You enter the small, cluttered office to find it... empty.

The room is filled with all sorts of odd contraptions. To your left some strange contraption with two metal silver sticks coming out of it. To your right, a bucket full of all sorts of balls. While the office is tossled, everything seems to have some sort of order. Books, books, and more books line the walls, and a small desk sits in the center back part of the room.

The door, however is wide open, and it is easy to see that Professor Light was once in here... she just, well, isn't.

Nick walked up too the Professor "You're getting notes ready for Mugge Studies? Yes! Does that mean classes will start soon?" he said excitedly.

Professor Light introduced herself to the two students who had entered the room. She noticed the room was clearing out, and it was time for her to get some work done. She had to run down to the library as well.

"Yes, I plan on having my first class very soon! Most likely this Saturday sometime."

Professor Light grabbed her bag and moved toward the door.
"Hey everyone, thanks very much for visiting my office. Right now I need to run down to the library, and I'm going to close my office for a little so when I get back I can get some work done. You can come back as soon as the first lesson is over!"

Professor Light waited paitently for everyone to leave, and she left the office to head down to the library.

It is unusual that this office is empty at all. No ones hears the rustling and shifting going around inside, and door is closed.

Inside the office however, the room is completely done for. All the interesting Muggle contraptions lining the walls are everywhere-some broken, some just moved. A telephone beeps loudly off the hook, and the books lining the walls are thrown everywhere. Junk and trash is everywhere, and the walls look like someone has been shooting spells at them in anger.

Everything seems to be in the room still, just out of place. Well... sort of. Upon careful examination, all of the notes on Professor Light's desk are gone. More speficially, the notes concerning the Book of Mysteria.

Professor Light strolled down the hall toward her office, holding a new stack of notes and happily whistling a tune. As soon as she got near the door, she could tell something was wrong. Her office had been locked when she left it. Now, the door was still closed, but very much openable. And when it was opened, Professor Light gasped out loud.

Her office was completely destroyed. Some of her favorite pocessions lay broken on the floor in front of her feet. Her desk, with all her notes and personal letters and photos from her family lay crumpled up and ruined everywhere. Her electronics that she had worked so hard to get working at Hogwarts flashed and beeped in the room. It looked like a bomb had gone off in her tiny, already messy office.

"O... My... God..." Professor Light choked out before she crumpled to her knees and put her hands in her face. Her brain slowed down, while her heart sped up in shock.

What in Merlin's beard just happened here?

Suddenly, her head shot up and she stood up quickly, hurrying over to her desk. She maddly began to tear through the papers there, her arms flying as she pushed off any remaining artifacts on her desk and pulled open and out doors. The clanging could probably be heard down the hall, but she didn't care. Finally she gripped her empty desk with both hands and broke down crying.

They took my notes and papers on the Book of Mysteria. O no...no no no NO!

Professor Light rubbed her eyes with her robes... "Rae is going to fire me."

Alicia looked at the commotion, and when she saw the professor, she smiled, but when she saw the office, she gasped!! "OMG!! Professor, I swear, I did not see anything happen, and, and,it wasnt me, i swear, i was sitting outside on hte bench waiting for you, to say that i'd just be honoured to attend youre classess, but oh my gosh!" Alicia said, nearly crying, thinking they thought it was her fault.

Feeling a bit better, she walked over to the Professor, and put an arm around her houlder, tears stll streaming down her eyes "I am so sorry" she said. "Would you like me to help repair and fix?" she asked the dumbfounded professor.

As Anjali approched Professor Light's office, she saw a girl and the Professor standing in amazed. Anjali greeted the Professor.

"Hello Professor!" Anjali said, excited.

Her eyes fell on the mess that was now the Professor's office. Anjali's mouth fell opened as she looked around. She couldn't believe what she saw.

Professor Light took a second to notice students had entered her room. She had been very lost in her own thoughts...

Who did this? Why? Was it some sort of Muggleborn hate crime from one of the students? Or someone else? But my door was locked!!

Professor Light barely heard the girl talking to her, but she looked around when the girl put her arm around her. She gave her a smile and a weak laugh.

"You-Your Alicia, right? I-I- know it's not your fault. Don't worry... I just- I just- I don't know what happened. Trust me, I know it wasn't any of my students... it couldn't be. My door was locked. I just don't know what to do. I had some really important notes about... well, they were notes I did not want to fall into the wrong hands." Professor Light gave herself a weak laugh. "I'm glad for the offer to help fix, but the repairing isn't the real issue. It's just, I had personal notes and photos that are scattered around the room,"

Professor Light paused and reached down, picking up a photo of herself after she graduated Hogwarts, only a few years ago. It was crumpled into a ball. She pulle dout her wanded and muttered something quietly, and instantly the photo was straightened. But the crease lines remained. "Somethings are irreplaceable."

Professor Light looked around her office, and tried her optimism. "But I can fix it... and I would love the help, thank you very much for offering, but I had planned on teaching my first class today. That's my job, to teach. So I'll just have to wait to fix up my office. I have a feeling this was down by someone or thing that doesn't like Muggles very much."

Just then, another student entered the room. Professor Light had calmed herself down a little bit. Mostly just the initial shock had worn off. The next student, a girl she recognized from Gryffindor, seemed just as amazed as she was. "Er.. Um... Thanks for stopping in... as you can see, my office is a bit... um... messy right now." Professor Light winked and gave a light chuckle.

Shan entered Professor Light's office but stopped short upon noticing the disturbance before her. Her hand rose to cover her mouth as she gasped in surprise.
"Professor, are you okay?" she asked, looking over at the Professor with worry. She wondered who on earth would do such a thing.

Nick quickly came in the Office. He had just heard about Professor Light's Office being destroyed. "OMG! What happened? Who would do such a thing?" Nick said, surprised that someone would do this. "Would you like some help Professor?"

AC was really looking forward to see Professor Light. He went down to her office.

When he came in it was so destroy, that he felt angers rising in his heart.

“Professor, Professor! Professor light, are you all right.” AC asked. It was then that he realized the other students.

“I’m. Really…. Professor. It wasn’t me, and I have no idea who did it. Can I help you with anything?” He told her.

Nick helped clean up some of the Office. He stopped to think of an easier way to have everything fixed, put back in its place, and have the notes back. "Professor," said Nick. "Could you use the Repero spell, to fix your things, the Wingardium Liviosa spell, to put everything back, and the Accio spell, to bring your notes back?"

Professor Light slowly felt herself smiling once more and looked around at all the students who had offered her good wishes. She laughed slightly and spoke,

"Thank you all so much for offering to help! It will definitely be nice to have all the extra hands, and yes Nick, using magic will of course be helpful. I may be the Muggle Studies teacher, but I'm still a witch! It'll all be alright. I do have to inform the headmistress about some of my missing notes. And I don't think many of the professors will like that." Professor Light breathed, a little worried. "It'll all be fine."

Who are you trying to convince? Them... or yourself?

Professor Light moved from behind her desk and began to repair a few of the broken objects. "The problem is, Muggle objects don't often react well when repaired by magic, but we really don't have any other choice, do we?" Professor Light looked around at the rest of the students who had offered to help. "If you'd like to help... maybe you could help me pick up some of the papers on the ground? I always hate to ask people to do thing for me, but I think I'd be in over my head if I tried to do this all myself."

Nick helped picked up the papers. "Wow!" Nick said. "I never knew that some Muggle objects don't react well when repaired by magic. I guess I do learn something new everyday."

Markie quickly began picking up the papers, forgetting that she was a witch and she could use her wand. Muggle studdies was her favorite class because she was muggleborn, so she wanted to help out the professor as much as possible. She smiled and contemplated how great the next lesson would be.

Whende bounced up to the office door. She was slightly out of breath. The words were actually still there that time. Looking up at them, she knocked lightly on the door and waited, rocking back and forth on her heels as she did. Yet, the idea of Patrick and.. whoever she was stuck in a room kept nagging at her mind. I'll be back. She thought. As she was turning to leave, she got an idea.

She'd just leave a message. She got out her notebook and scrawled a quick message on it. When she finished, she stuck it to the door. In her untidy scrawl, it read: There are two students stuck in the Duelling arena. Could you kindly come help? Thank you.

Then she bounced away.

Professor Light approached her classroom tiredly. She was getting ready to start her thrid lesson, but after the potions co-op vacuum mess... she was really tired out. She looked at her door and blinked.

Then she blinked again.

First there was a note on her door. "Dueling?" She sighed and hoped they had alerted another teacher...she looked at the date on the note... it was almost a week old. She'd have to ask Whende how that went, and apologize.

Another blink.

The door had a message written on it.

Muggle studies... dead horse... What an unimaginitive comparison! It wasn't enough that they destroyed my room, now they have to attack my door too.

Not realizing she was talking outloud, she walked in the door going, "I swear, when I figure out who did this, I personally find them and let them know exactly what I think of their little antics..."

Her room was almost back to normal. No students were left in it, but the floor was visible... her papers were stacked up nicely. Professor Light smiled and went to sit down at her desk... she'd have to give those kids some bonus points on their next homework.

Phoebe knocked on the mugglestudies proffesor's door. She loved muggle- studies even though she herself was muggle-born. Phoebe really enjoyed the lessons too. She pretty much just wanted to talk to the proffesor and ask a few questions. Phoebe had tried to talk to her friends but many of them were not muggleborn and couldn't help her.

Rosalie knocked on the door to Professor Light office with urgency. She didn't bother to read the message on the door. She was sick of them. She just needed to talk to someone who would listen.

After pacing for a few moments, she felt restless and left.

Phoebe saw Roslaie come and go and was deciding maybe she should go if the proffesor wasn't back soon. No, I'll wait five more minutes. She thought. Knowing my luck as soon as I leave she will come. So Phoebe sat down on the floor and waited a little longer.
