Rosalie pointed at Sylver and the sketch book.
"She saw...she told me....doesn't know about...about dark mark...she doesn't..." Rosalie announced. "She drew what she saw...."
She was relieved to find that she wasn't being thrown out of the staff room, and into detention. She was praying that they wouldn't lose more points. All houses being in the hole for most of the term was pathetic to her, and she hoped dearly that she didn't cause it to continue.

Andi scowled at Rosalie's incoherency. "Calm down," she snapped. "Try to talk coherently at least so we can sort this out as quickly as possible." Her mind leapt to the possibility that, of course it wasn't a full-fledged Deatheater, but yet another idiotic emo who thought it was oh-so-cool to be anti-establishment.
In which case...
Andi smiled. She wasn't the Divination, but she could predict this someone's future. It had knives in it.
And other sharp things.

As Rosalie pointed to her, Sylver decided it was time to explain in whole what she heard and saw.
"Well, you see... I got frustrated with my homework and decided to go into the girl's dorm and write a letter. I seemed to have stumbled upon two girls doing something that didn't seem quite right. I was disturbed by it and didn't know what to do so I sat down a drew what I saw."
She once again held out the sketch book. Upon it was of the mark she saw burning into the dark-haired girl's forearm. It was shaded to the likeness of indentation.

Hazelle watched as events began to unfold around her. First mention of Voldemortist, which sent shivers up her spine, then mention of the Book of Mysteria. Though she didn't know so much about it, she did know what it was and that it was here. That happened in her later years here.
She couldn't believe that the book was still here. She just couldn't, she sat down in a nearby chair and was amazed when several students came in claiming to have seen the dark mark. Then she watched as Ariana and the Charms professor left to deal with the ones who made the mark. She looked around at everyone else in the room to see who would be the next to speak.

Professor Light listened intently, her eyes wide. She actually jumped when she heard a knock on the door... a knock that she wasn't expecting. She figured that a late professor would likely try to sneak in, quietly, as opposed to bang on the door. Which was why Professor Light really was not all that shocked that it was a student...er, two of them actually. She listened as the Charms professor dealt with them, well, perfectly.
Professor Light looked around the now quiet room... it was silent. And she hated silence.
"So... um, about the book of Mysteria?" she suggested, her voice breaking a little at the end when she added her characteristic laugh quietly to the end of the sentence. She breathed, gaining her courage now, the Ravenclaw in her fighting to get back on topic and learn what was going on "So, er, Headmistress Rae has it, and what are we going to do with it?" she continued, deciding that whatever was going on the common room would likely be dealt with very firmly by the two professors that had left.
Very firmly.

The door opened quietly, and shut again with a click as Andi returned. She nodded at everyone assembled and took her seat again, as neat and quiet as a Dutch doll, or Mary Poppins - as indeed she did resemble in some aspects (vanity and temperament) albeit a little more gothic.
"Slytherin Deatheater wannabe Raeden Riddle," she said, by way of explanation. "Ariana and I apprehended her, along with another girl and gave her detention."

Hazelle wasn't sure how much her opinions would count in this type of discussion, she was by far the youngest and least experienced. However, she felt compelled to speak.
"Headmistress, I admit that I do not know much about this book, just that it has been held here for several years and that many people want their hands on it. I do not believe that the book itself is dangerous, so I cannot see the reason for destroying the book. However, I do not think it should remain at this school, not only does Voldemortist seem to know where it is located by keeping it here, but, as I learned from a few students, it seems that it is an object that attracts the children to it, so it cannot be safe here. Is it possible to move it elsewhere, without destroying it?"

Salem considered the situation for a moment before speaking, “I know I’ve only been on Staff for a year and that I don’t really know much about this book except for that it is here and that Voldemortist seems to have an interest in it by the way things turned out last term; however I too feel it might be appropriate to remove it from Hogwarts for the very reasons just stated. I suppose what I mean to say is, perhaps another location instead of dismantling it or rehiding it here would be best.” He concluded calmly, giving a small smile to the Astronimy Professor.
He noticed Zaria quietly making her way into the Staff room and gave her a small smile and a slight wave.

Andi sat back, her mind going to the Daily Prophet article. She couldn't shake off the names of the men killed - 'The Daily Prophet would like to extend our condolences to the families of the three guards killed in the wake of Voldemortist's escape, Flavian Fortesque, Brendon Alexander Gillingdale and Morgan Whitney.'...
Men shouldn't be killed while they were doing their jobs. It wasn't right.
"People have lost their lives, their sanity and their morality to this book," she said, bending over to clasp her knees. "It seems to serve no useful purpose, except to lure idiots into it's grasp. And there's plenty of those at Hogwarts..." She scowled a little. "I think destroying it might be a good idea overall. Not that it's up to us, is it?"
She looked at the Headmistress.

"They've left it here," Rae shrugged. "It was the Ministry's responsibility to move it years ago, and they left it here. If we want to destroy it, we can.
