled "I guess we should start grooming them now then," Kerry said as she placed the food bucket down and grabbed a brush and gently began to stroke one of the unicorns with the grooming brush, and patting the unicorn's head gently as she brushed, admiring the creature's beauty.

Kerry heard a bit of noise coming from nearby, she turned to see a Slytherin prefect peering over. Kerry smiled, and said "hello," but careful not to take her eye off the creature in front of her as it was still a magical creature and could be unpredictable. Kerry noticed the prefect was lundging at something, "Do you need any help?" she asked the prefect.

She passed many students and animals, and waved to a few as she walked by. As she got closer to the unicorn pens, Athena whistled a small chord. A whinny responded immdiately. Athena laughed as walked more quickly over to Silmaril's pen. The unicorn mare's head was over the fence that surrounded the area. "How are you girl?" she asked.

Kerry smiled back and said, "Ok, just making sure.... that's a beautiful horse," she said as she admired the prefect cantering away. Kerry hoped in a few years she would be able to do the same. But she focused on the task at hand and finished grooming the unicorn in front of her.
When she was done grooming the first unicorn, she returned to the store room for a treat for the creature. When she came back, she gave the unicorn the treat and pet it for a bit before moving onto grooming the next unicorn.
