It was Vince's turn again. He got in his stance, and yelled "ACCIO BLUE CUSHION!!" Instead of thinking of a water moving rapidly, he thought of a water moving more faster than before. He combined his thought with a blue cushion, and suddenly a cushion went straight forward at him.

He waited for the right time, the cushion was just a centimeter away of hitting him, but he suddenly thought of the water stopping, mixing his thought with a stopping cushion. The cushion was just a milimeter away of touching his nose, but it immediatly stopped, and hit the floor. He went to the back of the line.

Athena gingerly stepped up to take her turn. She wondered briefly what it would look like for the people in the hallway to see cushions flying past them. She fought not to giggle as she wondered how many cushions got half way to the classroom and gave up.

She raised her wand, picturing a cushion in her mind, made the wand movement and almost yelled "Accio Gold Cushion!" As though maybe it would hear and come to her. She waited for a few moments, and head down turned to go to the back of the line when she saw something out of the corner of her eye. A sad little Golden Cushion was flopping it's way into the classroom as though someone were running behind it and kicking it forward. It did one last flop and came to a stop a foot a way from her. Laughing she leaned down and picked up the cushion, hugging it to her chest as she walked to the back of the line.

"Well, it didn't exactly 'fly' in, but it made it, right?" She asked Professor Tolkien, smiling.

Megan waited until Vince was done. She took a step forward, raised her wand and said (while moving her wand downwards with a flick at the end), Accio Blue Cushion! After a couple of seconds of blue cushion came spinning towards her. She caught is neatly, smiled and headed toward the back of the line.

Natalie sighed and pointed her wand at a cushion. "Accio cushion!" she yelled and it came zooming into her hand. "This is easy.. I've done this a thousand times before!"

Yes, you just need to concentrate a bit more. Use your mind to focus on it floating towards you in the air. Confidence will do wonders here," He replied. "Keep working on it, everyone. Visualize the cushion, focus on it, then summons it. You can do this."

Zaza frowned hard to visualize the green pillow, wawed her wand and said "Accio green cushion!" Nothing happened. She looked at her wand. Had she wawed it the wrong way? "Excuse me Professor, sir?" she says. "Am I holding this wand right?"

Sini got to the front of the line for the second time. She was intent on making that cushion come to her. She pictured the scarlet cushion in the Great Hall and going through the correct wand motions, commanded, "Accio Scarlet Cushion." She stood there waiting, staring at the open window expecting to see her cushion come flyin through.

Seeing and hearing nothing she turned to head to the back of the line when suddenly her cushion came drifting through the window. It was not traveling as quickly as the rest of the students, but it had come! She was so excited that she had completed the charm. She skipped to the end of the line, smiling the entire time.

"Zaza, try to add a bit more power in the flick. You need to hold steady as the spell searchs for your item," Tolkien suggested. "Focus, clearly pronoun the incantation and you should have seccuss after a few attempts."

Finally it was Lissie's turn.
Eyeing the gold cushion, she mustered all her strength of mind and visualized it. Brandishing her wand, she blurted out with all forcefulness, "Accio Gold Cushion!!!"

A few fleeting seconds passed. But just then, the pillow zoomed through the air and gracefully dropped about a foot away from where she stood. Internally celebrating, she asked her Professor tentatively, "Excuse me, but would you say that I've mastered it?"

Tasha stood in line until it was her turn to try the summoning charm. She stepped forward and raised her wand to the ready. Knowing her summoning abilities, she peered around at the line of Gryffindors waiting," Two steps to the left is safe." she spoke quietly. She then turned toward the door and made a quick slash in the air with her wand. With a strong flick of the wand, Tasha spoke clearly, "Accio Scarlet Cushon." With her wand still at the ready, she took two quick steps to the left, and watched as the red blur sped past her knees with enough force to break a leg if it made contact.

Natalie rolled her eyes and played with her nails. She sighed. I know this stuff already!
She pointed her wand at another cushion and spoke. "Accio purple cushion!" again it came zooming into her hand. "Perfect!" she muttered to herself.

Zaza did as the Professor had told, taking first a firmer grip of her wand. She frowned again and looked at a particular green pillow. She made believe she was in a cartoon, which maybe made her feel a tad childish, but amused her, since no-one knew what she was imagining.

"Accio green cushion!" she shouted in clear voice. The pillow flew towards her and ended up her face. "Gee, I´m glad my nose isn´t any bigger," she said cheerfully. "Otherwise it would have perhaps got shorter by that hit." She thought about it for a moment. "Or all flat," she added and giggled.

Natalie smirked as the pillow hit the girl in the face.
"Maybe you should hold your hands out so it'll come to your hands and not your face?" she suggested, grinning.

Jacques waited for the Slytherin girl infront of him to perform the spell, and smiled when a green cushion zoomed into the classroom. Now it was his turn. Closing his eyes, he thought as hard as he could about a green cushion, sitting in the great hall, just waiting to come to him.

Holding his wand out straight in front of him, Jacques flicked his wand sharply and said 'Accio green cushion!'

A few seconds passed and Jacques thought maybe the spell hadn't worked when sure enough a green cushion came flying into the charms classroom and landed softly at his feet.

"Gryffindor loses 5 points for Natalie not following class directions. You are supposed to be summoning cushions from the Great Hall and the color is scarlet for Gryffindor students." Jack stated flatly. "You also shouldn't be giving others instructions since you can't follow mine."

Natalie sighed. "I was trying to help, that's all." she muttered. "Okay.. Accio Scarlet Cushion!" she waited a few moments then a scarlet cushion came zooming into her hands. "Is that alright, Professor?" she asked, with a smile.

Caitlin decided to give the charm one more chance. She stepped forward once more, determined that she would do better.

"Accio Cushion!" Caitlin said confidently - and to her surprise, a large, golden pillow came and hit her in the knees. She could only grin.

Finding himself back at the front of the line, he thought about the advice that the teacher had given others. With a forceful flick of his wand, he called out, "Accio green pillow!" He waited, concentrating still on the image of the pillow coming to him. Soon enough the pillow came to him, hitting his chest with a light *poof* sound. He blinked. "Wow, it works!"

After watching her classmates, and listening to the various tips, Kerry stepped up once again to give summoning the pillow another try.

Picturing the pillow sitting upon the Gryffindor table, and trying to block out everything else, Kerry gave her wand a downward slash, and called out "Accio Scarlet Cushion." As she waited, she closed her eyes and pictured the cushion flying through the air, past classrooms, up stairs and landing at her feet.
As she stood there she heard what seemed like a buzzing sound, Kerry began to get excited but did not want to lose her compsure and have the cushion go of course. Then sure enough as she jumped with joy, the pillow came flying at her feet. Kerry grew as red as the cushion in embarrassment at her display of excitement, but she couldn't help but celebrate her success she didn't think would happen.

"Good work, it will take more that one success to consider this spell mastered. You will need over time to increase the weight of the object, the overall size of the object and of course distance," Tolkien commented as he watched the students work. "Strong wand motion, clear voice, concentrate and you will perform this spell."

Wow, Lissie thought as she walked silently to the back of the line. He's thorough. Grinning to herself, she eyed her fellow students as they either suceeded or failed in their attempts at performing the spell.

Isabelle Listened to her Professor about the summoning charm. She hadn't tried to summon her cushion yet but thought she would fail instantly. Isabelle was never known for her undying confidence either. "Strong Wand Motion, Clear Voice and concentrate and you will perform this spell." She heard the Professor tell some of the other failing students.
Isabelle took out her wand and clearly Shouted "Accio!". But her cushion didnt come. "professor what am i doing wrong" she asked.

Megan stepped up when Isabelle was done. 'I did it once so I can do it again,' She thought to herself. She quickly glanced around to see no one was watching her. She then raised her wand and, bringing it down with a slight flick at the end, said, "Accio blue cushion!" She spotted a blue cushion coming towards her. 'Yes!' She thought. Unfortunately she lost her concentration at that moment and the cushion fell to the ground and skidded to her stop at her feet. Blushing she looked up to see if anyone had noticed. She then went to the back of the line.

"The biggest reason for failing with spell is two fold...inexperience with it, which is followed by concentration. You have to practice it and you have focus. If you have succeeded then you need to focus on control. You must learn control in case you need to summon something fragile. Learn to use just enough strength for each item. Hold out your non-wand hand and summon the cushion to land there, gently," Tolkien instructed.

Caitlin, though sucessful with her last attempt, decided to take Professor Tolkien's words to heart and continue practicing.

"Accio cushion!" she cried once more, but instead of one golden pillow hitting her as expecteted, two came colliding into her.

"Oompffff," she said asthe one that hit her face fell to the floor. Thank the Lord that they were soft ...
