Andi's eyebrows flew up. They had flown up so often in the course of the day, and her lessons that she was considering having them anchored there. "What is it now?" she drawled, playing with some ribbons. "Come to demand more housepoints?"

"No Professor I haven't. I have come to apologise for my behaviour in class today. I am sorry about it. I am just getting used to being with people and well, I don't think I am doing a very good job of it," Jenni smiled weakly.

Andi snorted. 'Absolutely' was what she had felt like saying - though who was she to talk? Andi was possibly the second most anti-social person on earth, with her cousin Karl Redde-Macdougal coming first. "Apology accepted," said Andi tersely.

Brittany wanted to talk to the professor for a minute about class so she knocked on her office door and waited for an answer

Andi took in her breath with a sharp hiss and wondered just how much this job was worth to her. Oh the pleasure it would be to allow her temper to flare just for one glorious moment and purge every single student from the earth. Of course when she calmed down, she would probably be sorry.

Probably.

"Come in," snapped Andi.

Brittany could see that the professor still had the same temper that she had in class. But she came in anyway. She tried to smile but she just couldn't because she was so afraid. "Um professor I just wanted to tell you in person that I am very sorry for what happened in Class today. I am one of the students that you took points off of for talking But I didn't know that you were in there Because I stopped immediately after you came inand I know that this is not an excuse I just wanted to let you know that I was sincerely Sorry." Brittany finished not making eye contact with her.

"Thank you Professor," Jenni said with a nod. She slowly left the classroom. But quickly said at the door, "I think you are an amazing teacher."

Andi bit in a sigh. Did they think she held grudges? Never forgot nor forgave? Well, alright, so maybe she did hold grudges, and maybe she had never forgotten, nor forgiven the little brat who had shoved her down when she was five (and if she ever saw that punk again...).

But still.

"Apology accepted," she said curtly. "I'm sure you're not the only one who has talked in class." Just one of those dumb enough to get caught...

Andi almost did a double-take. The unexpected praise widened her eyes and brightened her spirits, though admittedly, her spirits were so black that ten buckets of polish and even a spit and rub probably wouldn't have it presentable. "...Thank you," she said, rather stunned.

"You are welcome Professor," Jenni smiled before leaving, closing the door behind her.

Brittany Started to smile as she started to talk But when she finished Her Sentence Her smile faded. "oh Ok" brittany said looking a little hurt "well I get out of your way now."

Knocking on the door before slowly pushing it open Thump walked into the classroom and spotted Miss Mac-Dougal sitting at her tabel."I just wanted to say professor,i profoundly enjoyed you class today,that being my first ever wizarding class you've made me very anxious to take more and i cant wait for you next one.You're a great teacher and i can honestly say i learned alot today." said Thump and then taking a step back waitng for the teachers response hoping he wouldent get points taken away for coming to her office so late.

Andi was beginning to wonder if there was a schoolwide conspiracy to discomfit her. Last term hadn't been too bad, though nicotine cravings had rendered most of the term a hazy sort of blur. But this year - ye Gods - she had to deal with Andrei Vannacutt, letters, poison-pen letters, Andrei Vannacutt, classes, praise for her teaching, Andrei Vannacutt...

Andi shook her head. "Thank you," she said, a trifle ungraciously, highly unused to not being able to use sarcasm or insult. "Don't let me detain you."

"Ok Professor hope to see you around and i cant wait for the next lesson" and with that Thump rushed out the class looking back just once to make sure that the professor wasent going to hex him.

Cassandra knocked on the open door of the Charms professor's office. She peeked in and said in a low tone "Professor, please let me first apologize for barging in on you, but I thought you should know... I found this on the Slytherin table in the great hall:

I'm not sure how it got there, or who Professor Plum, Colonel Mustard and Miss Scarlett are, but I thought you should know someone is papering the school with this filth. I couldn't remove the original piece from the table, so I transcribes the parchment so you could see.

I apologize that our first one-on-one meeting had to be this, you may already have knoledge of this, but I thought if you didn't, you should know. I really enjoyed your class and look forward to the next."

Cassandra stood in the doorway, hoping not to get hit with a knockback jinx. She liked this professor and prayed she did the right thing in showing her the notice.

Andi picked up the parchment and read it through, agonizingly slow. Then she looked up and gave the Slytherin girl a long look. "Thank you," she said finally, tearing up the paper in slow, alarming strokes. "I'm already aware of this." Her eyes were glinting again, shining like the spark travelling towards the dynamite.

Cassandra looked down "Sorry to have bothered you, I just felt it was my duty to inform you. With your permission, I'll take my leave."

Andi raised an eyebrow at the sight of the lying Gryffindor. "And how may I help you?" she said. Her wand was near her hand, and since wandless magic was a must for any adult witch, or wizard, was probably well-equipped to deal with anything in the future - by shortening other, this Gryffindor's for example, futures short.

Andi sighed. "Yes, come in," she said, wondering if she should just glue her door shut after a lesson.

Lua chuckled inwardly at the sight of the professor holding a wand, did i really scare you this much?. Lua couldn't help but wander. Lua raised an eyebrow at her comment, was this professor dellusional? "You asked me to come see you after class professor" she answered.

When the professor was busy speaking to a young slytherin, lua leaned in closer to lee, and whispered "I need to speak to you about last year, something has come up, i need your help", lua pulled away brushing her hair and acting innocent.

"Oh yes, that," said Andi wrily. "I'd like to know why you shot that spell at me, using Nikolai's wand, and attempted to blame it on him." She sat back in her chair boredly, waiting for a doubtless extremely weak excuse to cover up the fact that she was probably just another idiotic Gryffindor who thought it would be cool to disrupt classes.
