Julia raised an eyebrow as Samea winked at her. She always hated it when people winked at her. As Lainey and Samea talked, the Ravenclaw shook her head. If they got locked in the room, Julia would just throw many exploding blue carrots at the door to blast a large hole in it so they could all get out. Nothing was too tough for Julia Agoobwah to handle. |
Kay banged her head on her desk and rose, rubbing her head, to see the poltergist sitting on her desk. She grimmaced and shut her eyes tight, wishing Samea would leave. |
Lainey cleared her throat. "Excuse me, Samea. Could you not breathe on the students?" Lainey hopped up to the top of her desk, her legs dangling in front. "Actually, Samea... you've inspired me to teach special lesson. Would you like to help me teach it? I think you'd be well informed on the subject and would be a good help." |
"I remember you, Lion Cub. It took you long enough to figure it out... or did you ever? Figure out this term yet? Dark but not, here but not, me... but not." She laughed and clapped her hands. Turning to look at her Jelly Bean, Samea cackled. "Samea knows everything. Mark me... everything." |
Whende smiled. "Yay!" she squeaked, jumping up and down and clapping. "Of course I figured it out... someone just beat me to it. I haven't figured out this term yet though." She bit her lip. "Ooh, will you really teach the lesson?" she asked with her eyes wide. |
Lee rushed down the History of Magic corridor and intot he classroom to find it almost full, but he wasnt quite late. He took a seat quickly and unpacked his things, waiting for Professor Lainey to speak. |
"Consider yourself marked, Samea." Lainey clasped her hands in front of her and put them in her lap. "Now, here's an easy question for you lot." Lainey pointed to Samea with her wand, "What is Samea exactly?" |
Sean raised his hand, "a poltergeist," |
Whende quickly sat down and her hand shot into the air. "She's a poltergeist," she began. "And she's definately a she." At that point, her smile became even bigger. "Er, and poltergeists are spirits that were never alive... I think," she added in an undertone. |
"Never alive?" Samea mocked. "Now that's unkind. I have more life than you whole lot put together. Never corporeal is more likely, and even that I can do this," she spit her gum into a dreamy-eyed kid in the next row. "Ickle Leekins is late, professor. Let's defenestrate him." |
"Erm, right, never corporeal," Whende said, scratching the back of her neck. She opened her mouth to say something, but only laughter came out. "S-sorry," she said as she clamped her hand over her mouth. |
Lee looked at Samea in anger, "How about an annoyance Professor?" Lee snarled. He placed the wand he had been twirling in his pocket and crossed his arms, keeping his eye on the poltergeist. |
"Ickle Leebaby is going to hex poor Samea? I don't have a wand, babykins. Don't hurt me," she sputtered and stuttered pathetically before grinning evilly. "I don't like your hair, babykins. The color hurts our eyes." |
"Who's we?" Whende asked curiously, brushing her own multi-colored hair away from her eyes. She leaned forward on the desk with her usual excited smile dancing about her face. |
Julia watched Lee and Samea with amusement. She never had liked Lee so it was pretty funny to see him get picked on by the Hogwarts' poltergeist. Folding her arms over her chest, she smirked to herself, really hoping that Samea would change Lee's hair to a different color. |
"Well I do apologise for the inconvience. I would have brought you some sunglasses to help shield your eyes, but then I realised your dead anyway it wouldn't matter if you went blind. Might save the school a lot of hassle," Lee said self conciously running his hands through his hair. |
"We... is me, myself, and I," Samea twirled her fingers in a circle and watched as several inkpots rose in the air. "And we... don't like babykin's inconvenient hair." She lowered her hand, and the pots poured out on his head. "Black is the new orange," she told him consolingly. |
"Oh," Whende said, sitting back in her seat. She'd been hoping for something a bit more exciting. At least Samea hadn't gotten upset about her hair. It was a bit rainbow bright after all. "No it's not," she said. "Orange is the new black." No one could rag on the wonder that is orange, yet she had to hold in another laugh anyway. To back up her point, she pulled out her wand, intending to turn the ink orange. When she swished her wand though, she only suceeded in turning it a muddy brown color with shots of pink in it. "Oops, please say that's just the ink." |
Serena glanced over at a very amused Julia, then looked back at Lee. As of now, she didn't care for Lee very much, especially since he seemed to have a bit of an attitude problem. Raising her eyebrows as Samea and Lee bantered, Serena hoped that either wouldn't have a temper tantrum and if so, then Professor Lainey would be able to restrain them before things got out of hand. She then bit her lip as Samea poured ink on Lee's head. Was Lainey just going to let Samea run amok? |
"ARGHHH," Lee shouted, "YOU STUPID IDIOT!". Lee had automatically rose out of his seat when Samea poured the ink over his head. Lee removed his wand from his pocket and made the dribbling ink disappear, however what had already stained his hair was still there since it was no longer liquid, he would just have to take a shower. Soon. |
Whende had gotten over her mess up and was now fighting back her laughter. "Sorry," she said. "It doesn't look... too bad." She didn't see how that was possible. Honestly, pink and brown hair. |
As Samea poured the ink on Lee's head, Julia snickered quietly. Boy, this poltergeist sure was something. She took out her notebook and wrote a title on on of the pages. 'How to Be Cool Like Samea,' it read. With a smirk still lingering on her face, she began casually jotting some things down that Samea was doing and saying. |
"Samea! That is quite enough!" Lainey told her, firmly. "Leave the students alone." Lainey sent Lee an apologetic look. She conjured up a stylish orange hat and tossed it over to him. "Samea, please, focus for me for a moment. Let's clear this up. Were you ever once alive? Some say that poltergeists originate after a person dies in a powerful rage at the time of death. But others say they are just beings. What can you tell me about this?" |
She sighed heavily. "I was never alive, as you put it. I just... one day was." |
"Ooh, story time!" Whende said, putting her wand back in her pocket. She need a destraction to keep her from laughing at Lee's pink streaked brown hair... or ink whichever way you wanted to look at it. Mud colored with pink, in her opinion, was a thousand times worse than rainbow. |
