Emily walked into the classroom and looked around. just as I pictured it she said in her head. then went over to the teacher and said, " hello my name is Emily Aqua, I am very glad to be here today."

Tag wasn't quite sure what she was insinuating. He looked up at her suspiciously. Did she mean dreams as in, aspirations? What did she mean by your age? He was pretty sure that none of his friends were having this sort of dream. He could have asked Thump, but he'd been in detention for four days straight.
Tag swallowed and continued. He had come this far.
"I dreamt about . . . you. Not a bad dream," he added quickly. A slight flush was creeping up his neck. She was going to think he was creepy. "It was in Charms class. It was the oddest thing, I never dream about classes." Except when I'm in my underwear, doing sums at the chalkboard. "But the weird thing is how real everything felt. I thought I was actually sitting there talking about charms! I mean, I even got bored while you were talking." Tag realized that last part was too much detail, but it was too late. "Anyways part of me still feels like it happened, and all my friends think I'm nuts to think so. Am I really. . . delusional, professor?" Tag sat back in his chair, watching her face anxiously. If she thought he was insane, she would tell him. But deep down, he was hoping she would tell him that he'd tapped into some alternate universe where his alternate person earned points for an alternate Ravenclaw and spouted witty phrases.
Andi's face shut down. It became as communicative as a rock. A corpse would have had more expression. "I think," she said slowly, and carefuly, "that you have been working too hard. And that you need some rest and perhaps a nice person to take your mind off things. Also, perhaps a good whap across the head to put you in a deep sleep. Much better than anasthetics, I assure you. I'm sure you can find someone to oblige if these dreams continue."

"That's very nice, get out of here and knock on the door," snapped Andi. "If I allowed every Hermione, Veronica and Gwenevere," she had a whole set of names for males as well - Algernon, Abercombie, Langsfield, "then I wouldn't even bother with that block-of-wood-and-hinges, would I?"

"But you don't understand!," Tag blurted out. "I know it was real!" He began to babble. "I know it was real. . . I was there, I saw it. . . I saw you there too. . . " Tag shot up out of his chair, a crazed look in his eye, and bolted for the door.
He was wringing his hands as he exited, still muttering to himself, and throwing looks over his shoulder. "I know it happened, it's all right here in my head. She knows what I'm talking about. She's hiding something. . . she's messing with all of us. . . "

Andi stared after the boy, for once, shocked right out of her composure, eyes wide. "Good heavens," she murmured to herself. "He's... well, let's be kind. He's distracted. I'll put out word to the nurse." Andi shook her head, clucking her tongue slightly. Maybe she should have given him that hard ding across the ear, poor kid.

Tia walked over towards her favourite Professor's office, a stealthy smile on her face. Re-arranging her features, she marched up to the door and knocked loudly, her hands clencheing her wand - Just in case Professor Mao-Macdougal was in too nasty a temper and flew at her to tear her to bits and shreds. She knocked yet again, waiting pretty enthusiastically.

Meandering 08-09-2006 07:02 AM

The Charms professor turned. Andi had been perusing her book-shelf. It was interesting to note that when her hand brushed against a book, the shiny leather and neat appearance faded to become a more realistic, much thumbed copy of Meas Un Maida (Monsters and More Monsters). "Come in," she said, stepping away sharply from her bookshelf. Instantly, the books closed over in their shining shell.

Maxilocks 08-09-2006 07:43 AM

Tia walked inside the office, looking up at the Professor. She didn't seem very pre-occupied, in Tia's opinion. "Good afternoon, Professor," she said happily, skipping a few feet as she walked up to where the Professor stood, and pretending to be extremely cheerful. "I was wondering if you could help me with something - I wanted to know a charm that can strengthen a Love Potion, Professor," she finished, not at all inclined to hdie the huge smile that swept across her face. She wanted the Professor to get suspicious.

Meandering 08-09-2006 08:02 AM

Andi looked at the girl, her eyebrows raising. "A love potion?" she repeated dubiously, giving the girl an up-and-down glance. Oh, well. Poor girl could hardly expect to attract anyone honestly - but that didn't mean Andi had to aid and abet her. "I'm sorry," Andi said, with a shrug. "I can't do that. You'll find that good food and a short skirt make up for any lack in looks. Is that all? Good day to you."

Maxilocks 08-09-2006 08:24 AM

Tia coloured. She didn't need to attract people, she already had a boyfriend at Hogwarts, and she was content with him. But the Professor, apparently, needed a good spanking. "I'm happier with my looks than you are, at any rate, Professor," she said, her voice calm and quiet friendly as she spoke. "And good day to you too," she added, marching out of the office, her eyes flashing dangerously, though she did not let the Professor see this.

Meandering 08-09-2006 08:31 AM

Andi looked after the rude girl in a mild shock. Good heavens, what was this with storming in and out? She had only been trying to help. Andi tossed her head, noting with satisfaction, the gleam of onyx on her hair (she wasn't quite as unhappy with her looks as some would surmise). Then she turned back to her books with only the slightest play of a smirk about her mouth.

Jenni knocked on the door, and waited for a reply.

Meandering 08-09-2006 06:57 PM

Andi sighed, and walked towards the door, pulling it open. "Yes?" she said, looking down at the Slytherin girl. "How may I help you?"

Disneymaniac 08-10-2006 01:08 PM

"I was...er...wondering Professor if you could help me with some extra studying I'm doing?" Jenni said, politely.

Meandering 08-10-2006 07:56 PM

Andi raised an eyebrow at the girl. "Certainly," she said. "But I presume there are study groups for this sort of thing. And obviously, I won't be able to help you if what you want is illegal or anything."

Backslash 08-10-2006 08:42 PM

After having seen one particular student STORM away from the direction of ZiZhen's office in a huff, not to mention a general atmosphere of unease that wafted from the Charms office like the stink of a dead skunk, Professor Opteryx decided he would pay the other professor a visit and see what the fuss was about. The door was slightly ajar, so he poked his head into the room after knocking quietly on the door itself. Hopefully he wouldn't recieve a faceful of book, which, given the current atmosphere, he was almost half-expecting.

Meandering 08-10-2006 08:46 PM

Andi looked up at the sight of Professor Opteryx. He was a runed man*. It is quite possible that Andi needed sleep, some chocolate and much, much less of students running in and out of her office. She dismissed the Slytherin with a wave of her hand.

"Yes, Opteryx?" she said with a raised eyebrow. "What can I do you for?"

*Rune = ruined.

Disneymaniac 08-10-2006 08:48 PM

Jenni chuckled slightly. "No I don't think it's illegal. I would like to learn how to do the protean charm."

Andi shook her head. "Sorry," she said. "I don't think that at this age you have the capacity to do a complicated spell like that. Maybe when you're older. Alrightthankyougoodbye."

She charmed the door shut.

Backslash 08-10-2006 08:57 PM

Professor Opteryx blinked as ZiZhen practically kicked the student out of her office, staring at the closed door for a few seconds before turning back to the Charms professor.

"...Stressed?" He asked, somewhat lamely as it was blindingly obvious that was the case.

Meandering 08-10-2006 09:00 PM

Andi gave Opteryx a smile that was nothing more than an upturned grimace and some teeth. "No, what makes you say that?" she asked, sarcastically as she drew out some tea and poured it. She indicated with an eyebrow, mutely asking if Opteryx wanted any.

Backslash 08-10-2006 09:14 PM

"Let's just say it's a hunch," Professor Opteryx said, sitting down and picking up a cup of tea with a nod of thanks. "I've also caught snatches of the student's...antics during one of your last classes."

Meandering 08-10-2006 09:17 PM

Andi closed her eyes momentarily. "Don't remind me," she muttered. "That miserable, lying, two-faced little lizard of a Lee Andrez - and then that bloody Gryffindor who hexed me and tried to blame it on Nikolai Vannacutt. I swear to God, if Andrei Vannacutt ever got wind of these happenings..." She shuddered, not entirely theatrically and sipped at her tea.

"Oh well," she added nastily. "I managed to sell that extra hair off and add a little something to my saving-up-for-an-Iron-Maiden-and-Some-Thumbscrews fund."

"...You know, it might help to try and...do things a little differently. Sometimes students only behave nastier if they know that they'll get into trouble for it, if only to give you a headache," Opteryx suggested cautiously from behind his teacup.

Meandering 08-10-2006 09:36 PM

Andi's eyes snapped open as she glared at the man who was in danger of burning his nose with the cup. "Oh? So you're saying it's my fault, is it?" she snapped dangerously and not completely reasonably either.

Spork! 08-10-2006 09:43 PM

Amanda walked in."Professer if your not busy I have a quest-oh.I'll come back later"she said embarresed and left.
