Professor Blaylock sat in the center of the circular room on a comfortable pink pouffe. Her lap was covered with a warm blanket and a soft feather pillow perched behind her head. She looked as if she was about to go to sleep, not start a class.

The small round tables that had been present during the last lessons were gone now, and the whole classroom was decorated with comfortable pouffes, big cushions, pillows, blankets and the such. A delicious aroma fills the air...hot chocolate.

Natasha sat back comfortably, sifting through a handwritten purple leather bound book which was her dream diary. She hoped the students wouldnt take long to arrive, or she could very well fall asleep in this comfortable bubble she had created.

Neva walks into the room and takes in the scenery. Blushing and trying not to make eye contact with Professor Blalock, she walks over to a purple pouffe and sits down.

Eliza strolled into the classroom,a lovely smell filled her nostrils MMmmm..Hot chocolate! she sighed,falling into a dark pink pouffe and smiled "hello professor!"she greeted Professor Blaylock with a small wave, a small smile crept onto her pale face.
Her own dark blue dream diary in her black rugsack,which was still flung over her shoulder.

Natasha smiled at the students as they settled in, "Help yourselves to a mug of hot cocoa, dears...just dont fall asleep now." She said as she sipped on her own cup of tea. She wasnt one for hot chocolate during the day, but it was important for the students to be in the...what was the word? Zone.

Walking into the classroom, Tia shrugged off her bag on the floor nearest to the Professor’s own pouffe, and sat quietly down, not feeling too chatty. All the same, she smiled feebly at Professor Blaylock.

“Good day, Professor,” she said, by way of politeness, taking out parchment and quill as she spoke, and setting everything down in front of her in a manner as orderly as she could make it.

Nabiya: *points to my first post* No desks in this class dear.

Neva takes note of Professor Blaylock offering them Hot Chocolate. She decides not to accept this little gesture, however. She sighs slightly and hugs her legs to her chest.

Jenni sneaked into the class, since she had had an incident with teacher. She looked for a pouffe in a dark corner but she couldn't find one, so she dragged one as far away from the teacher as possible.

Eliza's smile grew "Thank you Professor."she said politely as she got a mug of hot chocolate.She blew on it as she walked back to her pouffe and sat down.Sipping the hot chocolate,her light green eyes fell upon Neva.
She took the mug away from her mouth,a chocolate mustache occuping her upper lip.

Leo was so happy that the beautiful Professor Natasha's class was starting.As Leo walked in the class he saw the professor sitting on the floor.She looks comfy Leo thought as he sat in front of the Professor.

"Hey Professor." Leo smiled charmingly as he took out his quill and parchment.

Natasha tsked at Jenni's antics and waved her closer, "Miss Riddle...I do not need to possess the Inner Eye to see you over there."

She smiled at the young Hufflepuff who was turning out to be quite the beefhead that Vindictus man was, "Hello Mister Moretti, I hope you have your dream diary updated. All of you."

OOC: We'll just wait for a few more students before starting.

Neva looks up and sees Eliza staring at her, a moustache apparent. "You have a little...." Neva says, gesturing to the stain. She glances over at Blaylock, wondering if she was to be in for another guilt trip.

Jenni blushed slightly and dragged her pouffe closer. But still far enough away from the teacher. "Sorry Professor." She looked in her bag for her notebook, she had started writing events in here. She took note of what had occurred and put the book back, and drew out a textbook and hid behind it.

Eliza looked confused for a moment before realising what she meant,she blushed in embarrassment as she wiped the stain with her sleef.
She then turned to look at the professor "I have,right here."she told the professor,pulling out her dark blue dream diary and flicked to the latest entry.

A shockwave went down Eliza's spine as she read it to herself.
It hadn't been a dream,more of a nightmare and it had really frightened her.
She shuck her head lightly to shake off the feeling and stopped reading,turning the book over and palcing it on her lap.

Natasha looked at the clock on her wall and sat up a little straighter, which was quite hard to do in a chair that was made for lounging. "Welcome to yet another class of Divination, children...can anybody guess what today's lesson is going to be about?" She asked them all, it was quite obvious anyway, "Based on the diary I told you to prepare, and the decor of my classroom today..."

“Oneiromancy, Professor?” she guessed. “Because it is a form of Divination related to dreams.”

Eliza's hand shot up like a bullet"They are images that relate to something you have seen or heard of over the past days.They sometimes carry a message within what the peopel in your dreams have said,some more noticable than others.They also can be your subconiousness.(sp?)"she shivered slightly as she said about messages.

"A dream is the experience of envisioned images, sounds, or other sensations during sleep." Leo said as the professor asked the question.Leo is trying very hard to get noticed by the professor

"A dream is a point in which your concious mind has relaxed causing your subconcious mind to work. Some people premonis (sp?) others just work overtime," Jenni said raising her hand.

Tia slowly raised her hand again.

“Dreams are often our innermost thoughts, and a reflection of our subconscious, which take a more of less defined shape,” she said thoughtfully. “In my opinion, that is why they can help in predicting the future – Because they are reflections of how we feel inwardly – something which we are often unaware of.”

"You are both correct, of course...5 points to both of you." Natasha said happily, quite relieved that her students were paying attention to her lessons.

"Leo's answer is most astute. When we sleep, our mind makes us believe that we are experiencing these things, when in truth, we are quite snug in our own beds."

She smiled at the young Hufflepuff and turned to face the other students, "Now...these images..sounds, feelings that we experience, have been believed to carry meanings. And throughout history, many people have sought their meanings, believing that dreams have the power to predict our future, and this is called Oneiromancy."

She decided some more questions would be needed to keep the students awake, "Our past lessons have all dealt with the interpretation of symbols, now Oneiromancy isnt much different. Think of all the things we can possibly see in dreams, and interpret them based on the meanings of symbols chapter in your textbook...I want everyone to give me an example of a symbol and it's meaning."

Eliza thought before she put up her hand "The colour Black is usually used as a negitive symbol so if you see anything black in your dreams it would probably symbolise fear and danger."her mind flashed with the image of the pure black place she had visited in her dreams.Eliza blinked and the image disappeared from her mind.

Tia raised her hand again. “Circlular objects in dreams are said to represent eternity and time,” she said slowly, racking her brains. "And spiral objects reflect energy, as well as danger," she added.
