Default Madame Rowena's Office

*Thinking that you know far too little about you resident librarian you come into her office which before had been just another room for books. She has a large cherry wood desk and the walls seem like they are made out of bookshelves because you can hardly see any wall behind them. An oak ladder leans against one of the bookshelves and runs along the rail magically as certain books come off the shelves and others are replaced with an invisible hand as the ladder passes. Books are scattered all about the floors in large stacks but as you move towards Madame Rowena's desk you arrive at two large leather chairs in front of her desk. Along the bookshelves behind her desk however you see many pictures suspended mid-air without frames. Many are of the librarian on her expeditions during her holiday. The one that catches you eye; however, is where Madame Rowena is standing next to a cave wall where an ancient family tree is displayed. Away from her pictures frames you see a swirling pensive and numerous jeweled books in a glass cabinet behind her desk. You see that a brass lock holds the cabinet closed and look away in order to not attract attention to yourself. On her desk, a large scroll has been rolled out and books used are used paper weights to keep the scroll from curling. The scroll seems completely black, but as you look through the magnifying glass suspended in the air; you see very ancient scriptures and symbols from ancient wizarding books. At this very moment Madame Rowena comes through the door and is excited to see her first visitor*

"Hello! How are you today? I was just doing some research on the four founders of Hogwarts, a particular hobby of mine. Please come in, is there anything in particular I can help you with?” says Madame Rowena with great warmth.

*Madame Rowena enters her office to read a note which had just arrived by owl. She unfolds it and begins to read*

Quote:
An owl flutters down to the Librarian. It is from a small black owl. Written on the envelope is Madame Rowena on the back in smaller writing sys, Phoebe Moult. If the letter were open it would read:

Dear Madame Rowena,
It's me Phoebe Moult. I hope you are well, I haven't seen you round that much. I am writing this letter to tell you something. As you know there has been strange happenings at Hogwarts lately, One that would of most affected you is the missing transfiguration books.

I was close to the shelve when they dissapeared but am sorry to say I did not see anything but the result. The bricks chipped away at. I do have good news and this is why I sent you this owl. Later that day I was heading toward the common room when I heard a cry. Running towards where I thought it was coming from (the kitchens) I saw something.

It was the transfiguration books. They were on platters and someone or something had purposley put tomato sauce over them saying something along the lines of Buon appetite. I can't remeber the exact phrasing. I would of took them back up to you but they seemed to heavy and I thought maybe a Proffesor or yourself should of seen it.

I hope this gets to you in time, I thought it was important that you know and I am sure you will be looking for the books. If you need any help carrying the books back up to the library I am more than willing to help.

Phoebe Moult
Under this was a small note saying:
P.S. I have some History of Magic Homework on famous Poltegeists. If you know any books it would be gratefully appreciated.
*Determined to waste no more time Madame Rowena quickly heads out of her office and towards the kitchen in hopes of obtaining her lost transfiguration texts*
