Professor Virohsa opened the door to her class and waited for students to arrive.

Cassandra walked into the classroom and sat down

Jackie walked in and sat down, waiting for class to start.

Amanda walked in the door."Hello proffeser."she said,tears still running down her face.

Jamie waddled into class, feeling the transition of the cooler weather outside to the humid hotness of the greenhouse. He shook his head and groaned; oh eeewww. He found himself a spot to stand with his head bowed, wishing his curls had an air conditioning unit.

Professor Virohsa looked at the crying girl. "Everything allright?", she asked with curiousity.

Whende skipped into the room, her clothes and multi-colored hair we're still a bit wet. She waved to Professor Virohsa, who appeared to be busy with someone else. Then sat down near the front, letting her feet dance away below her and humming softly to herself.

Lua walked into herbology class beaming, it was about time she learned something about plants or herbs or spices, which ever order comes first. Skimming the room for a preference seat, lua strolled and sat in the centre back row.

Erin stepped into the Herbology classroom and looked around. She saw Whende and walked over, pulling her bag off her shoulder as she did so. Erin sat down next to her friend and smiled before unzipping her bag and taking out her book, some parchment, a nearly empty bottle of ink, and a quill.

Whende smiled back and started looking through her bag for the proper things. She finally pulled out some slightly crinkled parchment, her old quill, and her Herbology book. When they were all layed out in front of her, she kicked her back under the seat and went back to humming.

Kassie walked in and looked around. she didnt recognize anyone else. she got her stuff out and waited for directions.

Lauren walked into the greenhouse, hit in the face by a cloud of hot, wet air. The windows were steamy with all the bodies inside so she had expected heat, but she was taken aback by the heavy air - it was actually making it difficult to breathe. But nevertheless, she pushed through the fact that sweat had begun to drip down the back of her neck under her robes (who's idea was it to wear these big black things, anyway?) and shuffled into the greenhouse farther. She found a spot to stand and to lay her bag down, so she settled there, getting comfortable before the rest of the students arrived and class began.

Touy wandered into the greenhouse. She looked up from the book she was reading when she notice it was quite warm in here. All the better Touy thought as she alway felt cold and damp. Quikly and quitely she found a seat and continuded to read "One Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi" hoping she she might understand some of what the professer would say.

"yes,it is now.tears of joy."

Professor Virohsa frowned since the girl had decided to keep crying. She moved on and seeing that the class was full, she decided to proceed to the lesson.

"Welcome to your first Lesson of Herbology. I will not tolerate mistakes, so I suggest you eat your wand before making a tragic mistake. Good, now that it is settled, we shall begin with the lesson. Put your eye gear on and grab a pot, a pile of red sand, and put on your gloves quickly", she sneered.

Amanda did exactly as she was told,and started to smile.

Kassie walked over and grabbed a pot and some sand. Then she pulled on her gloves and awaited final instruction.

Whende frowned slightly as she put on her googles and stood up to get the equipment they'd been directed to get. It might just be her imagination, but had professor Virohsa always been this... snappy and strict. Shaking if off, she grabbed a pot and some sand, brought it back to her desk and pulled on some gloves, still humming and smiling again.

Touy shoved the book into her bag pulling out and putting on her eye gear and her gloves. She got up and went and got a pot and red sand. Touy hurry back to her place because this teacher did seem to be someone to mess with.

Erin put her goggles on before standing up and walking over to the desk that was holding their supplies. She grapped a pot and a pile of the red sand before walking back to her desk. After putting the things she was holding onto the desk, Erin squatted down and pulled her gloves out of her bag. She quickly slipped them on before sitting down again and looking up at the Professor, waiting for further instructions.

"We will be cultivating this plant..." she narrowed her eyes as she waited for all students to have protection. "Part of our safety is to know the plant we are handling. So what is this plant?", she asked coldly.

Slightly intimidated by an attitude she did not expect from someone who was so in touch with nature, Lauren hurried to grab a pot and some sand. Once back in her place, she snapped on a pair of goggles, pulled on the gloves that were on the table in front of her, and waited patiently (if not slightly terrified) to find out what they would be doing next. She silently prayed she didn't make any mistakes this lesson: she didn't want to end up on her professor's bad side, and she certainly didn't want to lose any points for her house. Lauren looked around at her classmates to see if any of them knew the answer to the question posed. Many of them looked as confused as she did (perhaps not AS perplexed, but maybe were so a smidge), which gave her a small bit of comfort.

Professor Virohsa waited for her students to say the answer, and deciding they might need some help, she again moved her wand to show two new pictures.
