Andi looked up from sorting her ribbons in surprised irritation. Was there to be no peace today? Quickly, she glanced in the mirror, annoyed to see her face was still flushed after the prefect's assumptions. Her and Andrei Vannacutt! Forsooth!

"Come in," she snapped, her eyes flashing, adding under her breath, "And this better be good..."

Andrei Vannacutt! Again! Andi's eyes were glinting like little sparks of fire by now, she half rose from her chair, and settled on the edge of her table instead, beginning to obsessively, compulsively sort the ribbons, letting her fingers feel the silk and the slightly purr of the spells on them. "You do realise, that since Vannacutt is not a consort, nor even a friend to me, it's rather silly to come to me about this and do something about it?" she said, a trifle sarcastically. "What pompous platitudes did he come up with this time?"

Andi sighed, letting a few of the ribbons drop from her hands. She gave Francesca a Look. "He told you that you were a bad influence on Nik?" Andi's eyes were beginning to flash again. "Really? What a -" she caught herself in time. "And what do you want me to do about it if you don't want me to write and tell him to bugger off, hm?" She looked at the ribbons in her hand, and her face suddenly began to take on the same hue, "I'm seeing him at Hogsmeade, perhaps this weekend," she said hurriedly. "You don't want me to talk to him for you?"

"Hmmmph," said Andi quietly, a dark look on her face. Sharply, she stuffed the ribbons back into her box and shook her head irritably. "I'll be sure to speak to him about it when I see the idiot. Now get out of here before I take fifty points off Slytherin for irritating me and get fired by the headmistress for being unfair."

She flung herself back into her chair, looking like she was preparing a long, nasty sulk.

He closed his eyes for a moment and a grin spread across his face. He thought hard and understood what she meant and turned around. He waved and gave a brief smile to Lee and walked out of the office.

Nicole knocked on the door, and then slowly walked into the room. She let out a big sigh and began to speak. "Hello, proffesor. My name is Nicole, and I'm a first year in Gryffindor. I am looking forward to taking charms. It seems like a very interesting and important class." Nicole hoped to be get on good side. After what she had heard about the proffesor, she had carefully chosen her words. She was very, very nervous.

"How very nice for you," said Andi boredly, playing with her quill. "Cranberry, what a very nice color." The rest of her words sounded like she had been forced to memorize them, they trotted out as wooden as dolls, "I - do - hope - you - will - have - a - nice - year - at - Hogwarts. Alrighthankyougoodbye."

She paused and then snapped at the girl, "And next time, knock before entering."

Andi nodded at the Gryffindor, somewhat appeased that she had knocked at least. "If you can learn what I can teach Ms. Smith, then perhaps you could say that Charms is indeed a very important class. Though any idiot can wave their wand about and say a few words," added Andi under her breath. "Alrightthankyougoodbye." It was such a quick, useful phrase. Andi was beginning to find herself addicted to it.

Sean walked up to the professor's office and knocked. After told to come in, he walked in and said, "Hello Professor. My name is Sean Davidson and I am a first year Ravenclaw and I just thought I would come introduce myself before classes actually start. I am looking forward to Charms very much. Have a nice evening."

Joanna walked in,"Hello Professer, i am Joanna Strittmater...1st year Hufflepuff...i just wanted to know when my first class is. Oh and i wanted to get introduced before class...."She smiled.

There were several new students in the room when Nikolai entered. Swiftly, Andi proceeded to get rid of them...

"Your first class will be when I choose it to be, thankyougoodbye," snapped Andi. She was rather sick of people introducing themselves to her especially when she mostly had no interest whatsoever in them. Very few caught her interest or showed any talent.

After ushering them away, and ignoring the knock on her door, Andi settled back into her chair and eyed the boy before her.

"What exactly is going on, Nikolai?" she said, comparatively mild. Less like a rabid crocodile than a rabid shark. "I do not enjoy rumors being spread about me and your incorrigible father."

Nik scowled and raised his hands in an impatient gesture, "And you think I do?" He was sick of this whole situation and he had half a mind to poison his father for ever writing to AMMZ in the first place.

"That bloody -- I mean Mr. Andrez informed me that you said your father and I were... getting it on," she said, giving the last few words a poison drip of disdain. "Let me assure you that this is most certainly untrue. Your father cannot abide me," there was a slightly pang there, "and I most certainly detest him. And frankly, I don't think he's bringing you up well at all. You get into fights, you bully others - and that old goat is even trying to deter Ms. Clairmont from being your friend as a bad influence. Hah!"

Andi snapped her fingers. "Precisely! Even without trying, Vannacutt manages to make a mess." Her voice was utterly lacking in sentiment, sounding rather more like a jeweler checking a coal that could be a diamond, when she added, "You've got talent, Nikolai, but you're irresponsible, undisciplined and you use your looks to get out of things. Say what you will about Andrei Vannacutt," and she ought to know since she was the one saying most of it, "he is talented and disciplined." Even though he's as responsible as a rabbit and uses his good looks like a pretty girl at a dance.
