"The difference?" Whende said with a little smile. "Well, for one thing, Sammy is a thousand times cooler than any ghost I've ever met... and then ghosts were once corporeal. As you said, Samea just was." She fiddled around with a small hole in her sock as she spoke. |
"Yea, but I still don't get it. Samea has a nose....Who or what determined what it was going to look like when she was formed? Did she take on the physical features of the person who's energy made her?" Tasha asked as she let the tip of her quill brush the parchment. |
"Yes....," Lainey said slowly. "Both answers are correct. You're missing a big one though. I'll have Samea demonstrate in a moment." Lainey stood up and walked over to her chalkboard. She drew a large cirlce with her wand on it. "We don't know who is responsible for making poltergeists, so there isn't any way to tell if she looks like her creator. I suppose it's possible, it could be random, it could be any number of things." "Now Samea, would you please throw something across the room?" Lainey motioned for her students to raise their books again. "And after that, please exit the room through this cirlce." Lainey tapped it with her wand for her to see. "Please." |
Samea considered the request before rummaging about in her pockets. "Throw something, says she. Jelly Bean thinks she's in charge, bossing Samea around and telling her what to do." Samea pulled handfuls out of her pocket, tossing four dung bombs, a capsule of boil-causing liquid, two water balloons full of pudding, and a rubber duck. She giggled madly and swooped through the circle on the wall calling out, "My tuuuuuuuuuurn!" |
Kassie screamed out as the boil causing liquid hit her in the face. She quickly pulled her robe up to cover her face. |
Whende had quite a bit of difficulty holding in her laughter. She had to clamp her hands over he mouth in order to keep herself quiet. As she stench from the dung-bombs reached her nose though, she jumped out of her seat and dashed away from the bombs, fanning the air around her. The fact that she was covered in pudding wasn't much exciting either. She took a bite though, and was happy to find that it was chocolate. "Yum!" |
Tasha, still sitting in her desk with her book on her head, laughed ferociously at Samea's idea of 'Throw Something'. A spot of pudding landed in her right eye, and she abruptly stopped laughing. "OH SNAP! What is that foul smell?" Tasha said as she krinkled up her nose, and scraped pudding from her face. "Oh that was completely uncalled for." Tasha rose from her chair and began to walk towards the professor's desk for a tissue when she stepped on one of Samea's gifts, and skidded the rest of the way. "Now I got dung on my new shoes. Thanks A Lot Samea!" Tasha yelled at the circle the poltergeuist dissappeared through. |
Phoebe listened to the proffesors reply to her question then watched, slightly amused as Samea threw things everywhere. Phoebe thought she knew what the proffesor meant by doing this. Raising her hand she said. "Proffesor, is the main difference that Ghosts can't touch anything, It just hoes right through them. Whereas Samea here can throw. I think that Ghosts can't eat, I suppose Samea can" She said her last comment a little bit off the subject. |
Jenni laughed, dodging a dungbomb. "Poltergeists are a mass of indestructible chaos. They have the ability to move objects, and have the ability that ghosts have of travelling through walls. But they are not pearly white and transparent like ghosts. They are more solid looking." Jenni said. |
Tag's reverie with Taylor's animated ponytail ended abruptly with the direct hit of a fast-flying rubber ducky, right on the forehead. It squeaked on impact. "Ouch!" yelled Tag, jerking his head. He was more upset about being brought back to reality than the actual method. Tag grabbed the ducky from underneath the desk, where it had bounced. If Samea was going to get nasty, then he was going to be annoying. He squeezed furiously. Squeaksqueaksqueaksqueaksqueaksqueaksqueaksqueaksq ueaksqueakvsqueak |
Kassie threw her shoe at Tag when he started making annoying noises. |
Lainey was just about to yell retreat... when her class started up again. The students seemed somewhat unaffected by the dung bombs, the pudding, the smell. "Phoebe, Jenni, those answers are right on! Excellent! Points to you both. I was hoping Samea would give you all a show of her many talents, and well, I believe she did. I do appologize for the dung bombs though." Lainey held her nose with one hand and waved her wand to clear the bombs with the other. The smell, however, was still strong throughout the room. "Let's... let's all get a bit of fresh air. Your homework assignment is to write a paragraph on any famous poltergeist. Easy enough! Class dismissed!" Lainey held her robes over her nose as she held the door open for her class to retreat. |
Katie packed all of her things up and walked out. |
Jenni smiled and packed up her things, before leaving the classroom. |
Kassie randomly threw her stuff in her bag and ran out he door |
Whende grabbed her bag and dashed out of the class, wiping pudding from her face as she went. She couldn't stand that smell for another second. She'd write down the assignment just as soon as she was away from that stench. |
Phoebe smiled, she was pleased to earn some points. Grabbing her books after writing the homework down she headed out the door getting away from the smell. "Thanks Proffesor" She said, her fingers over her nose, and she went. |
Tasha stood from her seat and said out loud, "Well.... that was....um....I think I need ANOTHER shower today." She hastly packed her notes and headed toward the common room. |
Sara quickly grabbed her things and half-walked, half-ran to the door and out. |
