He was wringing his hands as he exited, still muttering to himself, and throwing looks over his shoulder. "I know it happened, it's all right here in my head. She knows what I'm talking about. She's hiding something. . . she's messing with all of us. . . " |
Andi stared after the boy, for once, shocked right out of her composure, eyes wide. "Good heavens," she murmured to herself. "He's... well, let's be kind. He's distracted. I'll put out word to the nurse." Andi shook her head, clucking her tongue slightly. Maybe she should have given him that hard ding across the ear, poor kid. |
Tia walked over towards her favourite Professor's office, a stealthy smile on her face. Re-arranging her features, she marched up to the door and knocked loudly, her hands clencheing her wand - Just in case Professor Mao-Macdougal was in too nasty a temper and flew at her to tear her to bits and shreds. She knocked yet again, waiting pretty enthusiastically. |
The Charms professor turned. Andi had been perusing her book-shelf. It was interesting to note that when her hand brushed against a book, the shiny leather and neat appearance faded to become a more realistic, much thumbed copy of Meas Un Maida (Monsters and More Monsters). "Come in," she said, stepping away sharply from her bookshelf. Instantly, the books closed over in their shining shell. |
Tia walked inside the office, looking up at the Professor. She didn't seem very pre-occupied, in Tia's opinion. "Good afternoon, Professor," she said happily, skipping a few feet as she walked up to where the Professor stood, and pretending to be extremely cheerful. "I was wondering if you could help me with something - I wanted to know a charm that can strengthen a Love Potion, Professor," she finished, not at all inclined to hdie the huge smile that swept across her face. She wanted the Professor to get suspicious. |
Andi looked at the girl, her eyebrows raising. "A love potion?" she repeated dubiously, giving the girl an up-and-down glance. Oh, well. Poor girl could hardly expect to attract anyone honestly - but that didn't mean Andi had to aid and abet her. "I'm sorry," Andi said, with a shrug. "I can't do that. You'll find that good food and a short skirt make up for any lack in looks. Is that all? Good day to you." |
Tia coloured. She didn't need to attract people, she already had a boyfriend at Hogwarts, and she was content with him. But the Professor, apparently, needed a good spanking. "I'm happier with my looks than you are, at any rate, Professor," she said, her voice calm and quiet friendly as she spoke. "And good day to you too," she added, marching out of the office, her eyes flashing dangerously, though she did not let the Professor see this. |
Andi looked after the rude girl in a mild shock. Good heavens, what was this with storming in and out? She had only been trying to help. Andi tossed her head, noting with satisfaction, the gleam of onyx on her hair (she wasn't quite as unhappy with her looks as some would surmise). Then she turned back to her books with only the slightest play of a smirk about her mouth. |
Jenni knocked on the door, and waited for a reply. |
Andi sighed, and walked towards the door, pulling it open. "Yes?" she said, looking down at the Slytherin girl. "How may I help you?" |
"I was...er...wondering Professor if you could help me with some extra studying I'm doing?" Jenni said, politely. |
Andi raised an eyebrow at the girl. "Certainly," she said. "But I presume there are study groups for this sort of thing. And obviously, I won't be able to help you if what you want is illegal or anything." |
After having seen one particular student STORM away from the direction of ZiZhen's office in a huff, not to mention a general atmosphere of unease that wafted from the Charms office like the stink of a dead skunk, Professor Opteryx decided he would pay the other professor a visit and see what the fuss was about. The door was slightly ajar, so he poked his head into the room after knocking quietly on the door itself. Hopefully he wouldn't recieve a faceful of book, which, given the current atmosphere, he was almost half-expecting. |
Andi looked up at the sight of Professor Opteryx. He was a runed man*. It is quite possible that Andi needed sleep, some chocolate and much, much less of students running in and out of her office. She dismissed the Slytherin with a wave of her hand. "Yes, Opteryx?" she said with a raised eyebrow. "What can I do you for?" *Rune = ruined. |
Jenni chuckled slightly. "No I don't think it's illegal. I would like to learn how to do the protean charm." |

She charmed the door shut. |
Professor Opteryx blinked as ZiZhen practically kicked the student out of her office, staring at the closed door for a few seconds before turning back to the Charms professor. "...Stressed?" He asked, somewhat lamely as it was blindingly obvious that was the case. |
Andi gave Opteryx a smile that was nothing more than an upturned grimace and some teeth. "No, what makes you say that?" she asked, sarcastically as she drew out some tea and poured it. She indicated with an eyebrow, mutely asking if Opteryx wanted any. |
"Let's just say it's a hunch," Professor Opteryx said, sitting down and picking up a cup of tea with a nod of thanks. "I've also caught snatches of the student's...antics during one of your last classes." |
Andi closed her eyes momentarily. "Don't remind me," she muttered. "That miserable, lying, two-faced little lizard of a Lee Andrez - and then that bloody Gryffindor who hexed me and tried to blame it on Nikolai Vannacutt. I swear to God, if Andrei Vannacutt ever got wind of these happenings..." She shuddered, not entirely theatrically and sipped at her tea. "Oh well," she added nastily. "I managed to sell that extra hair off and add a little something to my saving-up-for-an-Iron-Maiden-and-Some-Thumbscrews fund." |

Andi's eyes snapped open as she glared at the man who was in danger of burning his nose with the cup. "Oh? So you're saying it's my fault, is it?" she snapped dangerously and not completely reasonably either. |
Amanda walked in."Professer if your not busy I have a quest-oh.I'll come back later"she said embarresed and left. |
