Erinelle walked into the stadium, her broom that she had picked up in the shed under her arm and her newly ponytailed hair swinging like a pendulum. She put on her tight fitting gloves then held the broom steadily in her hands.

She sat on the floor and put the broom in her lap waiting for others to arrive. "Hello Professor," She greeted him, before adjusting the scarf at her neck.

MJ read the post and went toward the broomshed.

She came back with a broom she waited for the professor to begin the lesson. She was really nervous. She was terrified of hights but she was determine to knock the fear out.

Vince hurried to the lesson, running as fast as he could. "Hi, Professor!" he said as he stopped running. He got his broom in front of him, which was an old and dusty one.

Atmor walked to the pitch and read the Announcement. Good now I can practice. She had her own broom so she just went out on the pitch."Hello professor" Atmor said smoothly she was pretty good at fllying but wanted to practice.

Vince thought that the broom he picked from the broomshed was bad, as it was dusty and dirty. At least he still got a broom. He thought if it still works because it was so old. He thought about a different topic, as he never flied in a broom before, so he didn't think about injuries.

MJ clutched her broom tightly. She walked over to the profesor and said.

"Good morning professor."

She said and smiled then walked over somewhere else. She sat down and waited paiently for the class to begin. She was nervous.

"I'm not afraid of hights."
she kept saying over and over again in her head and outloud. But you couldn't really hear her.

Athena ran through the gates of the quidditch stadium, not wanting to get to class late or be the last one there. She set her broom down on ht grown and sat down next to it waiting for Professor Vindictus to arrive. She had been on a broom before, but she wasn't sure if how she had done it before would be how the Professor would want them to do it.

Atmor looked around and noticed she was the only slytherin *great just great only slytherin here* she sighed and looked at the hufflepuff who just entered the quittich pitch. ~Ok shes tired~ Atmor prayed another Slytherin would just come or they wouldnt have to introduce themselves.She shook head at that thought and waited

"Ok, so this is a really big stadium. I wonder why they made it so big." Vince said. He thought to himself for a really long time. Now he was really afraid. "Are we suppose to fly that high?! They expect us to fly so high in the air?!!" Vince exclaimed in his mind.

He suddenly felt the urge of puking. He again thought about something else, but he couldn't. "Ok, so if this was a real game, people would go around there." he said pointing to the sky. "Hm.. Ok, making that kind of angle, they would score and win the game.. Ok.., so the Seeker would most likely be away from the other players, or else someone other than a seeker will get to close to the snitch, touching it, making a foul.." he said again, observing the surroundings. He read a book about Quidditch, so he knew a few things.

MJ looked at him and said.

"Are you scared of hights?"

She asked. Then whispered.

"Cause I am."

Atmor looked over at the Ravenclaw "Are you afraid of hights?" she smiled "Dont worry just dont look down , when i first started flying I looked down fell off my broom about fourty feet" Atmor looked at the boy "Oh my I'm sooo sorry, Atmors the name yours?" She streatched out ther hand for him to shake

"Well, I am kind of. I read a lot about Quidditch, but never really expected to do it." Vince said to the girl. His eyes widened as he looked in the stadium again. "Well, I only know about the rules in Quidditch and some more, like making plans to win, such as going to that angle, and that angle, but still, I never thought I would do it." he said. "I have a little phobia thing of heights, but I think I'll get over it. Oh and Vince is my name." he said again.

Professor Vindictus looked at the first years who had shown up thus far and noted that they had their own brooms. "I hope that those are school brooms that all of you have with you," he said sternly. There was no way that he was going to permit a first year to get away with bringing their own brooms to the school. Plus, the school brooms had been thoroughly inspected and were in top condition for his classes.

OOC: I sure hope ya'll have read the classroom rules.

MJ smiled

"Well your not the only one I am terrified of heights..."

She said

"I'm Maylin-Janet."

She clutched the broom tighter.

So high she thought and you could see the fear in her eyes. Then what she heard from the girl Atmor she freaked out even more

She heard what the professor had said and nodded.

"It's from the school." she said softly. She wasn't willing to buy one..at least not yet until she got over her fears.

"Oh yes, it is professor. I read about the rule, that second years and up can bring brooms to school." Vince said. He sneezed as some of the dust in the broom got into his nose. "Excuse me." he said weakly, sneezing again.

"Dont worry Vince I was afriad the first time too, but I was only four so I was expected to be afriad" she smiled and stopped talking realizing she was not helping

Erinelle looked at the Professor and raised an eyebrow inquisitvely, "I got this one from the schools supply in the Broomshed," She said, holding up the schools broom. She certainly wanted to have her own, but that wasn't going to happen.

Vince was surprised. "4?!" he thought. Again, he felt the urge of puking. "Well, ok, I won't be scared anymore." Vince said being as brave as he could.

Vindictus looked at the chatting students and frowned. "While we wait for the rest of the class to arrive, please line up on this line here," he pointed with his wand and a white line appeared on the grass. "Make sure you leave ample space, oh about 4 feet, between you and the person next to you. And before I forget, this is a real lesson and not a social gathering."

Atmor giggled at his attempet to sound brave "Professor did I hear you correctly, we cant have our own brooms?" Atmor sighed "May I be excused to change mine then" she loved her broom it was one of her favorites

Vince walked into the line, straight and tall. He stayed quiet.

Maylin did as she was told. She was frighten. She had been on a broom only once. That was the worst thing in the world she had fallen and almost had died but she was saved. She lined up where the professor had pointed his wand, where the white line had appeared on the grass. She left some space about 4 feet one both sides and waited for further instructions.

Erinelle got up off the floor and moved to the line, she made sure there was enough room and put her broom in front of her. She made sure her hair was still up in a tight pony tail and smiled at everyone else reasurringly.

Atmor got a new broom and stood in the line waiting for the professor to give any further instructions
