"A musician might not need as colourful clothes as the singer," Zaza says grinning. "Maybe I´ll just wear my dress robes and play in the background. Something black or dark green with silver trimming, maybe."

"Very Christmasy" Neva smirked. " I do love green and silver together, although I'm not a huge fan of either colour on their own which is pretty strange. I'm more of a purple person myself" She said, matter of factly. She was aware how strange she seemed to others as of late, although she couldn't put a finger on why. She hoped Zaza didn't think her too strange.

"I just love green and silver, both together and separate. They remind me of forests somehow," Zaza said smiling.

"And now you mentioned it, they look very christmasy together, too, without looking too christmasy, if you know what I mean," she said thinking about the colours of Gryffindor. "There´s nothing wrong with purple, either. Nice colour."

I get what you mean. The only colours that look overly Christmasy together are red and green or red and gold. I hate gold. It's so showy." Neva grumbled. "Soo..." Neva mumbled, not really sure how to continue the conversation. "What do you hope to get for christmas from your parents?" She asked, randomly.

"I´m not too keen on gold myself, either. Actually I don´t really like it. Silver is far more beautiful and magical, too." Drusilla said feeling good about finally finding a person who didn´t like gold.

"I would want to have a pet snake, because I would want to ..." she bites her tongue feeling suddenly childish. She was about to say because I would want to see whether I could talk to it like Harry Potter, but realized that was hardly probable.

"Because I would want to see whether it really swallows the rats whole," she continued, even though she had seen such things happen on telly, and really didn´t think it was anything special.

"And because I guess snakes are available in my favourite colours," she grinned. "But I doubt they will buy me one. My mother thinks I´m too young to take care of more than one pet, and I´ve already got Merlin. What would your Christmas present wish be, if you could get anything?"

" I prefer pearl, myself. I love pure colours." Neva mentions.

" I like snakes but I wouldn't want one as a pet. I think I would cry every time I had to feed the thing." She giggles. She loved animals too much to see one being eaten. She was a vegan so the act of consuming another living creature seemed immoral to her.

" I don't particularly want anything, to be honest. Apart from the obvious. My uncle Remus told me he is going to take me to his holiday home in India for Christmas. He said they have many shops devoted to Transfiguration and Potions and I could have a shopping spree" She smiled, revealing her girly colours.

Zaza hadn´t thought about the rats being animals, too, since they were so small, so she didn´t at first understand why Neva would cry. When she realizes it, she says: "Oh, I´m sorry if that sounded cruel. Actually I didn´t mean I would especially want to watch it." She thought about it for a moment. "But isn´t it weird they don´t choke on those rats?" She was a curious kind of girl who had already broken her first alarm clock to see how it works.

Zaza´s eyes begin to shine when the other girl talks about going to India. "That´s marvellous!" she sighed. "I´ve never been to India, but have seen loads of colourful pictures of it. You´re one lucky girl, Neva," she claps her hands.

" It's okay. The whole circle of life is filled with nastyness like that. I guess I just have to accept it" Neva professed.

"This will only be my second trip to India. I've only ever been to France, Greece, Tunisia and Russia before. It's a very beautiful place, India. I remember on my first trip when I was six, I got to ride an Elephant. It was amazing. I never knew there could be a creature as big as that. I was only little and I felt like a little bug compared to it. I remember thinking that it could stand on me and crush me if it so chose to" she laughed. Little children can be so naive she thought.

"An elephant?" Zaza sighed. She hadn´t ever even seen a live elephant, but she could understand the fear of being crushed, yet she would want to at least see one.

"Have you been riding a camel, too?" she asks curiously. "I´ve heard you become seasick on them." She remembered the few passings of the English Channel she had made, and almost starts to stagger right there.

" I've never ridden a Camel. I would love to though. They're supposed to have personalities of their own" Neva giggled. " Can't wait to have my first argument with one" she exaggerated.

Zaza giggles at the thought of Neva arguing with a camel, when a thought suddenly occurs to her.

"Have you already met our HoH? I wonder what he´s like," she asks the elder student.

" Yes. I've met Professor Belle. I had a chat with her after an incident in Astronomy. She's really nice." Neva reassured Zaza. She herself was always afraid that she wouldn't hit it off with teachers but she was always pleasantly suprised.

"She ... ?" Zaza looks confused. "Professor Belle?" She tries hard to remember what name Cameron had mentioned when pointing out a man with glasses as their HoH.

"I thought our HoH was male. An elder student, Cameron Kingsley, said he would be ..." Zaza frowned. "But of course, our Potions Master, Professor Branxton." She giggled. "He looked funny, though ... Maybe it had something to do with those spectacles, so serious somehow."

"Yes. She." Neva smiled. "Her name's Hazelle. Our Head of House was the Potions Master until this term."

"I've always thought that spectacles succeeded inmaking a person look wisened, if indeed funny." She smirked. Her father had worn glasses but he wasn't the most normal looking person anyway. His black ponytail and sallow skin made him look odd enough.

"Hazelle Belle, sounds poetic," Zaza says with sentimental gaze. "I mean imagine my parents, to name a child Charmelia ..."

"Wouldn´t it have been embarrassing to have gone and introduced oneself to our HoH who isn´t our HoH anymore?" She frowns. "Could she have done it on purpose? I mean told me Branxton was our Head of House, even if he wasn´t?" she remembers the evil laugh the tripping girl got.

Zaza shakes her head. "Naah, I´m probably just paranoid. Maybe they had decided on it during the summer, and Cameron didn´t know it yet." She decided to watch her steps when miss Kingsley was nearby, though.

"Let´s put it this way: some wiselooking persons look also funny," she giggles.

"That would be embarassing. I think it was only a recent decision, her becoming Head Of House". Neva trailed off. She wasn't overly sure about their freind Ms. Kingsley either. " It was only by chance that I discovered the switch over." She confessed.

" There have been some very odd looking people that have turned out to be utter geniuses. Look at the muggle Albert Einstein. He wasn't such a pin up. Neither Newt Scamander.. or Albus Dumbledore. I'm sure they wouldn't argue with me saying they wouldn't be able to blen in with a crowd" she smirked.

"If it was recent, most students probably didn´t know, then," Zaza reasoned.

When Neva mentions Einstein, she begins to giggle. "A good example! I´ve got a postcard where he sticks his tongue out. To be a genious you might need to be a tad childish, too." She looked content. "If I stay this way, I might become as smart as Einstein ..." she bursted into laughter.

"Haven´t seen how Scamander looks, but I already got one Dumbledore from Chocolate Frog Cards. Look!" she shows the card to Neva.

Neva giggles as the Dumbledore in the picture winks at her. " I never collected chocolate frog cards. I prefer inanimate confectionary myself." she beamed.

" There was an article in a wildlife journal about Newt's discoveries and it had a picture of him. He kind of looked like Sean Connery if you closed one eye and squinted the other" She simpered.

She tossed a section of her waist-length raven black hair behind her as she descended the stairs into the dungeon corridors. Who was she? Why, Cameron Kingsly of course.

Her tall stiletto heels clicked melodiously as she walked through the corridor that lead to the potions room, and beyond that, to the Slytherin common room. Her walk was something she prized; She walked as though she was a supermodel on a runway, which she could have been due to her towering height of five foot eleven, minus heels.

Her grey eyes drifted from painting to painting as many of the people in them waved and otherwise silently greeted her as she walked past. Cameron returned the small gesture with a small smile or two.

She soon saw two distinctly female figures not too far from where she was. As Cameron neared, she noticed that they were Slytherin girls as well as herself.

“Hello ladies.” She chimed as she came upon them.

"Hello hun" Neva smiled. " How are you today? Are you enjoying your classes so far?"

Neva had only been a member of Hogwarts for a short time and was finding it incredibly different from her old school, Beauxbatons. She thought it was markedly better, however.

Zaza had just started to imagine how Scamander looked, even she only had a faint idea of what Sean Connery looked like, when they were interrupted by a creature on clickety clackety high heels.

"Oh, hi Cameron! Did you know, our Head of House is Professor Belle, the Astronomy teacher." She investigated the other girl´s face for a while. "And not Professor Branxton. But I bet he must be smart, since he looks funny." After saying this she tried hard not to laugh; she had become a bit hyper waiting for their Potions class to start, so she chuckled anyway.

Neva giggled at Zaza's little joke. She liked having inside jokes that only her and another person got. She hoped Cameron wasn't offended at what appeared to be them laughing at her.

Cameron smiled beatifically to the both of them. “Oh yes. My classes have been quite nice; Apart from me turning in my transfiguration homework a day late.”

She then answered Zaza’s questions. “Yes, I found out that our head of house had changed when I mistakenly addressed him as such. It was quite embarrassing actually.” She said, remembering the encounter in which she asked him about her not becoming a prefect. What a mess that was… She thought.

“And yourself?” She asked to Neva, who was in her year.

Neva beamed as Cameron addressed her. "Yes! I'm having a wonderful time. It's so much better than Beauxatons. If the spells didn't help with beautification or what not they weren't covered. It's nice to learn some real magic."

Zaza gets serious. It´s obvious Cameron hadn´t known about the change herself, and had felt awkward after addressing Professor Branxton as their HoH.

"Oh, that´s awful!" she regretted. "But they can only blame themselves, since they hadn´t announced it properly. I mean, why didn´t they tell us about it at the Feast, when everyone was present?" She was glad, however, that she herself hadn´t gone to introduce herself to their former Head of House as if he was their current one, too.

"They what?" Zaza almost screamed when Neva told about the Beauxbatons ways. "How shallow can you get?" she rolled her eyes. "I mean beautification is of course important," she added hastily, casting a quick glance at Cameron´s lips [how does she do that], "but surely not the most vital thing, and if they didn´t teach anything else ..."

"I wonder what they would have been teaching at that Drumstand," she pondered. "How to build up a proper drumset, perhaps, seven years of drumtechnology," she giggled. You could tell the kid suffered from lack of sleep.
