If you've made it past the gargoyle, all that stands between you and the Headmistress is a solid wood door. On the other side of the door is a high ceilinged room with a desk at the far end. The walls are stacked with innumerable portraits, although they all appear to be sleeping deeply or otherwise engaged. The shelves and tables are lined with strange objects, some that seem almost familiar to you, and even a few you are certain are mutated Dark Magic Detectors. A low row of pictures line a bookshelf otherwise filled with various texts, and each features the same blond woman waving happily with some other person.

Behind the desk sits a woman deep in thought. Her honey-colored hair is braided and coiled around her head like a crown. She is wearing dark blue robes with flowers embroidered along the hems and neckline. Overall, she gives off quite a solemn appearance, until a sound from you catches her attention. When she looks at you, you realize her eyes are full of laughter and a smile plays around her lips. "What can I help you with today?"

ooc: Do NOT, under fear of punishment and of me giggling and pointing at you... do NOT post in this thread unless you have the password legitimately. Also... the Gargoyle thread may be used as a sort of waiting area for the Headmistress.

Rae glanced up, her hand instinctively covering the ring on her finger. "Samea... just the pest I wanted to see. Are you up for doing me a big favor?"

"Depends on what Samea is getting from it," the brightly hued poltergeist rolled onto her head and made a silly face. "Samea will be allowed to pester during class again."

"No, definitely not," Rae shook her head. "I simply want you to go tell the professors to meet this afternoon in the Staff Room for a very important meeting. Attendance is mandatory. In exchange, I'll allow sole haunting priveleges for the third floor corridor."

"Yes'm, dear Head," Samea floated closer as if to shake hands. "Samea shall scoot off to fetch the professors for your secret little meeting. I have plans for that corridor, you know. Mayhem. Chaos. Disaster. You keep the house ghosts clear." She switched directions, dumped some sort of gooey liquid on Rae's head, and disappeared through the ceiling.

Rae made an ill face before Scourgifying her desk and robes. The liquid made her hair clump oddly, and she hoped to make it to her quarters for a bath before the staff meeting. "Might as well go catch up with a few more students while I can."

Rae led the way into her office. She sat behind her desk and gestured for the Hufflepuff boy to take a seat. "What seems to be bothering you so severly that you don't even have time for manners?"

"well my anger is getting the best of me and my brother isnt talking to me and not only that but i cant stop hexing people when i feel angry witch is most of th time so im a danger to those around me "james said tears coming from his eyes.

"That is certainly an issue," Rae offered the boy a tissue across the desk. "But it sounds more as if you need to figure out a better way to handle your anger. I'm not sure what you want me to do. I can put you in detention or offer you some counseling from St. Mungo's... but it sounds as if you need to control yourself."

If you can't hold your tongue, you will have to leave," it wasn't Rae's usual way of dealing with students, but she felt this boy needed a hard line in order to motivate a change in behavior.

"Well, what triggers your temper? Maybe we can come up with some cool down techniques." Rae pulled out a quill and tapped it against the desk, ready to take notes.

"well any thing to dowith my parents being shouted at and my brother is not talking to me and here someone how helping me to try to control my anger and it a pupil but it not realy working." james said

the thought of my parents makes me upset and becuase my brother isnt speeking to me is upseting me too. james said

"I suggest you talk to your brother and find out why he won't talk to you," Rae noted it on her paper as well. "And I suggest you try counting to 10 or removing yourself from the situation when you start to get angry."

"You're going to have to just BE CALM," Rae insisted. "You are in charge of yourself, and if you lose your temper, you will continue to get yourself into trouble. I know it's hard, but we all struggled with things like this."

"Please do," Rae smiled tiredly and watched the boy leave. She rose and headed back down to the sitting area by the gargoyle.

Rae reentered the office and pointed to the chair for the girl. "And what's up?" She plopped into her own chair and steepled her fingers under her chin.

"Well, at least we have a predictable pattern forming," Rae sighed to herself before she offered the girl a small smile. "Why don't you tell me what you mean, my dear?"

Rae smiled. "That isn't dangerous unless you refuse any precautions. Do you have a sufficient supply of Wolfbane Potion, or do I need to have Professor Branxton brew us up some?"
